Jerusalem Re-unification celebration in IDF

IDF

The people of IDF came out in the streets and celebrated 37 years of a unified Jerusalem. The date marks when Israeli Paratroopers captured the old city from the Jordanians and Gaza and Sinai from the Egyptians. They also got the strategic Golan heights.

This day marks when the Israeli's launched the 6 day war to decapitate their Arab enemies and get a buffer zone from them. The war was launched 2 weeks after the Egyptians and other Arab states blockaded Eliat by sea to cripple Israel. A highly placed Mossad agent then found out about plans to launch a war in the coming months against Israel. The Israeli's reacted valiantly and halted the plan by destroying the enemy armies and reunifying the great city of Jerusalem. The people now celebrate that event and come to the Western Wall, a holy site they could not visit 37 years and a day ago. No they can visit it,
