The People's Republic of Gaia Rodina, having lost our largest supplier of naval technology (Xylion Industries), is actively seeking a supplier of naval hardware. The People's Republic also wishes to begin mass-producing these types of hardware. We are looking for the following.

Heavy Battleships
Attack Submarines
Supercarriers
Ballistic Missile Submarines

If anyone is willing to sell the People's Republic designs for such vessels, or if they wish to set up a long-term contract, please message Admiral Yuri Padorin.

I can sell you production rights, but you can not sell the ships you make of my design. I want you to name what you like and we will negotiate a price.

OOC-Doujin, there is no way in HELL I am buying my own goddamn ships from you. So forget it.

IC

Gaia Rodina already posesses the knowledge of the Kirov-class, but we are interested in your Arizona-class Battleships and GALAXY class nuclear Submarines.

Please, name a price.

I want you to name a price, and then we will have a back and forth. I'm unsure of how much production rights should be so tell me and I will tell you if I think it is fair or not

OOC: Your loss, Feazanthia - however, you would have had to purchase your own ships in the first place. So, I don't understand what your quorom is :P

While we would not be willing to offer production rights for the crafts marked with the NS Exclusive label (the others are universally recognized as free for all to produce), we would be very interested in setting up long term supply contracts at discounted rates for the following vessels:

Latest GMI ship design. Belt armor more than 3 feet in thickness enables the Warlord to withstand nearly any form of attack.

Cost: 1.8 billion, $2.3 billion packaged with one Manta fast attack minisub (see below), $2.5 billion packaged with two Manta fast attack minisubs. 10% discount to regional allies.

The latest and greatest in attack subs. Designed to take out submarine and surface targets before they become threats to a larger fleet or area on land, this sub runs virtually silent up to 25 knots. With massive weapons stores and an 8 tube, double-deck torpedo room, it can simulataneously engage multiple threats. A reinforced hull and sail enable it to operate under ice caps.

Manta class fast attack minisub NS Exclusive
Length: 40 feet

Armament: 10 horizontal launch tubes, which can hold any tube launched weapon under 20 feet in length, including Mk. 48 and torpedo tube launched Tomahawk cruise missiles. Tubes can be simultaneously fired. No added storage. Comes with Mk. 50 torpedoes.
Cost: 525 million, 10% discount to regional allies.

Deployed from a larger sub, this vessel's speed and ability to empty all of its weaponry at once makes it perfect for fast hit and run attacks on enemy coast lines. The high amount of noise it generates while operating does not matter in most cases, because its amazing speed enables it to outrun most torpedoes. In fact, this speedy ship is able to become completely airborne for a very brief moment when performing an emergency rise at full speed. Its short combat radius requires it to return to the "mother" sub or base very often for refueling, limiting it to fast attack and return missions, close quarters aid for battles with other subs, and close range coastal defense.

Virginia class attack submarine
Length: 377 feet

Crew: 113
Cost: $2.1 billion, 10% discount to regional allies.

The Virginia class is the US Navy's follow on to the SeaWolf class attack submarine. Though its attack capability is substantially lower than that of the SeaWolf, it is capable of carrying out a variety of missions the SeaWolf could not attempt. The Virginia was designed with maximum flexibility in mind and thus has modular units and is capable of carrying out 7 varying mission types: cover land strike, anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, battlegroup communciations and electronics support, covert intelligence operations, covert minelaying, and SpecOps missions such as search and rescue or sabotage.

Oscar II class attack submarine
Length: 513 feet
Width: 61 feet
Draft: 27 feet
Speed: 32 knots submerged, 16 knots surfaced

Armament: Four 533mm torpedo tubes and four 650mm torpedo tubes, as well as 24 SS-N-19 missile tubes.
Crew: 107
Cost: $2 billion. 10% discount to regional allies.

One of Russia's largest and most capable submarines, the Oscar class features a double hull design that reduces sound transmitted to the water and provides reserve buoyancy, leading to better survivability against conventional torpedoes. Although slow to dive and maneuver, these subs have excellent underwater speed.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/ssn-705-p02-s.jpg
Los Angeles class attack submarine
Length: 360 feet
Width: 33 feet
Draft:

Max operating depth:
Armament: Four 533mm torpedo tubes and 12 VLS tubes for the Tomahawk cruise missile.
Crew: 129
Cost: $900 million. 10% discount to regional allies.

An aging vetern of the US Navy fleet, this ship is being replaced by the SeaWolf and Virginia attack submarines. Fast and stealthy, this sub is designed almost exclusively for anti-submarine warfare operations as part of a carrier battlegroup. An excellent choice for young nations looking to cheaply establish a navy.

You drive a hard bargain, Doujin, but I'll take them for fourteen billion.

And what about my planes? Mostly I want the Comet and Crazy Penguin back, but I'll take them all if you aren't interested in them.

IDF-You've got yourself a deal. 15 billion for the Arizona (mind if I rename it?) class and 12 billion for the Galaxy class.

As a sign of goodwill (for purchasing the designs for the ships), Gaia Rodina can have production rights to all products made by the Xylion Industries of old.
