Qaghan institutes "monarchist communism".

Yesterday, the Qaghan made a huge, far-reaching decision, coming as it did on the wake of the massive Turkic victory in the Battle of Hami. All corporations have been disbanded and all industries are now under teh control of the government. Nomadism has been massively discouraged (but not eradicated) as many are re-settled on collectives. A large communist infrastructure is set up, with one vital difference: the position of Chairman/Prime Minister/Qaghan is hereditary. Barring this one difference, Daylam will be turned into a communist state. As such, defence spending, already on a dramatic rise, has been hugely increased to make sure the Xinjiang War (known as the East Turk War in Daylam) goes well.

The Qaghan Kül Tigin II is happy with the coming changes and he embraces all the comrades in other communist states.

Unfortunately, Daylam is too far on the path, with the largest Daylami corporations having been almost completely dismantled by now. Monarchist communism will be completely implemented soon enough.

The official name will be the Turkic People's Qaghanate of Daylam, or TPQD for short.

DaKhiem may not be the most renowned of international diplomacy centres, nor usually the most keen, but in light of the recent upheaval in Daylam and of the tenuous but potentially significant links already existing between the two states, Dra-pol's small diplomatic corps has been activated. The CPRD has been quick to send its congratulations to the people of Daylam, on their progressive step, and at the same time begun efforts to promote a thawing of relations between Daylam, China, and the Choson People's Republic.

Secretary Hotan is beyond happy to entertain the possibility not only of seeing Beijing willing and even keen to allow and promote trade between Daylam and Dra-pol through its territory, but of stabilising what he sees as a spiralling decling of Chinese socialism. With potentially large, friendly nationalised economies to her east and west, Hotan hopes to see Beijing less ready to abandon its near eighty year struggle.

DaKhiem has made a diplomatic gift of an ancient Drapoel gold idol -thought to represent one of the first dynasty's emperors, embossed after 1938 with assorted symbols of the revolution- to the Qaghan. The idol, value unknown, is thought to have already departed across the Chinese frontier aboard an AN-2 transport aircraft.

The AN-2 was cordially escorted to the provincial Daylami capital of Urümqi, where the Qaghan left the battle front in Hami to personally meet the representatives. The idol is generously accepted, and four golden, jewel-encrusted scimitars are given as a resturn gift to the Drapoel ambassadors out of the personal armory of the Daylami royal family.
Daylam whole-heartedly thanks Dra-pol for its friendly response and encouragement.

Half-bump and an OOC: Dra-pol would it be possible to RP sending diplomat(s) to DaKhiem or set up a small embassy within the nation? You are really the closest thing to an "ally" Daylam has ever had. Usually we have been on the receiving end of an international coalition.

We ask that you give us the rich people in your nation and their property to settle in Magdha.

It seems that all overly rich people in Daylam have just had their wealth confiscated and given to the overly poor. They all have all been sent to work in mines, manufacturing, or collectives in the Turkic People's Qaghanate of Daylam.

::BUMP:: for Dra-pol.

The CPRD, under comrade Secretary Hotan's interim administration, would be willing to accomodate a very small Daylami diplomatic presence in DaKhiem, though the staff on hand would be subject to strict controls. They'd not be allowed to leave the little walled city, most likely, and would probably have to spend almost all of their time in what would be a relatively small embassy compound.

The Central Directorature meanwhile is extoling the virtues of the Daylam transition and it's resistance to corruption by reactionary forces such as the corrupt and decadent government of Magdha.

We thank you and understand the need for tight security and restrictions. We have selected some of our very finest diplomats to be sent to Dra-pol on the return flight of the AN-2. These men are authorized to represent the TPQD in all matters of international relations and diplomacy.

Please give them to us so we may give them a new life in Magdha.

Qaghan institutes "monarchist communism".

Thats a oxymoron I think, Communism is controlled by the working class not by an elite ruler

No. Marxists believe in a dictatorship of the proletariat. This is Stalinist communism with a twist: the office is hereditary and therefore a monarchy. The entire economy is under government control and is therefore communism.

aaw, this is so sweet. two diplomatically isolated, agressive communist neo-monarchies finally find love....

Our offer still stands, give us the rich and their property or dont give it to them and then send them to Magdha. Your working classes will be pleased.

As I said, this will be quite impossible. The rich were the first to be arrested and put into communes.
