The following changes have been made to the training regimen currently in use by all branches of the armed forces.
1. Increase of physical training period from two months to four months.
2. Increase of weapons training period from two months to four months.
3. Addition of tactical training period- lasting three months
4. Addition of strategic training period (only for qualified personnel)- two months
5. Increase of seperate military specialty (MS) training from anywhere between one and four months to a minimum of four months of training.
This means training for the average ARSB Soldier in all services will last at least 17 months. ARSB Advanced Forces (those outfitted with the VEPR system) are required to go through 19 months of training, which include a one month training session in the basic use of the VEPR and a one month training session in the advanced use of the VEPR system. All special forces are required to go through at least 24 months of training. Usually, this is an 18 month initial training period with up to a year off and/or engaging in conflicts for additional training. This is then followed by a six-month long training session, or numerous smaller sessions, depending on service and exact special forces group.
Costs for this increased program are expected to be outstanding, but recent increases of the defense budget should pay for the cost. The ARSB military will still remain a volunteer-only military and currently staffs a total of nearly 14 million uniformed service members in all branches of the armed forces including reserves. However, of those, about six million are actual combat soldiers (infantry, tank crew, aircraft crew, etc. Not including ship crewmembers in the Navy).
