mmm...well let it be a Capture the City eg destroy all defending forces, as i post my forces first u can decide if u want to defend or attack.

OOC: good i was hopeing you would say that

IC:

The longtoms and Vice's moved in slowly, then stoped they were spread across a large area. as soon as they stoped the opened fire (there mobile artillary units) with there Plasma Cannons raining down apon the inner city. the Vices Fired there Rail Guns towards the inner city smashing though Buildings as if they were paper.

the Madcats set into Lances (4 mech teams) and started to move into he city with Defender Lances following Scanning the sky for any Aircraft.

Squads of Valkyire VF 1As went to the skys looking for aircraft while the VF 1Ds started bombing runs on the inner city. the 1S's and Lightnings were in Battloid mde or GEARWALK mode landing in the Outskirts of the inner city moveing in to take key locations, attacking any Units they saw.

1 Divsion of Marines set up defenceive Postions in the outter city mainly around the Longtoms and Vice's. setting up in Buildings and heavy MG nests in the streetsa few Rail Cannon teams set up in nice Ambush sites waiting for any Mecha they could attack.
Plasma Cannon teams took up simular postions but waited for ground forces to come, with Anti Air teams setting up in the taller buildings to attack Aircarft.
the 2nd Divsion started to move into the city in teams of 10, goin building by building clearing out what they could.
2 Platoons (40 troops each) set up Defensive Posts in 4 Major Roads leading to the Outer City.

Note: My largest unit is the Gladiator USR, and that is only 14 feet tall. I have no true 'mecha.'

IC: The Stalkers were deployed anywhere a choke point or ambush could be established amongst big buildings. Scanning the area with passive sensors, they were expertly hidden, ready to pounce upon any enemy forces that blundered into the city.

The Paladins were deployed with the gladiators, each covering the others' weakness. The Gladiators covering the paladins' relative lack of armor with its bulk, and the Paladins covering the Gladiators from aerial attack.

The Pheonixes were deployed to harrass the Enemy marine teams trying to set up AA emplacements around the city.

The Dreasels proved their worth, being deployed around the city to relay enemy force disposition and power to the commanders.

24 of the Silencers covertly (Using active camo and thermal dampning) made their way towards the enemy artillery mechs.

The troopers inside the X-6 assault armors were deployed in key buildings, attempting to slow the marine advance.

The MI troopers were supporting the X-6 troops.

Meanwhile, The resonance tanks split up into hunter killer teams to destroy the madcat and defender lances.

The Laser tanks also split up, grouping with the resonance tanks hunting for enemy mechs.

The Eclipse bombers, escorted by the Starfire fighters, made their way to bomb the Artillery mechs bombarding the city. They were to be guided to their targets by the Silencer team that was deployed.

The Nebula superfighters began performing CAP duties around the city, hunting down aerial combatants where ever they were found.

The remaining silencers made their way through the city, firing heavy missiles at targets of oppertunity.

2 Squads of VF 1As turned to attack the Pheonixes, as the Defenders opened fire at incomeing bombers.
1 squad of VF 1S move in to attack a group of Eclipse bombers and starfire fighters

Artillary units carry on fireing into the inner city (random targets but the most logical ones lol)

1st divsion complete set up of ambush sites but AA teams are taking Heavy fire,
1st Divsion 2nd Platoon in around Artillary units start to set up Thermal and motion sensors in casse of any incrusions (will take 10-20mins to set up tho)
2nd Divsion teams move in but (im guessing) 3 teams walk right into an ambush.
2nd Divsion 1st Platoon set up motion Sensors in areas and Set up booby traps in buildings at cross junction Alpha.

Madcat units move in slowly targeting (when in range) Paladins and Gladiators.
1st Lance get hit by a group of X number of Laser tanks and resonance tanks light damage to 1 Madcat heavy damage to 1 other.
2nd Lance of madcats run into a group of Silencers getting hit by a barage of missile fire, one madcat take a crtical hit to the head and is destroyed, remaining units open fire from were the missiles were fired with flamers and light MG and Hvy MG fire.

OOC: just so u know my main way of finding things is by motion sensors and thermal sensors, but also the normal rader scanners and so forth, the Marines tho have to set up motion sensors to be able to use them and that takes time and:

mind if i test out some critters? unlikly to do much damage but would be good to say i have tested them in city fight senario's
would only send in 3 lictors and an avatar.

Okey dokey.

300 MI troopers due to enemy artillery barrage
10 "Starfire" fighters due to enemy defender AA platforms

20 Laser tanks due to combat with enemy mecha
3 Resonance tanks due to combat with enemy mecha

IC:

Upon hearing that the bombers were in trouble, the Nebula superfighters dropped their CAP duties and began speeding towards the Veritech fighters. When in range, they launched Titan long range AAMs. But they didn't wait for the titans to hit, they closed in and fired gattling lasers.

Meanwhile, some of the starfires have broken off to attack the veritechs harrassing the bombers. Their light pulse lasers flared, but it is unknown if they did any damage.

The Bombers continued on, and began bombing the enemy artillery mechs and their defender escorts. Using guided EMP, X-Ray laser, and conventional FAE bombs, they pummeled the enemy forces. The area became pockmarked with craters and fires.

Meanwhile, the Avatar transports began strafing whatever artillery units the bombers missed.

The Paladins and Gladiators fell back to several tactical 'strong points' that are very difficult to attack with ground forces (due to proximity of buildings, and the fact that there is only one or two entrances to the strong point.) There, they met up with several hunded (600) Stalkers.

The Resonance tanks and laser tanks continued on their hunter killer duties.

The X-6 troops, along with the MI troops noticed that the enemy marines were attempting to set up some sort of device throughout the city. Wherever such a device was under construction, the MI teams and X-6 units made an attack against it.

The remaining silencers, meanwhile, had retreated to the strong points (usually underground parking garages and the like) and began setting up deployable weapons, including .50 caliber stationary machine guns, AT rocket launchers, and mines.

3 lictors - heat filament carapace - results in no thermal readings.
Refractor alloy carapace - 100% camaleonic
Reflector alloy carapace - results in 75% dampening of all energy based attacks - ideally lasors.
Barbed Flesh hooks - allow for 100% free vertical movement - these small barbed hooks fire out into a climbing surface and support the lictor on tough sinue strands.
Homeostatic adrenal glands - capable of remaining 100% motionless with no heart beat for 1 hour - also allows movement in vacume (space)
They are 9ft tall with huge rending claws 2ft long consisting of a damond composite - they where designed to muti function as not only scouts but tank hunters.
Synaptic stimulae enable them to taste their prey before they reach it - they know everything about the living prey they are hunting down to its genetic make up from its pheromones alone.
Brain harvesting - once target has been eliminated the lictors will feed on the brain of the dead collecting all knowledge that the target held.
3 Synapse harvesters - small spores that are used to turn people into hive drones - no external change is observable other than a small mark. They become under the control of the hive after 5 minuetes as a node is grown in their nervous system.
Blood has a pH of 0.175 and as such is a highly corosive acid.

*A pool of dark blood was around her and it was obvious she had been hit in the upper thigh by a large caliber weapon.*
"Please *cough* help!" *she moaned a little as the pain in her leg pulsed.*

*Mean while ontop of a towerblock a lictor looked down on 3 mecha locating strategic weaknesses where piping was located. It hung there watching - waiting.*

wow thats a long list (im glade i didnt post the names of all dead or wounded)

the madcats and Defenders were ordered to regroup and pull back few loses taken on pull back.
2nd Divsion order to stand ground and defended postions, High rise buildings were places for AA weapons (in top floor window and such roofs to risky) building were fortified.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Regiment Start sweaping the outter city for enamy troops, 4th Regiment start to move to wards the Artillary units setting up defensive postions around them opening fire on CF forces, 32 out of the 70 Motion and Termal sencers were put up, mutiply teams were cut down.

Air forces were pulling back to cover the Artillary and to take down the bombers, apart from the VF 4 lightnings that flew to the otherside of the city landing and turning into the Battleoid mode and headed into the inners of the inner city hunting down any mecha.

The Silencers advanced towards the woman cautiously. She was obviously hurt. The leader of the squad, Colonel Molotov called into a small hand radio "This is Silencer squad 1, We've detected a civilian. She appears to be dying. She looks like she's in a lot of pain." Molotov said into the radio

"Understood. A medic is en route. Hang tight." The commander replied.

The silencers approached the woman, keeping their guns on her at all times. She could be an enemy spy for all they knew.

Meanwhile, the Lightnings pulled back, and the Nebulas resumed stalking the skies for enemy veritechs.

The tanks continued upon their hunter-killer mission, and the other units remained on their set tasks.

Losses:
5 Lightnings from enemy fire returning from the bombing run.
10 Starfires from enemy fire returning

The lictor released it grasp on the tower block falling towards the mechs below. As it hurtled towards them it fired flesh hooks into the closest using it as a swing harness the lictor swoped low then spiraled up slamming into the back of a second huge machine. Its momentum allowed it to slam its claws into the back of the mech where its diamond hard monofilament edged scything talons began to rip into exposed piping and and weak armour locates - eg neck join etc.
Its movements where a blur as it recamoflaged before jumpng into a third mecha's arm and clambering over it changing its image to avoid being seen.

In the underground the woman looked up at the men with a pleeding look in her eyes
"Please help me..." With a deep rasp she fainted pain overcomming her, it was obvious she was still alive from her grating breaths and the slow pulse of blood showed her heart was still beating.
