Kraytian News Network reporting from capital city Rovaniemi:
"Today is a sad day for our country. Government sources confirmed this morning that emperor Aapo I has moved to eternity after suffering a fatal heart attack. As our emperor hadn't heir, the government of Kraytia will have hard time to prevent a power struggle between those who would like to take Aapo I's place. Only time will show what will happen"

The Commonwealth of Rose grieves over the death of the Emporer. We think the best way to get an heir is to have an election, it is the best way to get an heir without rioting. Besides, it will make the people happy if they had an election do you think? Of course, this is just one way, maybe you can find a blood relative of the Emporer, like a cousin or brother, if he has any. I am sorry for his death and may God bless you through these times.

President Sergei Ilyanov of the Commonwealth of Rose.
UN Delegate of the New Roman Empire.

The Empire of the Eternal Dawn extends both its sympathies and an offer to dispatch Peacekeeper forces to Kraytia, to help ensure stability in this difficult period.

Furthermore, if Kraytia is interested in such, we would be willing to offer a long-term solution to their current difficulties in selecting an heir.

KNN reporting from Rovaniemi
"As many countries have suggested, the government of Kraytia will hold an election for place of emperor. Leaders of the Social Democrats, the Centrist Party, the National Socialists and the National Coalition have announced that they will take part in..."

Tuomo Jalouoma turned the TV off in HQ of ÅLA (Åland Liberation Army) in Mariehamn. Turned to 32 other men and women sitting in the room.
"Comrades, we must act fast if we want to achieve our goals. With no leader it will be more difficult for Kraytia to prevent us of becoming independent, but if a new emperor will rise we won't have much a chance."

Håkan Himmelgår, who was sitting closest to Tuomo, coughed for attention and said:
"Our militia is ready. We have enough weapons and men to take over the army garrison on Northern Beach. Only threat will be the navy, but fortifications and coastal batteries should keep it away."

Sonja Olofsson, leader of ÅLA's intelligence informed:
"Kekkish people are also wanting independence again, so Kraytia must fight in two places at once. Some radical movements may also contribute to chaos."

Tuomo smiled.
"Good, we will begin our actions day after tomorrow, the same day when Aapo I will be buried. For independent Åland!"
"For independent Åland!"

If Kraytia will give its permission, the Empire will dispatch two Aystaku class airborne frigates, which will wait outside Kraytian airspace. Should their presence be required and requested, then and only will they enter Kraytia itself.

If Kraytia requires troops on the grounds, the Empire can provide 2,000 IDSF peacekeepers - armed with non-lethal weapons only - to help aid the Kraytian military protect key areas during this sensitive time.

Furthermore, if needed, we can provide IDF Peackeeper ground troops - again, with non-lethal armaments only - to provide support to local authorities for the duration of the elections themselves.

We would also be willing to dispatch political advisors, and would furthermore like to dispatch observers to ensure the validity of the elections; we would not wish to see such a valiant step forward by the noble Kraytian people overturned by oppurtunists.

With hope for the future,

In Stability We Trust,

KNN reporting from Rovaniemi
"Situation in Kraytia is beginning to slip out of government's hands today on the day of Aapo I's funeral. Early this morning Ålandish nationalists managed to capture army garrison and coastal fortifications and they have taken some high ranking officers hostige. And in south, Kekkish militants have attacked garrisons near their autonomic area and they have been able to steal equipment from one of them.

The National Socialist party's head Sikka Peetoin has also threatened Kraytia's lawful government if no action can be taken against these terrorist acts."

OOC: Hmm, I've got basically no interest in NS anymore, I've got no idea of what's going on (especially on Mars), but I guess I've got to make some sort of statement about this.

IC:

Timo Harakka, Speaker for the Kekkish Government, released the following statement considering the current situation.
"The Kekkish government asks that the Kekkos calm down and end their rebellion, as going further will most likely result in nothing more than loss of autonomy. If they want to achieve total independence, or possibly join Kekkosmaa again, we will consider supporting their cause and encourage negotiations.

We hope that the emperor's death will cause no more loss of blood and hope that a new emperor will be elected soon."

"Due to legislative difficulties, we regret to inform the Kraytian Government that the EOTED Peacekeeper force promised is arriving, albeit somewhat later than expected.

"However, the armed forces themselves report ready for immediate deployment. The IDSF forces committed will arrive under radio silence on a hot orbital approach 25 miles north-north-west of the Kraytian capital. They will bring anti-air equipment with them, in case such is required; recent events in Kraytia seem to indicate that a larger, more durable peacekeeping force may be required in the near future - if this proves to be so, the Empire will continue to stand by the Kraytian Government and the Kraytian People, striving to help build a better, more stable future for all.

"The IDSS Fear - a Fear class stellar carrier - has been diverted to cislunar space to provide rapid insertion possibilities for the IDSF 1 Armour Force stationed aboard. Should the Armour Force be required, the carrier can achieve full deployment of that Force - three thousand strong - within four hours of notification of requirement. We hope that such is not required, however.

"Pursuant to this hope and desire, the Empire offers a solution for all parties in Kraytia: we suggest a Summit to discuss possible conflict resolution efforts, on temporarily neutral soil inside Kraytia that, for the duration of those negotiations, will be considered EOTED soil and thus inside the bounds of our security concerns. Such an arrangement allows both parties to have 'home advantage', without any disadvantage to either party. Once negotiations are concluded, the EOTED force will withdraw or not withdraw to the extent requested by the Kraytian People and the Kraytian Government.

"In order to maintain order in the interim, however, the Empire is perfectly willing to deploy forces to support the Kraytian Government, and strongly suggest that any rebel forces looking to exploit the current political climate in Kraytia bring their disagreements to the Table forthwith. We note that if the Kraytian Government does indeed accept this proposal to increase the Kraytian Peacekeeping Force in Kraytia, any rebel factions will almost certainly fail to achieve their objectives, resulting purely in more Kraytian blood being spilt by Kraytians against Kraytians. As the Imperial Special Defense Force does not use lethal arms, we can guarantee that we will not spill Kratyian blood; our message to the rebels is this:

"Can you?

The sleek forms of the pair of Aystaku class I/CMFs - Interdirction/(Counter)countermeasure Frigate - fell from the sky after an uneventful orbital traversion. The ships remain in orbit, at rest above Kraytia in preperation for the requirement of an orbital insertion; in cislunar space, in a position on a perfect parabolic arc from the positions of the Aystaku class ships, rests the IDSS Fear, the leading carrier of the 1 Stellar Squadron.

The rest of the Squadron remains exactly where it was before, however; clearly, the carrier is merely a support.

From around the curve of the planet, at significantly lower altitude but not quite within the atmosphere of the Earth still, scream several dozen dropships. They hurtle around the curve of the planet as they fall into the atmosphere, dropping to the ground twenty-five miles outside of the Kraytian capital - they do not bother to make contact with Kraytian officials until they land, simply because the insertion was far too hot to communicate; they were in radio blackout the entire path down, anyway.

Number 19181 - usually just 19181 - holding the rank of Commandant, ordered that the dropships remain inert and the troops to stay put.

CRS Rose:

In the carrier deck:

"You are cleared for takeoff, okay boys, let's try to keep democracy uncorrupted." 10 C-130 Air Transport planes take off for Kraytia, landing in their Capital's runway. As the plane stop to a close, you see doors open and ladders dropping...

In their Airport:

As the planes open, you see foreign troops walkoff, marching with military presicion. They are in full kevlar. They have modified AK-74s. They sport grenade launchers, and snipe scopes. "Left, left, left, right left." They secure their airplanes with Special Forces presicision.

An encrypted telegram arrives at Kraytia's office saying:

"The Rosktai have landed for peacekeeping duty, we have given you 1000 of them. Tell me where you want them. I am sorry if we have alerted any alarms, but this was the earliest we could land them, so sorry if I caused any alarm. Thank you."

OOC: Sorry if it sounded noobish  And um I think it's fair my economy is strong enough for all those troops and I have enough people but meh @.@

Two day meeting with president Urajoki of Uusimaa has been a success with Urajoki promising that their police force will do everything they can to stop these militants.
But the rebels in Åland have refused to give in and in mainland Kraytia some parties are demanding a new form of government to be established instead of monarchy.
