"May I emplore Hendrick Rhodes to recall Gustav Rhodes to FWS, lest he be forced to live the remainder of his life in exile. As a man exiled for your policies surely you can have a heart to head my appeal"

Hendrik Rhodes has already arranged for Walter Kruger and Gustavus Rhodes to be brought back to Rhodes City.'

Hendrik has declared that in light of recent attempted communist attacks on his nation, that the permanent exile could and should be reduced to 1-2 weeks exile, since he was out of the nation that long for the trial etc he is back.

"His Holy Majesty's government has refused to comment on this latest development, but it is highly likely that this will signal the end of all relations between FWS and the Holy Empire."

Note that this abdication was only made necessary by the massive instability that was started by the mistake over the peace-keepers.

It became absolutely necessary after the IDF and the Commie Louisiana crisis.

Alexander couldn't hold the country together a single day longer...

Even now as we speak perhaps 2-3 million people are rallying around the nation to show support for the reborn Hendrik regime.

Fascist News Network Commentary.

The extremely brief regime of Alexander Rhodes proved unable to increase popular support for the regime and also unwilling to enlist outside support to crush internal elements of revolt. Therefore it was doomed from the beginning. But fortunately for FWS citizens, Alexander wasn't very determined to hold onto power, or else there could have been a brutally long civil war. It was a noble thing he did, abdicating in favor of a much better ruler.
