For the first time during the Christian rule of Jeruselem, the position of Grand Chancellor has been created. In the past, the ruling monarch handled daily affairs of the Kingdom but lately due to the increasing complexity of the Queen's duties this become necessary. The Grand Chancellor will handle non-military domestic affairs of state but keep out of foreign affairs and other international incidents.
Queen Mariah I, head of state, has appointed the Francis Marde as the first Grand Chancellor. In his first speech, Francis said "I am priveleged to be in this position as appointed by her royal highness. I will serve the people of Jeruselem and seek to work for their welfare in my capacity as Grand Chancellor. God bless everyone"
