Six outposts, which currently remain under control of the ITD government, have seen an increase in anti-government sentiment over the past month. Political analysts cite the recent move of the government from a partially elected dictatorship, where the governing council was elected directly by the people. The nation went to a monarchy after former President Lazarus disbanded the governing council and appointed himself King. The matter was only worsened by the birth of his son, establishing his lineage for future generations.
The six outposts under question, which contain military equipment and first strike capable weaponry, have been placed under military control, but a silent resistance is evident in light skirmishes and increasing discoveries of contraband. The contraband recovered has included small and medium arms, hand grenades and small conventional rockets.
Video's of resistance propaganda has reached the public network, reaching a predicted 30 million viewers in the past week alone. The videos include disturbing footage of enemy rallies and flag burnings, which government officials call offensive and illegal. They also depict renditions of the King burning, being beaten, dragged across glass and ripped apart. Government officials called these images and events, "enraging and crawling with treasonous, terrorist acts."

We go live to outpost delta, where firefights have broken out between rebels and ITD soldiers. Apparently the rebels obtained access to a weapons cache...... excuse me...... here comes a soldier.....
<Reporter> What is the state of the skirmish
<Soldier> Well, the rebels are using small arms fire to make ITD forces take cover. We were caught completely off guard, as the rebels had attacked the barracks, where the night crew had just disarmed in order to rest.
<Reporter> So they killed unarmed soldiers?
<Soldier> Yes... some of the soldiers escaped, but most were killed and their weaponry and armor stolen. Many of the rebel forces are completely armored. Our forces are cut in half......
