Doujin is currently looking for nations who are interested in allowing the construction of several large shipyards. Nations who are interested must have an adequate workforce, who will be paid handsomely, and must be able to to agree to sign Mutual Defense Treaties with Doujin.

Nations who are interested should apply in this thread, and should be able to agree to the conditions that are needed for our shipyards.

What Doujin promises to give to it's workers:
1.) Free Medical Insurance
2.) Emergency, on the spot medical care
3.) Conditioned housing, provided by Doujinshi Corporaiton at a reduced price.
4.) Dental plans
5.) 1 week paid vacation per year.
6.) Employment Contracts - 35,000 a year starting wage.

What we need:
1.) At least two drydocks in the shipyards will need to be built on hard stone, preferably granite. This is needed to support the sheer weight of the vessels that will be constructed there, and construction facilities.

2.) There has to be a 30m low tide draft, minimum. That's 99.9ish feet deep.

3.) Adequate workforce. We, of course, will be hiring people from the nations where these shipyards will be built at and will want to make sure there will be enough.

4.) Treaty of Defense signed, showing that you will defend all Doujinshi interests within your nation along with Doujin.

We will help, but you don't need to pay the workers that well. We'll provide you cheap sweatshop style labor. You can send to government treasury of the FWS 50% of what the worker's would normally make.

The Mikosolf Corperation can almost assuridly provide you with what you need, however, our system of work force differs from what you seem to be catering to. If you do choose us it should work more like this:

We can support the facility you've described on our Northeastern coast, complete with a freshwater river feeding it, and a "cleaned" city-site.
Workforce is available, and even skilled. A Mutual Defense pact won't be a problem, provided it remains purely defensive. With the exception of the Legion of Defense, and participation in the Council of Air Powers, we have no seriously entangling alliances that might generate a conflict-of-interests. you'll note that Nuevo Kowloonese aid workers, rather than military personnel, were involved in the recent regrettable incidents in the Haven region.

Sargoth Isle would be perfect for your needs. The entire island is granite, it has large ports already constructed that have gone empty for the past 3 years. The island more than meets your tide requirements. As for our airforce it is well stocked considdering the Sith military only has an army and airforce. Sargoth is a military installation always on standby littered with defences, your shipyards would be more than protected.

If you are worried about it being cut off the mainland, a new tunnel system has just been upgraded which links the island to the mainland allowing a constant stream of supplies freeing up more ports and dockyards. Removing the need to supply by ship. We look forward to hearing from you.

I thourght Sargoth Isle had 20 ft high cliffs?

Sargoth does have cliffs that tower above sea level however if you go back and read my posts it also has natural harbours and ports that have a slight gradient leading into the centre of the island. These were built to accomadate the Jordaxian fleet but since i have left the RIA as there imperialistic ambitions no longer suited my foreign policy I had to leave as well Jordaxia demanded it. But momanguise you are right a large proportion of the island is cliffs however we do have our large natural harbour clearly depicted upon my first description of the island.

Our Ministry of State feels that if you attack a third party, we should not be obligated to defend you from their reprisals. But of course we would still defend your holdings within the Republic.

If these terms are acceptable, you may begin construction of the facility within our coastal city of Rockport at your earliest convenience. Please contact our Secretary of Commerce for further information.

We can meet all of the above conditions. We had a shipyard specifically built to meet the requirements for a doujin. It was temporarily halted when you seemed to lose interest in the whole thing (or took it elsewhere), and has since been given to Soviet Bloc, a CAP ally. Perhaps you can buy it from him? It's the shipyard that it is on is the mountain isle just south east from the most south east inhabited isle. (the grey around several islands is artificial extension due to overpopulation.) Sorry I can't edit the map, or I'd draw a ring about it. Anyway. Contact Soviet Bloc to purchase it, or contact me and I'll start on a new isle. There are plenty of spare workers who would enjoy employment in your corporation.

OOC: Perhaps I should make that a little bit clearer, I didn't exactly word it the best, did I? I mean, that along with Doujin forces, defend Doujin interests that are within your nation. That's as far as it goes. We will also defend those interests when you come under fire, from anyone.

Those terms are acceptable to the Republic and you may begin construction of the necessary facilities at your convenience.

Gaia Rodina will never allow Doujin to build shipyards on Rodinan soil, and we urge other nations to do the same. We will use Rodinan land for Rodinan purposes, not to further the Doujinshi's economic and physical empire.
