NBC News: Austar Union to host International Conference

"Hello, and welcome to Anatoba LIVE. Im just recieving word that the President has announced that an international confererence is to be held in Anatoba. Now as you may know, Anatoba has been the center of many international events. Some of you may already be wondering, "What is this Conference about?"

Well my friends, I tell you that the one major problem that causes conflict and disruption to peace today, is the problem of Unchecked, and Unwarrented Aggression. Such a problem causes only fear, and intimidation. Its victims, are usually inncocent of its accusiations.

It is exactly this aggression, which we plan on talking about erradicating. Such aggression is a plauge to this earth, and must be keeped in order from running loose. That my friends, is what this conference is for.

We are now officially opening the planning list, and inviting nations and entire alliances from around the globe to this conference. The conference on Unchecked and Unwarrented Aggression will be held on May 18th 2004. We hope you can all attend."

Austar Union,

Tarqys wants DEARLY to participate. However, our Head of State is currently tied up with a diplomatic process in the Empire of Credonia. Nonetheless we still would like to give Tarqysian backing and support of this conference. If you allow, we would like to monitor the events or at least receive transcripts of the dialogue.

We hope this is feasible and if not, Tarqys wishes the conference and attendees the best regards and godspeed to peace and understanding through communication - the one truly precious commodity. We applaud the Austar Union for their acknowledgement of the need for such a summit.

First of all, Nanakaland owns all rights to NBC and MSNBC (I RPed purchase back in April of 2003 and I own the puppet nations NBC and MSNBC). You should be thankful that I don't strictly enforce my ownership. You can RP NBC, just don't try to claim it without a war.

The Democratic Republic of teh Ninja's wish to send Secretary of War George Steuben to the Conference. We await your decision.

In addition to the Empire of MMI and Democratic Republic of teh Ninja's, the Rogue Nation of Inyurface (R.N.I.) wishes to bolster the representation of the Alliance of Independent States (A.I.S.) by attending. Because R.N.I. believes that Unwarranted Aggression, especially that of UN members who apparently go unchecked by that organization, we will be sending a diplomatic corps led by none other than our Secretary of State, Dr. Jeck L. Hyde.

We at R.N.I. and the A.I.S. believe in peace. However, aggression is to be met with fierce reprisals, therefore unwarranted aggression leads only to greater bloodshed. This should be avoided at all costs, and this international conference is most definitely a step in the right direction on the path of peace. R.N.I. and the A.I.S. applaud that most esteemed nation of Austar Union for its courage, thoughtfulness, and commitment to peace.

I have no idea. EST isnt even my time zone, so...

I am planning to TG everyone. I have always considered it to be a standard practise will all my conferences.

I assume this meeting is for Modern/Near Modern tech nations? I'm future tech, but both I and my alliance, ESUS, are commited to peace.

Eastern Standard Time - thats America right? Well as us Brits are around 5 hours ahead of you, it should roughly equate to 2:00pm for us. I have lessons then, but from around 4:30 GMT I'll be around.

10. Powers of the Foreign Advisor

a)The Foreign Advisor will set the tariff rate against foreign products on a per-nation basis. If the tariff on a nation's goods is undecided by him, individual Accord members may decide it.

b)The Foreign Advisor will be in charge of the Accord's economic warfare operations

c)The Foreign Advisor will warn the Accord and it's President of possible threats to Accord Security.
