OOC: Since my first major RP, The beginning of a dream... , seemed to die without a proper conclusion I thought I would revive it. This RP takes place nearly 5 years after the initial encounter with Indra Prime, Arenumberg, and Spacer Guilds landed and established first contact with Schultaria Prime.

~This is open to all nations who wish to participate.

(The first rp, and the prologue to this RP)

IC:
-The Office of the Central Directorate, Schultaria Prime

In the streets, an impromptu parade had overtaken State Street in the capital. Nearly three hundred thousand revelers and patriotic citizens cheered in collective joy at the endless stream of floats and costumed marchers heading towards the National Assembly Building. Elliot, always curious, hobbled out of his chair and sat on a windowsill facing the celebrating crowd. Opening the large plate glass windows for a better view, some of the citizenry noticed his bemused face peering out over the crowd. Many of them, so excited by merely noticing his presence, began to shout to his window.

"There he is! Director, come and join us!"

"Give us a speech!"

"Three cheers for the greatest leader of them all!"

It had been five years to that fateful day when Schultaria Prime finally broke the bonds of the planet and established itself amongst the starts. Five years since meeting the great triumvirate of nations that changed Schultaria Prime's views about the universe.

In the short span of time since Schultaria's first endeavor in space, a new scientific revolution emerged. Five years ago Schultaria Prime was barely able to launch a craft the size of a beach ball into orbit, but now the demand for space technology was higher than ever before. The Schultarian Space Administration, once the pet project of the Central Director himself, had become Schultaria Prime's calling. Now, a constellation of satellites were orbiting the sky where only the Spaten once had dominion, but none of them had the same kind of impact as their universal ancestor.

"When will you come back to finish what you started?" thought Elliot, "So many things have happened since your departure, and to me. Who knows how long I can wait?"

"You want a speech? I'll give you a speech! Let it be known that on this, the fifth anniversary of Schultaria Prime's first contact, we shall place a Schultarian into orbit before this very day next year!"

The crowd cheered and celebrated to the Central Director's speech well into the night.

As the festivities down on the surface grew to a great fervor brilliant colors suddenly erupted in space above the nation of Schultaria Prime. Following the bright flashes, multicolored streaks could be seen with the naked eye from the surface, eminating from the bright flashes. While the people on the surface could not see the vessels that had emerged from hyperspace just with their own eyes, their probes and artificial satellites could detect something had entered orbit, as the vessels were not trying to mask their approach. However something strange was being recorded. Vessels of designs that have never been indentified by Shultaria Prime were entering a stable orbit around their planet. These mysterious vessels were all the color of the void between the stars with no visible running lights. If any EM beam was shined upon any of these vessels the EM would be absorbed into the skin of the vessel leaving absolutely no trace of an emission.

-Schultarian Space Research Headquarters, Schultaria Prime

In the wake of the last five years, Schultaria Prime had established a new research group within the upper echelons of the Schultarian Space Administration. Following the success of the Spaten and it's detection of such an advanced alien craft five years ago, the Schultarian National Assembly had drafted funding for the Extra solar Research Society. This was no temporary fixture in the Schultarian scientific community; rather, some of the greatest minds in Schultaria Prime volunteered for lifetime positions with little or no pay for the chance to investigate the Spaten incident.

They never thought such an event would occur again in their lifetimes...

As the small senate of twenty odd engineers, research scientists, biologists, philosophers, and other assorted professions gathered together a messenger rushed in to alert the head of the faculty.

"Madam, I've just got word from the Central Director that something 'big' has happened in the Capital outskirts," noted the page as he panted between sentences, "He said you won't believe what has happened."

"Well, out with it boy! What is this 'big' thing he's so worried about?"

"Turn on... to any news station... they're all covering it..."

One of the professors redirected the main projection screen from the presentation they were developing to the rear wall and turned on the state-run Hifex 24 hour news channel. What they saw both enticed and frightened the learned group. The reporter, in a large black overcoat and a dark dress suit stood at a respectable distance from what appeared to be the scene of the commotion.

"I'm here; live to the nation, in front of the small suburb of Hartmann just 12 kilometers outside of the city center of Schultaria Prime. What has happened here is... my god, I can't believe it! Jerry, focus behind me!"

As the camera pointed away from the reporter, seven mechanized figures rose from the city skyline, dwarfing the residential homes nearby. A crowd of people could be seen, placards from the "First Contact" Day celebration still in their hands, racing towards the ethereal vehicles. Overhead, the first air interceptor squadron could be seen patrolling the radius of the Capital, making sure that no other vehicles were in the area.
When the camera made a final pass to survey the scene, he reset his image back on the obviously excited field reporter.

"We have just got word from the Central Director Elliot Schultz that, 'In addition to what has just been spotted on the surface of Schultaria Prime, Mission Control in Eldaimovey has visually confirmed a large group of very advanced craft in geostationary orbit above national airspace. At this time there is nothing to be worried about, for we in the Central Directorate as well as the SSR shall do everything in our power to bring about amicable relations with these new visitors'."

In the conference room, the screen abruptly erupted into static; when the image was restored, it had redirected Elliot Schultz's personal office.

"Well, now that you've heard it on the news there's no sense in covering it up. It's too bad that they could not have the patience to wait until we were able to send up one of our own into space first," he began to pleasantly smile, "but just as well. Have half of your senate ready to head over to mission control with Director Damien, the rest of you will come with me and Director Covey to meet these visitors face to face. As for any military escort, FORGET IT. The fighter cover that we have will be sufficient for the time being. Get ready to rendezvous in the hour."

The nine vessels parked in geosynchronous orbit around Shultaria Prime watched the CorpSac "transformers" break stationary orbit and head down to the surface. The brand new IP Temporal Incursion Fleet, of which this small batallion of vessels belonged to, had decided that this nation showed promise in the practices Temporal Causality. So they sent their best, Colonel Shon Pacior to reinitiate contact with this world. On board the IPTS Monitor, Colonel Pacior broke his reverie with the forward holoscreen to survey his bridge and his crew. All fifteen primary bridge officers were at their stations and were all decked out in their finest Dress Uniforms. Today was a very important day of relations between the nations below and above. The bridge of the Monitor was very pleasing to the eye to say the least. Every single surface appeared to flow into one another while at the same time managed to have a hardened battle ready look to them. Holographic displays in colors that were unimaginable 25 years ago even in Indra Prime's standards. Holography had advanced to the point in the Indra Prime Civilization where the Monitor was staffed with crew mixed of humanoids, non-humanoids, and most spectacularly, holographic crewmembers with sentient AI personas. The Monitor was a good sized ship, measuring out just over nine kilometers and was staffed with only 750 flesh and blood crewbeings. The incredibly advanced network of holographic AIs were the rest of the ships capacity. With the significant lower numbers of actual crewmen more vessels could now be constructed and staffed with the newly developed AIs.

Colonel Pacior broke out of another reverie when an alarm beeped at a nearby console. He sttod up and streched his legs, thinking about what was getting ready to occur. He will be on his feet a good portion of the day. He summoned Moni from her niche in the data processor. An avatar appeared in front of the Colonel in Full Dress to match the condition of the crew.

"Moni, Set a course to enter the planet's atmosphere. Take the vessel low over the capital so they can get a look at us. Make it nice and slow. Are the Sensor Recording Disablers online? I dont want anyone getting a scan of our vessels and being able to record it."

With the precise vocal intonation of a computermade figure, Moni responded immediately.

"SRDs are active and scrambling. No vessel or recording device will be able to record our appearance. They will be able to see our vessels but not record anything about them."

"Excellent. You may begin our decent into the atmosphere. Contact the Defiant, Remorseless, and the Aeon and have them follow."

"Executing."

As smooth as Alabasterian Silk, the Monitor changed her angle with relation to the planet's surface and began to dive into the atmosphere. The Temporal Ships Defiant, Remorseless, and Aeon immediately followed suit and pulled into a diamond formation behind the Monitor. All four vessels were constructed out of the same materials so they all appeared to have the same basic features but the three vessels following the Monitor were a mere six kilometers long. They took a course that would take them directly across the capital of Schultaria Prime.

-Merle Mall, Schultaria Prime

The hastily assembled group of 10 professors and dignitaries assembled at the end of the long grassy hill in the center of Schultaria Prime. Arriving without escort, as per the directive of Central Director Schultz, they arrived in three unmarked government sedans. While some of them tried to engage in idle conversation, the rest were surveying the surrounding streets. For the first time since the capital was founded, the city center was silent. The normal stampede of several million would be common at this time in the afternoon, but there was not a soul to be had within 5 kilometers of the city proper.

"Well, what do you make of it?" said one of the research group.

"Honestly, I couldn't be happier that they came. However, I do think that crowd control will be impossible with the numbers that are to be expected around 'Ground Zero'." chimed another.

"Very true, but we must consider that what we do, we do for the people," a voice chimed from the crest of the hill.

Elliot stood at the top of the hill where his grandfather had proclaimed victory for the Schultarian people over 70 years ago. The group stood in stunned amazement at his fortitude; very few people had seen Elliot out in public, let alone standing anymore. Following his concussion after the fateful meeting with the representatives of Arenumberg and Indra Prime 5 years previous, Elliot suffered a severe stroke. Though it did not alter his mental faculties in any sort, it caused irreversible harm to his gross motor skills. In time his upper body recovered, but his legs never regained their strength; however, even supported by a cane in each hand, Elliot stood tall and proud as we hobbled down the steps of a nearby sidewalk.

"Hey, just be glad that my heart didn't pop. Then all of you would be in state mourning; and, oh, you might be out a job too," Schultz said as he limped down the concrete steps, "Well, would you look at that!"

The crowd of academics strained against the sun as they looked heavenward. To their amazement, 4 utterly massive ships hovered in a straight line over the mall, heading in the general direction of where the foreign mechanoids had landed.

Mere words could not capture the immensity of these vessels; even the smallest one laid from end to end cast a shadow on a third of the entire capital, and the capital was by far the largest metropolitan area in the entire country. As they began to drift away from the city center, the group of confused scientists began to call out to the director.

"Well, wha.. What in the hell was that!"

Elliot smiled, "It's been a long time, but I know I'll be pleased to meet them. Everyone, get in your cars; we're heading to Eldaimovey."

"Why sir? Don't we already have a team heading there right now?"

"Trust me, it's the only place in ALL of Schultaria Prime that could handle these 6 thousand meter ships. I'll notify Director Damien to report to the situation outside of Hartmann."

As the vessels slowly drifted over the capital, the entire bridge crew watched on the main holoscreen the reactions of the native inhabitants of their arrival. People were running on foot, with small conveyance vehicles and cars to get to the location where the task force was to set down. The Indra Prime Vessels reached the area before any one could arrive but instead of landing, they all turned and positioned themselves in a matter that would be the most visible. Two of the three six kilometer ships positioned themselves stem to stern while the third positioned itelf with its midships at the point where the stern of the front ship ended and the bow of the rear ship began. The Monitor positioned itself perpendicular to the arrangement so the layout looked like a giant capped T 13km long and 12km wide. They waited to set down to allow for the arrival of the Directors that had facilitated the first initial contact with Indra Prime a fabulous first hand show.

OOC: Can I join in? I'm at war with Indra Prime, so you might see some nice fireworks...

IC: Space - Just above Schultaria Prime

"Sir, this is where the Indra Prime ships have stopped." a Lt. said over the din of the Bridge. Liquidus Snake, one of the most Ruthless Overlords in Space, grinned his trademark grin. He shifted in his seat to get comfortable, and then keyed in a few commands on he Console nearest. He then looked up. "Okay Lt., Bays 1-4 are open, you may launch our new Gunships." he ordered. The Lt. nodded, and turned to the Console infront of him.

After a minute, the View-Screen switched to eight Medium Sized, but Very fast ships leaving the Robin's Hangar, and descending downwards to Schultaria Prime. "Indra, you will never escape my wrath. Spending all your time upgrading Civilisations! It cannot be left to continue! I hope the destruction of your ships will make you notice that we care for the integrity of other Civilisations..." he said to no-one. Just up ahead, the eight ships were seen as fireballs of Crimson entering the atmosphere. After a few seconds they were gone, and Liquidus grinned. "It has begun..."

OOC: umm OHMKII, you need to be real careful about what you do and say. You just cannot randomly call out the losses for another nation. Its rude. not only that, but if you and I were to go to war, there is no chance you would win. My nation is almost a full Real Life Year older than you, well, more like nine months. I would be careful if I were you so I would not get a bad rep in RPing. I don't mind being in a war against you but you need to be aware that my nation is a great deal larger with an pool of resources a great deal larger than one you possess. And just FYI, the Temporal Incusion Fleet, of which this flotilla is apart of, is super secret and is equipped with the absolutely most cutting edge Technology out in the great void of space. You would not be able to detect who is in these vessels, as there are NO markings whatsoever to be able to determine it is ours. You had better come up with a damn good explanation how you ID'd this vessel.

IC:
On board the Indra Prime Temporal Ship Causalitty

"What the Hell?! Sir, you need to see this."

Colonel Sjoen Rifkin stood up from his command post and walked over to the communication officers panel. He leaned over her shoulder to see the message that had been transmitted over subspace to the vessels general vicinity.

"Damn, that Liquidus just does not know when to lie down and die! Defeat after defeat and he still doesn't get the message. Order the Fleet to engage Quantum Cloaks. Authorization code Rifkin Red Six Six Two Niner Gamma Gamma Kappa. Authorization Level Ten. Initiate Quantum Cloaking Device with Level 6 EM release."

"Cloak Engaging."

A flash resembling a level 10 supernova eminated from the Indra Prime vessels and within a second, the vessels were just not there. There was absolutely NO way to detect the vessels that moved around to flank the enemy vessels.

OOC: I haven't stated any losses at all. And Indra, only a few of your ships are at Schulatia Prime. I'd also be careful about what you do. I mean, you're always acting like you're on top of everything. I know alot of Nations that are older than you Indra, and they dont boast as much as you do. So while I am happy to continue with this RP, all I can say is be careful too. But, I take heed to your words...

IC: The crowds looked up to see eight fireballs coming down from the sky. At first it looked like they were dropping, but then they rose at a tremendous speed. After a few move arounds the fireballs started to head for the Indra Prime Vessels. Within a few seconds, the fireballs started to sub-side, and out the Gunships came, firing their Beam Cannons at Indra's ships...

The Metal gear Robin, holds Fifty Gunships and about 1000 Fighters. All Vessels are armed, and have Sub-Space cloaks. Also, this is an RP war Indra, and I remember beating you once.

IC: "Sir! The Vessels are gone!" a disgruntled Crewmember shouted. The Captain of the lead gunship checked the Sensors. "Fine, if Indra wants to play hide and seek, heavy weaponry style, let him do so. Order all Gunships to fire randomly, even on the ground and at buildings. If we don't hit Indra, we'll hit their ally..." he finsihed. And with that, the Eight Beam Cannons on every Gunship fired randomly, hitting buildings, the ground, and nothing. The Flak Cannons on the Gunships started to fire as well, sending Flak everywhere, again, hitting buildings, the ground, and nothing...

The Causality decloaked with absolutely no distortion interval. It simply was there in front of the Outer Heaven Vessel.

"Attention Outer Heaven Vessel. Before you decide to engage an Indra Prime Temporal Incursion Vessel be warned. The Four vessels down on the surface are on the surface under an interstellar flag of truce recognized by the Trilox Accord. Any attack against Schultaria Prime or any vessels on the surface will result in the complete destruction of your vessels and any survivors that may last through the retaliation. The past five years of conflict with your nation should have sparked some hint, you do not want to provoke us. You have never gone against a vessel of this class. This vessel more firepower than six Phaeralon class vessels. This is your only warning. This system is a no weapons zone. If a firefight ensues, I can assure you that a fleet of ships can be here in a very short time. You saw the way the Shivans were dealt with. Again be very careful. Causality out."

"Arrving in Schultaria Prime space now, Commodore," quipped an aide. Runes flickered in the dim light on the bridge of the Imparitus, a Penguenian Executioner Class Dreadnought.

Smoke hung around the commodore's chair, it smelled sweet... like Penguenian oak, "Bring the fleet to a hold, Captain, and inform the delegation to prepare for shuttle to the surface." Commodore England was a stern, handsome man in his late sixties, never present without his trademark cigar, "and inform our allies of Indra Prime that Emperor Raziel has confirmed their request and we have arrived." He pressed a button on his chair. "Schultarian Control, this is Commodore Timothy England of Penguenia. Our Emperor has decreed it that we escort a delegation to congradulate, and revil with you over your 5th year anniversary. The delegation will be shuttling down shortly."

A few moments went by.

"Confirmed, Commodore, we thank you and are informed of the delegation's arrival. You may proceed."

---------------

Governor Ispats and his delegation glided down on the little shuttle through the Schultarian atmophere. They bore gifts and trinkets for the Schultarian leaders, as was Penguenian custom when they visited someone. Down, down through the clouds, over the beautiful landscape.

"Well, this occasion is quite the strange one," commented one of the delegates nonchalantly. "Seems there are alterior motives," another chuckled, "Yes indeed!"

The shuttle was silent for the rest of the journey towards the capital.

----------------

The stern commodore recited what had been ordered to him, "We come with two Dreadnoughts, ten cruisers, and thirty destroyers. The Emperor has ordered that I share command of the strike fleet with allied command, and I will oblige him." A slender man stared back at him over the vid link, "Very well, commodore, stay your current position until new orders come down the line."

-Mission Command and Control, Eldaimovey

Toamr Orrow stood above the din of activity in the "trench" of Schultaria Prime's mission control, satisfied in returning to his roots. The last five years had been a wonderful boon for Schultaria Prime, and the space program was now the pride and joy of the nation. Where once aging consoles and bulky computers sat, a streamlined and efficient team of engineers and console operators had developed a new and highly sophisticated mission control. Of course, he was no longer an active part of the ground crew any more.

Following the success of the Spaten the former flight director was promoted from leading missions to leading the department in less than two years, but he never strayed far from his roots. Even though his job meant little more than delegation and rubber stamping edicts, he always had the time to be involved with the department. He was too much of an explorer and engineer to be kept in the dark for long, and he made sure to personally help out where ever possible. As he headed for his office, satisfied that his team was handling the situation, a shrill alarm pierced the air.

"General Alert! General Alert! Weapons fire detected on the outskirts of the complex, all stations please report. All stations please report!"

"This is the Head Director, Toamr Orrow. I request to know why this alarm has gone off! You've scared the people half to death over here; everyone knows that this drill isn't supposed to occur for another two weeks!"

"Sir, I'd suggest you activate your runway cameras to take a better look at what has just happened. I'll note that the mission control building is secure also."

Switching the main consoles to the runway complex, the ground crew knew full well that this was no drill. A group of 75,000 roiled in a chaotic mass as a group of unknown fighters began peppering the ground with what appeared to be massive energy beams and high speed metal shot. With apparently no direction the fighters opened on the crowd; the force of the energy left no trace of any survivors or, for that matter, any remains. Only long streaks of white hot flame and several 5 meter craters dotted the scene of celebration.

As the remnants of the well wishers began to flee the scene, the fourth strategic fighter wave could be spotted on radar just outside the base.

"Mr. Orrow sir, the SDF has notified me that fighter cover is now underway. It looks like this threat is for real sir, they've scrambled the 4th tac wing to intercept; 50 craft have been scrambled, ETA 10 minutes and closing."

"I hope they get here in time. Flight Director, get these men underground! We've got a dangerous situation on our hands!" Orrow barked out at the already anxiety-prone flight director.

"Sure, I'll do that, but who's going to watch that monster on pad three!"

Orrow had completely forgotten the reason he had come down to meet with mission control, but the main viewer reminded him. On pad three, amidst the intense fighting and chaos, stood a Schultarian Proketsan rocket, fully fueled and prepared for launch. With the craft making progressive sweeps across the complex, Orrow knew it was a matter of time before they started targeting Schultarian equipment. "Everyone, abandon in place! Get underground immediately; any refusal will be treated as subordination! Move it!"

"Four kilotons," Orrow recited to himself, "if that rocket blows up we won't have much of a space program anymore."

Meanwhile, we'll start the Orbital Attack..." he finished. "Aye sir!" the Captain shouted. And with that, Liquidus shut off the Comm. He then turned to the other crew members on the Bridge. "Indra has obviously forgotten that we've advanced since the Shivan Debacle. Initiate our GaWk Beam Cannon, fire at the landed ships. If we take those out, we'll put a point through to Indra!" he shouted. All the other members cheered, and then they got to work...

The Beak on the Robin opened, and a huge Orb of Energy was present. After a few seconds, a large 'chow' sound was heard, and the Orb turned into a large beam of flourescent Yellow. It headed down to the Planet, and hit the surface...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, the Commanding Gunship had slipped away unnoticed. After a few seconds of flying, the cloak dis-engaged, and the Rocket came up to the Gunship VERY fast. Just as it looked like the Ship was going to hit the Rocket, it pulled up, and fired it's Beam Cannons, ripping through the Rockets hull. The Gunship started to head for space VERY fast...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hundreds of people looked up to see a Second Sun light up brightly. After a second it looked like it had dissapeared, but then, faster than light, a beam of Flourescent Yellow Light came down from the sky, and went right into the Indra Prime's ships...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"mmm.....the Darkness informs me that an outer heven ship has attacked" the short mage sead "oh and the Mothership is here as well as the escorts"
"well we cant leave mmm....tell the Valkiyres to turn to battoid mode, we're goin to explore that big city there" he points at the capital "there interesting buildings and we might get someone to speak to"
the Valkiyres transformed into a Humanoid Mecha, and moved with the Technomages towards the capital.

A massive Hyperspace jump point open and out came the Crow-sig exited as well as a Destroyer (tigerclaw class), a carrier (Skull class), a dreadnought (manson Class), 5 She'Klan Corvettes and 8 Loki CLass Frigates.

the escorting ships moved round the Mothership, the massive ship started to transfrom in to a humanoid figure at a haight of 18Km. fighters left (Firewing X and Valkiyre of all class) moving in for the Outer heven ship.
"Outer Heaven ships your attacking a planet under the protection of the Dark Empire as well as other empires, you have 3 seconds to leave befor we open fire if you are not gone by this time prepare to be bordered" came over the comm.

-------
it had been 5 years since the first tigerclaw Class destroyer entered the area, during the Dark Age of the empire. since then the empire decided that the planet show promiss so the pass the law declareing the planet under the protection of the empire, they would not interfere in the planets process or any first contacts by other space empire but it would get involed if the planet was under threat as it seemed it was now, by outer heaven and the threat had to be delt with.

The commodore sat watching the Outer Heaven fleet. It's suprisingly massive ships for a country of it's size unnerved him, but if it came to it, the more aglie Penguenian strike ships would outmanovre them... he was sure of it. Around him the deck crew was scurrying around in the dim light. Ensign Resem, the commodore's senoir aide, as marked by his maroon lanyard around his left shoulder, calmly walked to the commodore's chair.

"Commodore," he whispered, "this is an order from the Emperor. He decrees you read it on an open channel to the Outer Heaven commander." A few moments passed. The commodore quickly read through the order. "Very well, open me a channel, Ensign. Dismissed."

Open Channel aa423oz*1

"Ships of Outer Heaven, it has been decreed by my Emperor, in the name of Penguenia and the Indra-Peng pact, that you stand down from your current course of action. While your ships may be bigger, and appear more mighty, they will fall if you continue to involve the innocent planet-nation of Schultaria Prime. Though we Penguenians relish in the glory of battle, and enjoy pain being brought upon our enemies, we do not condone the inclusion of an innocent defenceless state in a quarrel between our ally and heathens of your kind." The commodore paused, "Further inclusion of this state in your war will result in full destruction of your fleet here, and, if necessary, further retaliation by the Empire of Penguenia. We look forward to your responce by words or weapons."

--------------------------

The stern commodore thought over the situation, "Put the fleet here on full alert, captain, and make ready the marines for possible boarding or planetdrop." The captain obliged. Commodore England hoped to himself that it came to war... for war is what Penguenians lived for, and more importantly died for.

OOC: obviously Outer can't respond for a while, but that's ok. You may still shoot eachother all you want, but Schultaria Prime should not be harmed for having relations with Indra, unless he wants otherwise, then he can. As the fighters bombarded the surface with bolts from their vessels they failed to notice the power buildup in vessels that had approached the surface. A translucent cerulean energy field began to expand from the center of the vessels and quickly expanded to encompass the four Indra Prime Vessels on the surface, then the area immediately surrounding the vessels, til even the entire capital of Schultaria Prime was covered by the energy field. The field kept expanding until it completely engulfed the entire planet. From the four Indra Prime Vessels on the surface, they were projecting a high energy forcefield that was able to withstand anything the enemy threw in their direction. Not even fighters could get in the field to attack the Indra Prime Vessels or her Allies. As soon as the energy shield was deployed, the four vessels finally commenced landing procedures. Giant landing struts extricated themselves from the underside of the craft and locked into position as the ships settled down upon them. Now the business of repairing the damage caused by the initial attack can be taken care of in relative peace.

In orbit the Causality along with the four other vessels of the Indra Prime Temporal Incursion Fleet fired off a message to the Temporal Incursion classified Headquarters in the Cone Nebula by means of UHF modulated subspace pulse beam. It was not the most concealable form of communcation but it was the one with the heaviest encryption. The signal would be detectable by any vessel for up to 50,000,000 km and then it would reach speeds and modulation that would render any interception impossible. The message was simple. "Liquidus has arrived. Phase one is complete. Reqest the initiation of Phase two. Launch the Fleet. Security Code Alpha Zulu six eight niner." The communication beam would pass relatively close to the enemy vessels but in the time it took them to trace the location of the origination of the message, they would be gone from that spot. They could attempt to track the message but they would lose the trail at the 50,000,000 km mark. They could get an idea that a major Indra Prime Installation was in that direction but they would not know how far the message actually went.

OOC: just for reference (not for strategy), we do not really play with time per se. Our technology is temporal based and we can manipulate time as a weapon. However, we do not make a habit of twisting the timeline into a pretzel. But with the introduction of our classified Temporal Incursion Fleet you will be seeing some special temporal manipulation. Indra Prime is the single most advanced nation in Temporal research so the technology that is displayed will be incredible. Just be prepared for a wild ride.

Don't worry, along with the technology came with the knowledge of how to properly use this technology. We are a group that knows the dangers of this technology and have become a guardian of sorts for this galaxy to prevent this technology from falling into the wrong hands. That is the basis for the conflict between us and the Outer Heaven nation. They attempted to use a primitive form of this technology and we stopped them from finishing their development of the technology. They have held a grudge against us ever since.

-Mission Command and Control, Eldaimovey

As the gunships made successive passes around the launch gantries of the main pad complex, a full army of technicians and engineers were working to secure their newest project. All of them were worried about the possibility of explosion, and many of them knew full well the fury encapsulated within the thin titanium skin of these 60 meter vessels. When the general alarm sounded, the launch crew, instinctively, began to furiously drain the rocket of its volatile contents. However, even the best and bravest eforts of the launch crew could not stop the inevitable.

Six seconds... 60 million liters of pure oxygen and ethanol...

When the gunship made its first and only pass, the damage sustained to the Proketsan was critical. First a trickle of fire, then a voluminous crack and then, nothing... White light cast its sharp and piercing brightness to anyone who was unfortunate to stare directly at the rocket. Though powerful enough to blind those closest to the explosion, they would not have to suffer for very long.

Everyone who was close enough to feel the first hand effects of the explosion would not survive to recount them. All of the safety procedures were for naught as the launch gantries, vehicle assembly buildings, conference rooms, and control centers were leveled instantaneously. The remaining structures, those that were not immediately leveled by the explosion, were almost immediately consumed by the fires of the aftermath; what once was the greatest technical achievement had become the grounds of a holocaust. Girders were torn from their foundations, reinforced bunkers collapsed, and the first unfortunate members of the 4th tactical wing who arrived early enough to witness the explosion were thrown from the sky by the hands of this ungodly power.

As the Central Director's short motorcade was abruptly halted by the appearance of three large mechanoids lumbering towards their position, a message came to Elliot's personal tablet computer.

The Monitor slowly sank down towards the ground while maintaining perfect coordination with the other three Indra Prime Vessels as if the beings in control of the vessels were artificial and in fact the were sentient AIs. As soon as the fully extended landing struts touched down on the smooth flat field, hydraulic pressure began to squeeze out of the landing struts to compensate for the pressure on the struts. As smooth as silk, the craft finished their landing procedures and were finally resting on the field with the crackling energy field above them. The Void Black Spaceships made for an interesting contrasting image with the nature and brightly colored structures of the capital that were in the distance. A bright light eminated from just below the bow of the vessel and grew to an incredible intensity and then dissappeared as suddenly as it had appeared. In its place was a delegation of people in startling white Dress Uniforms. As soon as they materialized beneath the ship the man in the vanguard of the delegation looked around with the sharp concise actions of a dedicated military officer. The fourteen others behind him in triangle formation kept their eyes front and center the way a crack military outfit would behave. As soon as the Colonel saw his target and began to take a step in the Director's direction, the officers behind him fell into step and followed him to meet the Director that had initiated first contact five years ago. When they reached Schultz they stopped.

"Director Eliot Schultz, I am Colonel Shon Pacior of the Indra Prime Temporal Incursion Vessel Monitor. I bring you the greetings and well wishes from the Indra Prime Senior Directorate. I know this was not the kind of celebration you were looking forward to but I wanted to let you know that we are here to help protect your homeland. The shield you see directly above your head is being projected by the vessels you see behind me. It will be able to protect your entire planet from any attack. We have been authorized to do two things. One, to help your nations research and development programs and, two, to help your nation's burdgeoning space program. Hopefully our assistance will be able to speed up your dive into deep space. And finally to offer you a spot in an alliance that has grown to encompass thousands of lightyears. We hope you'll accept. We will be willing to give your scientists a guided tour of one of our vessels that will be arriving within 24 hours. That is if youre interested."

A heavily cloaked scoutship picked up on something. It was barely detectable, due to the fact that it occured on a planet rather than in space, but it was just big enough to register as a blip on the sensor readouts.

Large numbers of ships were also in the vicinity, but that should not be the problem. Where the Dominion vessels were outgunned, stealth was on their side. They have been doing this for a long time, after all, and their cloaking devices were far more advanced than most others.

And so the scoutship altered course to investigate.

OOC: Guys I'm back! Anyway, I am attacking Indra Prime only, I do not want to harm Civilians. However, I consider helping a Nation very new to Space Travel very bad because they shouldn't advance so quickly. And Indra, I tire of this. I just hope you learnt that my Nation is one of the fore-most experts on Sub-Space manipulation there is...

IC: Liquidus shook his head as the seemingly pure energy beam washed over Indra's shields and not do any damage. Since the war had started, Liquidus had pitted everything towards the wellbeing of civilians, and Military funding and research. Beacuse of that, Liquidus had developed many new Sub-Space/Time weapons, some Indra didn't even know about of have, thanks to the fact that OH had recovered most of the Shivan technology in the first place. Liquidus tapped a few commands into the Console nearest, and then something very strange happend...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A small Portal formed inside Indra's shield, and something with the consistency of heated air, looking like a star from the sky magnified, dropped out and onto one of the ships. It spread very fast over the top of the ship, and then stopped. Then, with something sounding like a pop, a creak was then heard, and the ship suddenly crushed in on itself, and the middle came up like a volcano. A large ball of super heated fire launched itself out, and blew up on the inside of the shield...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liquidus watched as the shield started to falter, and then grinned. He tapped into the Comm., "Gunships 4, 7 and 3, begin arding the shielding with flak, while sweeping the shielding with your Beam Cannons. Squadrons 2 and 3, move in and launch your temporal torpedoes just behind the beams. If your torpedoes get through, continue your attack. Remember, we want to hit Indra only, not Civilians. Everyone else, continue as ordered." he finished. He recieved a flurry of "Affirmatives", and then grinned as his plan came into action...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Gunships had already posistioned themselves as ordered, and with a loud thunderclap, Flak started to launch itself at the shielding while Beams sliced across the shielding in a random spread. The fighters came up from behind the Gunships, and launched their torpedoes just Aft of every beam. The fighters came up just over the shielding, and watched as the shields hit the shields...

...or rather, half of them. The other half passed through the shields, and hit an Indra Cruiser, sending blue fireballs and hull out of the areas hit. The shock from the torpedoes themselves took their toll on the ground, as Tarmac, pavements, plants and trees were uprouted and thrown in the direction the shockwave hit...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liquidus grinned as he watched his first Phase of the attack succedde. He keyed into the Comm., "Well done all of you, continue your attack in the same Fashion. Continue until ordered otherwise..." he finished. He keyed out the Comm., and sat back, relishing the moment...

hehe u didnt look at the Sheilding specs, theres 3 different sheilds (particle shields x3,energy/ray shield x3,Hard Shields x 3) but only one of layer of each is up at a time (eg 1 PS 1 E/RS and 1 HS) and the armor is Endor Crystal mesh heres the specs on that:
Advantages:
Reflects 17% of Beam Weapons
Absorbs 8% of energy weapons
2x stronger then Endor (endor is 3x stronger then any earth based metal)
High melting point
Disadvantages:
3x heavier then earth based metals
Takes 8% more damage from projectile weapons
Hard to graft onto armour
Ships need to use more power when within a Gravity field

and is 30-35 meters think also Struture is Endor Steel:
Advantages:
3x stronger then any Earth Metal
13% less damage from most Projectile weapons
High melting point
Disadvantages:
3x heavier then earth metals
Ships need to use more power when within a Gravity field

"I want all of you to return to the vehicles; join up with Directors Covey and Damien," Elliot said to his diplomatic party in a rapid dialect of Schultarian, "Something absolutely terrible has happened to the SSR Center and I want you to help assess the damage. My personal car will stay."

The sorted individuals retreated quickly to their cars, all of them obviously worried about the Central Director's judgment. Unflinchingly, he motioned for the cars to pass with all available speed. While he knew that his advisors might think him crazy, he also realized that Schultaria Prime faced a far greater danger than had ever come before. As the motorcade made its way out of the city proper Elliot hunched over, sighing as he placed his weight on the cane in his right hand, and looked directly at the Indra Prime and CorpSac delegations. His body, already aged by political pressure and the notoriously poor Schultz family circulatory system, appeared on the point of total failure. Nonetheless, in typical Schultarian pride, he grasped the hands of the respective delegates firmly and addressed them as equals.

"I'm glad that at least some people still think diplomacy is the better option," Schultz said, putting ever more bodily force on his cane, "I thank both of you for coming down to visit our nation; this is truly an honor despite the circumstances. Forgive my diplomatic party, I've dispatched them to help Directors Covey and Damien; they... were at Eldaimovey but are secure for the time being. I just want to make sure that we have a full and commanding presence over... I... I'm sorry"

Overwhelmed by the stresses of his position in life and the tragedy unfolding around him, Elliot stumbled onto the curb and buried his face in his arms, driven to the point of tears. He began to shake is head slowly as he pulled out his data tablet, paging through the incessant reports of death and destruction.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think we will be in a position to discuss our space program, or our national research efforts, for the time being. You see, High Priest Ordan and Colonel Pacior, Eldaimovey was not only the center of the Schultarian Space Program, but... the only location of our most advanced research labs," Elliot's face began to show intense sadness as tears welled up in his eyes, "Even if these reports are only half true," as he points to his data tablet, "This heartless attack set back the whole of Schultarian science 20 years at the least. My god... There's a good chance no one survived," his voice began to trail off, " half of the brightest and most talented minds in the nation, and two trillion dollars of investment and construction, wiped out forever..."

The Robin re-posistioned itself inside the remaining ships, and then it sent out a somewhat trivial order to the Gunships trapped beneath...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Gunships recieved their somewhat trivial order, and after attempting to re-read it twice, the Captain nodded to his crew. "Okay people, at the moment we are stuck inside Indra's Planetary shield. We are trapped. Our orders are to now sweep...", the Captain checked the name, "...Eldaimovey. If we find any survivors, we will Poral them up and keep them Hostage. Those are our orders at the moment." he finished. with a few nods, the Captain turned around...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few mintues later, the Six Gunships sped around the site, looking for survivors. Their scanners went across the site again and again, looking for surivivors, after nearly four hours, they nearly stopped, until they picked up two lifeforms on their sensors. They sped over to where they detected something, and found two Schulatarians half covered in ash. Two blade like beams shot down to the ground, and the flat sides turned to the survivors, and went over them, making them dissapear...

...And reappear inside the Brig of the Gunship. Once the Portaling had been completed, the Gunships raised themselves, and shot off into the distance, following their sequence of orders...

Colonel Pacior waited until Director Schultz had finished giving out his information, he spoke up to bring some new information to the Director's Knowledge. He turned to acknowledge a young woman who looked to be in her early thirties

"Director Schultz, this is Major Collene Juurgen, the Cheif Medical Officer of the Monitor. She has an offer for you. Major."

Major Juurgen stepped out from behind her commander and came within a few feet of the Director.

"Director Schultz, it is an honor to meet you. I have been briefed on your condition and was asked to join this mission to extend an offer to you. We have a device on board the Monitor that would be able to completely regenerate any dangerous medical problems that you have incurred over the past years of your life. This device we call a sarcophagus, will make all your ailments dissapear. There are no sideeffects to this device."

Here the Colonel stepped in and interjected in the conversation to bring more information to the table.

"Director, we have seen the massive losses your nation has procurred in this recent attack on your nation and we are here to offer you some assistance. Along with the sarcophagus technology we have brought with us, we will help you rebuild your space development technology with tech culled from our labs. We will help you develop your programs till youre at a sufficient level to work with us. In order to show our good intentions, we ask you to join us on board the Monitor so we can show you this technology we offer to heal you with."

They started to then arc up and do a loop-de-loop, and then head towards space. The Captain on the bridge, sent a message of hope to the Indrans: "Indra Prime Vessels, this is Captain Schulatz of the Fang Gunship Viper. Under the orders of our Lord, we are leaving the Planet, with our weapons powered down. Our Lord also requests your presence, at a Peace negotiation. Please respond as soon as possible. Schulatz out." he finished. And with their weapons powered down, the six gunships breached the shield, and headed back towards the Robin...

As the vessels exited the atmosphere, five Indra Prime vessels decloaked in front of the Outer Heaven lead vessel, in a Regulan Diamond Formation. Each Vessel was at the highest alert, just seconds away from full military alert. They were poised to respond to any sort of aggression.

"Viper, This is the Indra Prime Temporal Ship Relativity. We have recieved your communique and are willing to discuss this. Send your delegation on an unarmed transport over to the Relativity so we can discuss this matter further. Relativity out."

The Mothership had finished transfroming, it with the escorts move towards the planet, the out of the fighters 140 only 29 returned.
"open a comm with the unknown ships (Indra) fleet" the admiral sead
"comm open" she replyed
"unknown ships, we have a few important people on the planet, we see that you intentions are noble but we request that we can send down Valkyries to make shore that the people in question are safe as well as the planet populas, we wish to know if we can with that sheild around the planet" the admiral sead the telling the comm officer to cut ithe channel, it was incrypted so that only the targeted ships would get it anyone one elce would take years decrpyting it (trust me it would).

the ships made standard orbit around the planet, with a sacure channel back to DESC high command, they were sending a Battle fleet to the outskirts of the system incase another shooting war started with OHMKII.

planetside the technomagi spoke with out noitceing anyone elce wanting to speak right after what the Colonel finished.
"really you have such a thing to cure anything with out any sideeffects? wow we have something like that but its more biological, its a small paracite that is enjected into the host, it then traval to the brain and effects the systems defences makeing you imune to most natrul things and in some cases slow the ageing process but thats in about 0.5% of people who use it, te paracite then dies after about a year or two most people dont have sideeffects tho some become dependent on them for there imune system but thats easy to fix, intersting we would love to see such a thing" the High preist stoped to take a breath "we to came to offer our services mainy in FTL traval tho we're not goin to give you the tech but make a Hyperspace Jumpgate in orbit around your planet and allow you free use of it, tho admitaly you could only explore things in in the gate system but we can lend you ships crewed by our people to take your researchers and so on to other planets and bring them back, it also would allow you to resarch how hyperspace jump points are opened" he looked round at at the buildings "interesting...oh yes also we wish to ask if your nation would want to under Full protection of the Empire, dont get me wrong you wont be part of the empire just protected meaning we would put a few Anti Orbital guns on your planet and outside the system an outpost and troops but they would be under your control, not the outpost the guns and troops this is at no cost at all, we also wish to know if you want Cloneing tech its useful for clone organs and such" he looked round and notice peoples faces "oh sorry maby this should be done in proper talks" he gave a weak smile, technomages were not the best at Nagotations or public relations "ohh" he sead looking at a data tab "i must ask if me and my comrades can use a private room its time for our Prairs(sp?)" he sead bowing his head.

"call unknown ships stop them dam Outer Heaven ships the have kidnaped Survivors from the Schultaria base i repeat they have kdnaped Schultraia personal" one of the pilots sead over the comm to the Indra ships "we're not shore if we can go though that sheild and wont risk it" the pilot also reported it to the DESC ships.

Elliot struggled to stand from the curb to point out a suitable building for the Technomagi to practice their worship. Weakened from his stroke five years ago, the normally simple task of walking had been reduced to the speed of crawling; Elliot, even under the best of spirits, found it demeaning and disheartening to believe that he nearly died from hitting his head on that conference table so many years ago. "How am I supposed to be the symbol of the strength and prosperity of my family's good name when I can barely move? Why do I even try anymore?"

"You may say your prayers and perform your liturgy at the building at the end of the square," said Elliot pointing at an impressive and very expansive Gothic cathedral, "There shouldn't be any events taking place at the present moment, so it'll grant you the privacy you desire. I hope that this is acceptable for you."

While the CorpSac Technomagi began to discuss the merits of this proposal, Elliot began to divert his gaze between both the Indra delegation and his data tablet. Even though he was barely past 50 years of age, the stress of 30 years of office had taken its toll on his body. The last thing Elliot wanted to worry about in his life was another severe civil crisis; now, less than 24 hours after his triumphant speech to the celebrating crowd of well wishers, he stood at the center of a broken country.

Everything that Elliot had tried to foster during his terms in office was embodied with the creation of Eldaimovey. For many in the country, it represented the greatness and strength of Schultarian technological might and independence from foreign influences; to Elliot, it was the only thing that kept him happy as a person. "... feared destroyed. My god, why now?"

Picking up his head, he wiped away a small stream of tears for his eyes and addressed the Colonel Pacior and Major Juurgen in a voice even he had not heard since his father died some 10 years earlier. "I appreciate... this kind gesture, but I feel... (softly crying) that it would be too selfish of me to utilize your medical technology when so many of my best people have died a needless death at the hands of an apparently selfish and uncaring enemy. I will take you up on the offer to peruse your technology, but I would feel reprehensible using it at the time being."

Gripping his cane tightly, he plodded in the general direction of the Indra delegation, ready to see what General Gherag had only alluded to five years earlier.

The Avatars aboard the Monitor went about their business as if there was no difference in the events that had taken place just outside the ships. Even though the vessel had sustained minor damage to the outside hull, the Avatars took it in stride. That was the beauty of having a sentient ship. It could virtually repair itself. The avatar that was programmed to monitor the communications systems was the individual who ontercepted the message that had been directed at her human counterpart. As per her instructions she responded in a manner that the Colonel had ordered.

"CorpSac vessel, this is the Indra Prime Temporal Ship Monitor communications Avatar Moni. My commander is currently on the surface discussing matters with the Schultarian dignitaries. However in response to your request and my programmed instructions, We will drop the defense shield in a 25 square km area over the capital so you can send in your Valkyrie Ships. Once through however the shield will be brought back to full defensive strength. The shield allows complete passage from one direction and an impenetrable forcefield from the other. Your vessels will be able to pass right through the shield as they exit the atmosphere. No harm will come to them. We also detected your communication about the Outer Heaven vessels. They will not attack you right now. they have completely powered down their weapons and shields on the other side of the planet to negotiate a peace settlement with the Indran leadership. You may attend if you wish. We are aware of the Schultarian Hostages they hold and this fact will be dealt with accordingly. This is the extent of my information. Colonel Pacior will be returning shortly with the Schultarian Delegation so you can contact this vessel again when they arrive which will be approximately fifteen minutes. Monitor out."

As soon as the communication ended a perfect 5km by 5km hole appeared in the planetary defense shield awaiting the vessels to be sent from the CorpSac mothership.

The Fifteen person Indran Delegation led the Director and his entourage to the underside of the Monitor and positioned themselves where the transporter system would be able to pick up the different signals. Ten of the Indran Delegation separated themselves from the group and got into position a few meters away, as they would have to be brought up with another transporter room. The Colonel and his senior officers along with the Schultarian delegation were transported up to the transporter room which was on the deck that contained the primary medical bay.

The Schultarian dignataries looked around at the transporter room with complete awe and fascination at the appearance of the room and the manner in which they were moved from one location to another. Like all the other rooms, corridors, and constructs on board, the walls seemed to flow together with no apparent seam. The room was designed in such a way that there appeared to be no door or exit of any kind. The room was somewhat of an optical illusion. The dark gray floor appeared to be a blend of hard metallic and plastic-like material, but when someone touched it they could feel the soft carpet on the floor. The walls were a smoky white color that appeared to be illuminated by an ordinary brilliant white light. The light was so perfect that the brain was able to see every single color of the spectrum all at once and colors that didn't even exist in most nations vocabulary. The one thing that broke the otherwise perfect color of the room was a multispectrum Holographic Display on the wall. It was the control panel as well as one of the Ship's AI contact points. The ship was designed so that Moni could be summoned in any part of the ship via one of these viewscreens.

The delegation began walking toward the wall where the floor seemed to end abruptly, but just as they arrived at the wall, a panel quickly and quietly irised out of the way and showed a Similarly designed corridor just outside the room. As the Schultarian delegation crossed out of the doorway and into the corridor something caught their attention. The fact that it was a pair of crewmembers walked by them with tools and holopads wasn't the thing that caught them offguard. These crewmembers were transparent. They were the holographic crewmembers of the Monitor. Colonel Pacior turned to look at the Schultarian group and saw a look of utter amazement on their face as well as an underlying feeling of fear and apprehension as they were on a vessel they had never seen the likes of. He knew there would be alot of questions once the initial shock wore off. He quickly led the way down the corridor to the Medical Bay to allow the doctors to assist the ailing director.

They arrived at the Medical Bay without too much more of a suprise as they could prevent. There was a subtle difference with the room as the room was a light blue gray color in nature which made it more easier to tolerate on the eyes. With that difference in mind, there was no difference in the level of technology that filled the room. There were devices that were the most advanced in the Indran medical arsenal. Genetic Manipulators, Cell Resequencers, Stasis Pods, Scanning equipment for every possible possibility, and of course, the Sarcophagus. The Colonel stayed back with the Director as Major Jurrgen walked away from the group and unfastened dress uniform jacket while she headed towards her office. She removed her DUJ and put on her normal Medical Uniform jacket so she would be more comfortable throughout the procedure. The Colonel turned to the Director.

"Director, with everything that has occured on your planet, I can understand that you would want your people helped first before you do anything for yourself. However, would your people want to see you in your condition, and watch you lose your battle with your coronary condition while trying to help them? If I were one of your citizen's I would want to see me leadership strong and healthy. We can help you there. It would not be a loss of face for you but it would help boost the morale of your nation, to see their once powerful leader, strong once again. One use of this will effectively double your average lifespan. And once you use it and find out what a great device this is, we will give you this regenerative technology. Along with some of the technological advancements you have seen to now. Your entire population will be able to use this technology and increase their lifespan. With our assistance, you can eliminate disease, famine, and all the pestilence that has affected your nation. You can even spread your nation to the stars once we finish helping you. We have no wish to do harm to you or your nation, but to help it. This offer is on the table. You can decide to take it or not to take it. But if I were you, I would accept it. We can help you in ways that you have only begun to realize."

OOC: Schulataria, what's the name of Elliot's two best friends?

IC: Ignoring CorpSac's transmission, the Gunships continued at their near impossible speeds. Within Thrity Seconds, the Gunships were safely inside the Robin. Then the Robin powered it's Shields, and it's weapons. A transmission was then sent to CorpSac: "CorpSac Vessels, this is Liquidus Snake. Dis-continue your attack vector at once, or we will open fire. We want peace, but if you do not want peace, then I will be more than happy to blow you out of this Sector. Liquidus out!" The Robin's wings spread, revealing a multi-tude of weapons, and then, the sub-space shielding on the Robin overlapped that of the original shielding. The Robin locked on to it's targets, and then waited. If CorpSac turned around, then would immediately power down. If they fired, they would be destroyed. The choice was up to them...

OOC: just a small question how did u gunships get past my Battleship? as the moment you ship carried on the breaching pods would lach onto the hull and bord your ships and the battleship and fighters would have opened fire on the engines (what were targeted befor) do u ever read peoples posts *raise eye brow* and you gunships would be damaged to after all they had a battleship open fire on them and the fighters fireing at them (engines and weapons) also im still confussed how you Robin took no damage from the super heavy Rail cannons from the mothership. im on the verge of ignoreing you

Three, the pods would have been blown away by the Beam Weapons on the GUnships. Four, the Robin DID take damage, but not that much (the hull is a mixture of Titanium and Quantum armour, so random shots would only pot-mark the hull at best, although concentrated attacks will penetrate. Five, the Gunships use special recovered Shivan technology, so even if the engines were damaged, the ships would be alot faster than your abttleships, and a bit faster than your fighters, so either way the should have made it. Also, you should stop firing, me and IP are about to negotiate an alliance, and you are trying to stop that, so that also raises a point. -On board the Monitor. Hartmann Suburb, Schultaria Prime

The small remnant of scientists and attaches still tagging along with Elliot were thoroughly impressed with the scope of technological advancement the Indrian vessel had achieved. Though all of them were exposed to some of the most advanced equipment Schultarian science had to offer, the magnitude of technological difference between the two nations was painfully apparent. Most of them, oblivious to the discussions between Central Director Schultz and the Indra delegation, began to carefully sketch some of the more peculiar things that struck their eyes. And while this grand tour represented the opportunity of a lifetime's academic sacrifice, the conversation amongst the party was markedly subdued. All of the scientists either had good colleagues or family who worked in the now obliterated research complex; most of them also knew full well that the people they had established such close ties with were gone forever.

Elliot took the tour in a retrospective stance, attempting to strike comparisons with the limited knowledge he had acquired during his fateful visit with General Gherag. As the Colonel addressed him, he began to seriously think about his medical options. For Elliot, a certain amount of pride was at stake; he had endured five years of highly intensive physical therapy to return his body to a state where he could declare himself physically independent. Now he faced a terrible choice in his mind: should he proceed with the treatment or refuse and attempt to help his country first?

"I'll tell you Colonel, this decision is a rather hard one for me to make. You see, the pride our family has in self-sufficiency is nearly to the point of arrogance; it's possibly the single biggest character flaw in the Schultz family mentality. Coupled with that, the destruction of... Eldaimovey... is the single largest attack on Schultarian soil in over 200 years... We... weren’t prepared for this kind of brutality and I want to show the bereaved families of the nation that I care for them."

Central Director Schultz buried his face in his hands, completely overcome by incredible pangs of guilt. Though his complete knowledge of the explosion was limited to a few grainy satellite photos and some rough estimates, he knew at least 20 years of research in every scientific discipline was wiped out. Amongst the projects either partially or completely destroyed were various medical experiments designed to stimulate regeneration of the human nervous system. Elliot was so excited for the possibility of new mobility that he placed his own personal physician, Dr. Kathleen Steiner at the head of the project. They were three months from developing their first workable treatment when the Proketsan exploded. "Rest in Peace Kathleen," Elliot sighed despairingly, "I hope that your work was not entirely for naught." Picking up his head, he had his answer for the Indrans.

"Do what you would like, but I have an obligation to serve and care for my people. The nation has lost far too much today, and I can only hope that you can help my people as much you are helping me."

VOOSH!!! That was the most accurate representation of the sound Liquidus heard as his Private Gunship left the Robin. At speeds Liquidus was amazed at, the Planet started to come towards them. Liquidus went over to the nearest Comm. unit, and sent out a transmission to the Indran Ships: "Indran Ships, this is Liquidus Snake on the Fang Gunship Benelovent. We are about to enter the atmosphere, please lower your shielding so we may go down to the Planet, and start the negotiations. Liquidus Snake out." he finished.

He then walked briskly away, and after a minute, he reached the back of the ship. A door opened with a hiss, and a small room came into view. Liquidus, using his implants, de-activated the forcefield just in-front of the door, and walked up to the two survivors. He stood in-front of them, grinning softly for the first time in ten years. The smile was one that you couldn't put a price on, and it eased the Schulatarians immensely.

"We are about to go down to the surface, once the Indrans lower their shields. When we dock with one of their Vessels, we will have the negotiations. If we come to an amicable agreement, you will be free to go back to your people. However, if we don't reach an amicable agreement, under the Beta Aquilane Convention, you are rescued suriviors from a neutral Nation so you are effectively, our guests. You may join the Nation of Outer Heaven MK II, or if you wish, you could stay on my Capital ship, or be dropped off on a beautiful and hospitable planet. I may have damaged your Planet, and set you back, but...I didn't mean to do so much. And I...apologise. And don't worry, I am sure that we will reach an amicable agreement with the Indrans. Now, try and get some rest. The accelerated regeneration won't work properly if you don't rest. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get to the Bridge. If you require anything, use the call unit on the wall and a guard will come down and get you what you need." he finished. He bowed to the survivors, and then walked out. He activated the forcefield, and as he walked away, the door shut.

Some of the many electronic eyes of Arete were focused on Schultaria, or in that general direction, nearly constantly, ensuring the safety of every cargo ship that came and went. More than usual were looking over the last few days, as the citizens of the Civillian Barge awaited the moment when the Schultarians would finally leave the confines of their planet on their own.

Thus it was that the large explosion did not go unnoticed.

Whether he actually cared about the Schultarians, or just about the safety of the latest shipment of beef, the Governor ordered a torchship to depart immediately. The fact that it carried personnel trained in EVA and a good deal of excess computing power suggested that the welfare of the Schultarians was at least of secondary concern.

Says the single pilot of the scout. His slinder digit gently flips a switch, activating the Anti-Cloaking System still be configured and tested.

"Sheitnza!"

He yells,as a large blurred mass forms below him,the vessels uncloaked to a low degree. He quickly brings up a tele-com link to Fuhrer Heydrich of Der Auftrag and recomends more scouting of this region.
The scout zooms higher, gainign altitude, and enabling the D.R.C. (Digital Recon Camera) taking several pictures of the onslaughted city and the approaching vessels.

OOC: umm ok Where did your vessels come from Auftrag?

IC:Major Juurgen helped the Director in the direction of the sarcophagus while explaining the procedure to him.

"Now Director, this device basically scans your entire genome and tracks down and identified genetic flaws like coronary illnesses and anything else that has, is or will affect you. The entire procedure will take approximately three hours to complete. The chamber if filled with an anesthetizer that will put you out for the length of the procedure. Once the procedure is complete a chemical will be introduced to the chamber to bring you back up to concious. Now you do need to be aware that the chamber will seal as soon as you get comfortable resting flat on your back. Then the process will begin. Hopefully all this is clear. While you are in the chamber we will show your delegation of scientists around the ship and answer any questions they might have. Now just relax. It'll be over in no time."

The Director passed his support cane to one of his aides and used the Major's assistance to step over the side of the device and slowly lowered himself into the chamber. The device had been made for Indran Physical structure so it was a bit roomy for the Director. The Chamber began to seal to begin the restorative process.

In Orbit

A transmission eminated from the lead Indra Prime Vessel that was one Million Kilometers off the Outer Heaven command ship's bow. It was directed at the vessels attempting the reenter the atmosphere.

"Attention Outer Heaven Vessels. The Direction you are taking is a dangerous one and will result in your destruction. The Shield will remain fully powered. The meeting is supposed to take place on our vessel, not the Monitor which is currently on the surface. Please alter your course so you do not impact the shield and rendevous with our ships."

The remaining portion of Elliot’s entourage, four in total, was very apprehensive about leaving their leader in such an indefensible state. Nonetheless, they were encouraged by the Indran crew to take a look around and insured his absolute safety. Seeing no option but to leave him in the care of the ship's medical team, they were quickly escorted out of the medical bay by the remaining diplomatic delegation. As they were exiting the room, the group began to speak in a very abrupt tone of Schultarian.

"Well I hope that their physiology is similar to ours; who knows what might happen if our genomes are improperly compared?"

"I'm not worried about the actual procedure, but I am concerned about the Central Director's responsiveness to anesthetic. If the concentration is too much or it's a chemical that does not react well with his neurochemistry we could lose him before he ever began the treatment."

"Shut up; we shouldn't worry about what has already happened. Let's take this opportunity to be gracious guests, and perhaps find out a bit more of what happened to Eldaimovey if we can."

As the group left the medical bay, all of them pulled out their notebooks and began to look around the ship with the careful eye of their academic training. Even though they had three hours to tour the vessel, the four knew that they would spend most of that time learning the principles of this ship from the largest details downward.

"How in the hell? Where am I?"

Tomar Orrow groaned, adjusting to the amount of light pouring into the room. Even though he had been addressed by a rather comforting presence, Orrow felt that his visit on board this vessel was not one where he would be very comfortable. Sitting up, he noticed his finely pressed dress shirt was covered in fine dust and black grease. "Well, given what I think happened, this should be the least of my worries," Tomar thought to himself.

"Well, I'm glad to see you're okay," said a woman in a very considerate tone, "it looks like you had a pretty severe injury to your right leg."

"Thanks, I feel much bette... Wait... Say, do I know you? Your name is Dr. Steiner, right?"

"Looks like nothing passes you by; I am Dr. Kathleen Steiner, head of the Neurobiology Research Division in Eldaimovey," she replied confidently, but had a look of deep anxiety in her eyes, "I guess that you did not hear much of what that man had to say to us earlier, but it seems that these 'people' were responsible for what happened to Eldaimovey." She picked herself up and began to approach the forcefield, "See these screens of light? They're impenetrable; I've tried every option to see if I can get out, but no such luck. I wonder, if we are a 'neutral' party in all of this, than why the high security?"

"Well, so much for hospitality," Tomar began to survey the room, "looks like we'll be getting used to these surroundings around here. If they're going to keep us like common criminals and caged rats we might as well keep ourselves entertained."

"But if I get my hands on the person responsible for this they will not live to see the dawn..."

IC:

Lieutenant Sherill Truxill led the Schultarian Delegation around the vessel on the order of Colonel Pacior. Truxill was the assistant chief engineer aboard the Monitor and was the second best person to be able to give the delegation whatever answers to whatever questions they had about the underlying technical aspects of the ship. The first stop after the group of five left the medical bay was the engineering section. Like the rest of the ship, the design of the room and the equipment within all had a continuity that made the rooms seem to flow together. The engine room was filled with holographic crewmembers and living humanoid crew all going about their duty with maintaining ships systems. Holographic displays floated all throughout the room each displaying respective systems that were being worked on by the crew. The dominant feature in the room was a giant three story pane of glasslike material. The Window shimmered as one looked at it and was deceptive to identify the type of material that it was. Lieutentant Truxill led the Schultarian Delegations to the window to see what was contained behind the protective panel. What the Schultarian Delegation saw could not be easily described. Here, resting behind this window, lay the source of the Indran access to hyperspace, the Temporal Impellor. From the window, the delegation could see that the space that held the Impellor was almost a kilometer tall and more than one and a half that deep. At the very top of the chamber there was a bulbous protrusion that extended approximately one hundred meters downward. At the very center of the protrusion, there was a spiderlike array of eight emitters that extended out and down toward a similar construction from the bottom of the chamber. A single additional emitter existed in the exact center of the Impellor which was the primary reaction zone. None of the emitters extended far enough to actually touch the others on the other side of the chamber but came close enough for the reaction to take place. The actual reaction itself was difficult to see due to its nature. The energy that existed in the emitters and in the containment field on the vessel had more than three dimensions. It in fact had seven. What the eye saw was a startling cerulean blue that was similar to the commonly seen light being emitted from a controlled nuclear fission reaction.

"This Ladies and Gentlemen, is the Temporal Impellor, the single most advanced temporal drive in the Galaxy. As you can see the injectors located at both the top and the bottom of the chamber, which has to be quite large to accommodate the drive, are able to pull energy from the fabric of the Space/Time Continuum around the vessel and introduce it to the reactor. Due to the incredible danger to the ship of the materials that this reactor accesses the materials must be accessed by two separate collectors and sometimes as many as six. In total there are eight collectors aboard this ship and at least that number on every Indran Temporal Vessel in the TIF. The best way how to describe what you are seeing is that the top collector accumulates "positive" spatial energy while the bottom one collects "negative" energies. There is no exact term for the energy that is used because a name has not been found suitable for the type of energy found. The material that is pulled from the STC, as we commonly refer to the Space/Time Continuum, exists in more than the common three and four dimensional planes. This material actually possesses seven dimensional coordinates, and sometimes more. If you take a look at the reaction that is taking place, you will see the three dimensional result, the bright blue light, as well as something else that you cannot describe to your satisfaction. That 'disturbance' that you see is your mind trying to make sense of the images your eyes are taking in of the fourth and fifth dimensional reactions. If you close your eyes and kind of reach out toward the reactor with your mind you can feel the other two dimensional reactions taking place just barely above the detection 'threshold'. We use the word feel because, again, there is no proper word to describe what your mind is attempting to analyze. If you come over here with me I will show you a schematic of the Monitor and the engine specifications and then you can ask some questions."

http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~palmerts/Nationstates/Temporal%20Impellor.JPG

The Lieutenant escorted the delegation away from the window and took them to a holographic display next to the adjacent wall to the impellor. She called up a diagram of the ships layout, and structure and basic information regarding the engines and power cores. A three dimensional representation of the Monitor faded into view and slowly began rotating on the Y axis of the vessel. As the vessel slowly spun like a top the Lieutenant pointed out different aspects of the ship. AS she pointed to the individual systems the ship went a little more transparent and the system in question highlighted itself in a reddish hue. She pointed to the Impellor. It began to glow.

"This is the location of the Impellor. As you can see the space required for the subcomponents of the drive is immense. Due to the unusual Temporal Radiation put out by the Impellor, the chamber had to be surrounded by a specially constructed Temporal based Shield, which would stop any form of radiation from penetrating the rest of the ship. Unfortunately the shield that surrounds the core requires immense power to sustain and can only be used in an enclosed space due to the exact nature of the shielding. However once the energy has been harnessed it is sent down these conduits which have backups here and here" she points these out and the holographic display changes with her, "and finally wind up in the Triaogesic Thrusters that are on the outside of the vessel, here. The thruster assembly was designed by a revolutionary scientist at the Temporal Research Institute named Grochenk Triao. His construction of certain geodesic molecular structures allowed for the Temporal Hyperspace Window Generator. But even with all his brilliance he could not forsee a space accident as he was on vacation in the Vorallian System. He and his family were killed instantly, and with him, went an incredible amount of information that could have revolutionized the Indran civilization. Well that is the basics of the engines, any questions?"

Katherine and Tomar, both numbed by the lack of activity within the confines of their "personal space", were very receptive of this arrival. Even though they were eager to strike conversation, both were weary of divulging any information; after all, both of them had worked on some of Schultaria Prime's greatest technical achievements which represented the absolute bleeding edge of the nation's knowledge.

"Well a name to a face can't hurt, just as long as they don't know who we are or what we do we should be fine," Dr. Steiner whispered to the still recovering Orrow. She approached their questioner, bowed slightly, and replied:

"I am Katherine Steiner; my friend behind me goes by the name Tomar Orrow. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

The four delegates could hardly contain their excitement as they observed the impressive and elegantly complex engineering section. All of them were specialists in their field, hand picked by the National Assembly to personally advise the Central Director in Schultaria Prime's research efforts and had been trained in the expert arts of observation. While Lieutenant Truxill began his personal tour of the engine section, Professor Douglass Kronsen, head of Schultaria Prime's theoretical Physics division, was particularly curious about the underlying principles of the obviously impressive Impellor. While the other three followed the Lieutenant to the holographic displays Professor Kronsen pulled out a small piece of paper; it was a photocopy from Kevem Haarvekord's famous journal which contained some of the most brilliant reactor designs in Schultarian history. Nearly all of them had been replicated, except for the one on the last page. Noticing that he was lagging behind, he rushed to meet with the rest of the enthusiastic delegation, the image and a big hunch imbedded in his mind.

http://bonedaddy.net/emschultz/Core1.jpg

"Could this be? Is this what Haarvekord was finally reaching for?"

The Professors, obviously impressed by the sheer amount of advanced technology, began to question the Lieutenant with the basics.

"On behalf of our group, we would be greatly honored if you would be willing to describe the nature of these protective systems surrounding the Temporal Impellor. We don't want to jump the gun so to speak in terms of anything more advanced right now, mainly due to time constraints, but we hope to discuss the physics of the engine at a later date."

"Of course. As I described earlier, the Impellor puts out an incredible amount of radiation across multiple spectrums and across multiple dimensions. The first level of protection is the sheer distances from the reactor. The half a kilometer distance allows the most dangerous radiations, the extra dimensional rads, to dissipate before reaching the outer walls. The next layer of protection includes a special ionized vacuum in that chamer which surround the perfect vacuum immediately surrounding the vacuum. See the two vacuums act like two separate viscous liquids, they both exist in a single space, but due to their different properties, are unable to combine submolecularly. Thus a special vacuum barrier exists between the two spaces and also, consequentially, provides a third barrier. By the time the radiation reaches the walls of the chamber the radiation has dropped to approximately 15% of its initial strength... with the exception of one type. A single fifth dimension form of radiation is able to penetrate all those previous barriers without being phased in the slightest. So in order to protect the crew from being exposed from that radiation, which may I add is incredibly destructive to the basic cellular structure of any object, we have designed and constructed a special hyperthermobaric quantum forcefield. The shield extends a few feet, a few millimicrons from the innersurface of the chamber. The forcefield eliminates the radiation in its natural form and turns it into harmless radiation in the range of 300 to 450 nanometers. Finally if in the event that there is some additional radiation that gets past the forcefield, there is an interweaving layer of ablative armor and transparent Rhenium that acts as our viewports. If major damage is rendered to the Impellor it is designed to be able to shut down and be ejected from the ship. In extreme cases, if boarding parties manage to board any Indra Vessel, the Artifical Intelligence that runs this ship is designed to cause a feedback pulse within the reactor and shut down the forcefields protecting the crew. When the order is given for self destruct, it takes a few seconds at the very least for the reactor to reach critical mass. Once the reactor reaches that point, be somewhere else or be prepared to meet your maker."

The four Professors nodded their heads in agreement to the Lieutenant's response, making notes whenever possible. While the other three were busy scribbling various details and comments on the nature of extra dimensional radiation, Professor Kronsen's eyes darted about the room vainly trying to make eye contact with any technician who crossed his path. Failing at his attempts for subtlety, he picked up his data pad and began to page through the small amount of scanned work he had conveniently "absconded" from the University of Schultaria Prime Mainframe.

"I must find a way to talk with that Lieutenant; he might have the answers I seek to finally crack this mystery..."

Meanwhile, the other three professors began to engage Lieutenant Truxill about the nature of the ship's construction.

"Obviously, we don't want to trespass on any vital information that your nation might possess in manufacturing technology, but we can't help but notice that something of this size does not really assemble itself without some incredible engineering expertise," one of the other delegates said, pointing to the Temporal Impellor, "We are curious as to the basic construction of a vessel of this size and mass; how exactly is a ship like this designed and built? What kinds of construction practices and methods did you have to invent to produce one of these behemoths within a person's lifetime, let alone in a few years?"

OOC: Dronios there can be no reply since no inquiry was made. There was only a reference to contacting them and no specific communique was made to any vessel in the vicinity. That will have to occur before we can respond.

IC: "Well professor, to be totally truthful, the ships hull and interior compartments are built totally under automation. The ship builds itself basically. The process all begins with the construction of an Artificial Intelligence Computer Core that is given design specifications that the ship is supposed to meet at the most miminal of expectations. The AI is then given time to review the schematics and blueprints of previous vessels and compares them with the design orders given to him or her. You see our AI technology also includes a personality subroutine that gives the AI some uniqueness. Sometimes we can get an interesting result in AI personality. But anyway the AIs mainframe is then connected to one of our available types shipyards, a simple one that has the resources and size to build anything from a cargo runner to a full out corvette. Either that or it would be placed in connection with one of our advanced Supership yards which can build vessels from destroyers to a Phaeralon class flagship. In anywhere from three months for the smaller vessels to three years the ships hull will be completed. One of the special features of having the AI build the vessels, as they build the ship, which is usually from Bow to Stern, they build in the components that are unable to be installed later piecemeal. An example of that would be the AICC itself. The core would float in the zero G atmosphere positioned in an area that was regulated by tractor beams. As the vessels construction reaches the AICC, the ships hull wraps itself around the computer core chamber with no flaws whatsoever. After the bulk of the construction is complete, teams of engineers, specialists, and technicians board the ship, which at this point have already had the basic requirements installed such as the Artifical Gravity Generators, Atmosphere replenishers and scrubbers, Lighting (which can get quite interesting), and power conduits on every deck. The engineering teams spend anywhere from one month to two years, depending on the crew availability and the speed at which the replicators work. So at most, it takes five years to construct the flagship sized vessels. After the construction and installation of amenities has been completed, the ship is taken out for test flights and minor corrections are made if problems arise on the flight. In extreme cases a section of the hull is 'erased' to access a system that is buried deep within the hull. The erasing procedure is a technique that utilizes a form of temporal technology. Basically it temporarily erases the section of hull above the area affected and allows passage through the matter as if it wasn't there. Once the systems affected have been repaired, the 'erased' sections of hull and corridor are restored. The erasure does little damage as the area around the sections affected is placed in a stasis field of sorts. Once the system is repaired, the vessel is tested once again. As soon as the vessel is declared flightworthy, the AI celebrates by choosing a name for him/her self and thus the ships name. A permanent crew is brought in from command and the ship is officially christened and launched.

Now we should be heading on to our next destination. If you will please follow me to the Holodeck."

As the delegation assembled to travel to the holodeck, Professor Kronsen decided to approach the Lieutenant about his hypothesis. With the ridicule of his peers from the University of Schultaria Prime still fresh in his mind, he knew that defending Haarvekord's designs had become his life's work and would become the ultimate technological acme of Schultaria Prime. They were his undying passion; through their mysteriously simple and intricately planned schematics the designs of Haarvekord had tempted Professor Kronsen ever since he had the privilege of working Schultaria Prime's first successful fission reactors.

"Pardon me Lieutenant Truxill, but I have rather nagging question I've been meaning to ask your people ever since Central Director Schultz had the honor of meeting you," said Douglass, just out of earshot of his colleagues, "Is there a way, protecting your technological and intellectual privacy of course, of simulating and comparing technologies using your advanced Artificial Intelligence constructs to make a fully working model out of a schematic? We have automated computer simulation laboratories throughout Schultaria Prime, but they lack the refinement necessary to perform such operations without massive programming on the user's behalf."

Kronsen then approached the officer very cautiously, displayed the schematic from his data pad and whispered...

"Because I may have found Schultaria Prime's key to the stars..."
Indra Prime
04-06-2004, 07:12
Lieutenant Truxill looked at the schematic on the data pad for a few very long seconds and stopped dead in her tracks. This revelation was something that was completely unexpected especially from a nation once thought as young. She looked up from the pad and made direct eye contact with the professor.

"Professor, I dont know how to tell you this but the information you hold in your hand is almost an exact replica of one of the first versions of the Temporal Impellors ever created by Indra Prime Temporal Research. The dimensional schisms are almost perfect matches. I can see that there are some things missing, right off hand, because all people who join the military service are required to learn early history of Indran Space Travel."

At this point she motioned for the professor to continue their progress to the Holodeck while also motioning for another crewmember who was doing basic maintenance on a power conduit to stop what it was doing and guide the other scientists to the Holodeck.

"If you would be so kind as to tell me, where did you come by this design? Even the most basic designs for the Temporal Impellor have been classified to those people that must do work on it and flag officers of the fleet. I find it hard to believe that any data can be smuggled of one of our most secure vessels and used for research. If your nation created it solely by yourself, that would be an incredible accomplishment and that would definitely show why the Senior Directorate has taken such personal interest in your planet and your civilization. The Senior Directorate is our Highest Body of Government, just for your information. But to answer your question, we can use the Holographic Imaging Chamber to create a holographic representation of your schematics. Are all the numbers regarding dimensional folds, thermal abrasion discs, particle and flux injectors all included in the specs?"

Professor Kronsen, dumbfounded by the news, stumbled and tripped while he cradled his data pad in his arms. Insuring that his information was secure, he clamored to his feet. The moment had obviously taken him by surprise; Douglass began to uncontrollably smile and shake to the point of embarrassment, but calmed himself down enough to take a large breather.

"Kevem, if you were here today... I have finally redeemed both you and myself; what a wondrous day!"

"Lieutenant, I would be honored to tell you about the history surrounding this schematic. Nearly a century ago, a man by the name of Kevem Haarvekord became the guiding light for Schultaria Prime's fascination with science and technology. He was an odd sort, but very personable, and for nearly 25 years he not only taught students but also built the University of Schultaria Prime's Physics program from the ground up. All of this happened before the revolution though."

Kronsen let out a deep sigh and looked at the continuously streaming pages of material from his data pad. After recollecting his thoughts, he flipped the screen to a few short pages of text and resumed to address the Lieutenant.

"When the seeds of violence sprung a hundred years ago, many academics in Schultaria Prime were worried about the potential loss of their positions; a great deal more were extremely fearful of losing their livelihoods. However, since Professor Haarvekord was so revered by the entire nation, both the Democratic Rebels and Corporate Oligarchs agreed to fully fund him, and his research, as long as he did not develop any sort of offensive weapons technology. Though he complied, the loss of his former position was a serious blow to his morale. Nonetheless, he began to develop what he would later call his 'Forty steps to greatness'.

Today, the works he developed are called the Forty Faces of Haarvekord, and nearly all of them have introduced radical changes in the way Schultaria Prime has advanced technologically. For our sake with this device, in a flash of sudden brilliance 90 years ago he developed the schematics and all of the necessary calculations without the aid of any computational devices in under a week," he began to look around, " I think we will need to catch up with the rest of the group, I know that they're an impatient lot."

Lieutenant Truxill and Professor Kronsen arrived at the door which would lead them into the holographic chamber. The Lieutenant reached out her hand and touched a barely distinguishable panel in the wall and a section of the wall slid away to reveal a startling vivid landscape. The group slowly walked into the holodeck and were soon being affected by the apparent winds that were blowing through the streets. The doors behind them shut and faded out of view leaving an unmarred, and unimaginable setting. The group was standing on a wide pedestrial broadway that was flanked by two gigantic statues holding laurels in their raised hands and holding their other hands out in signs of peace. On either side of the path was a set of twin mirror lakes that reflected the perfect sky all around them. Behind the statues was a giant hall with a flight of steps leading up to a long open aired corridor which led to grandios building. Lieutenant Truxill closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, reminescing the last time she had stood in front of the Great Hall. She opened her eyes and turned around to face the Schultarian Delegation. Each and every one of them had a wondering awe in their eyes as they looked upon the magnificent structure.

Truxill began to speak.

"This is the Indran Capital City in the Gamma Eridani Planetary Star system, where our holeworld resides. This area you seeing is protected land and almost a sacred site, for the first ship landed just up there when colonizing this world. These statues you see are the Protectors. They have stood over the entrance to the Council chambers for more than a thousand years. They are there to have two fold effect upon foreign delegations. They incur a feeling of awe and fear at the power of the Indran Civilization and they also provide a sense of peace, which is a good opposite for fear. With seeing both of these traits in the first statues they generally have a sense of calm when they enter the expansive council chambers. If you will now follow me."

Truxill led the way between the two statues and sneaked a glance back to see the Schultarian Delegation continue to look upon the statues as they were dwarfed by their massive size as they walked by. Up the steps they went and came upon a breezeway with columns and a very high archway leading to the Council chambers. Positioned with their backs to the columns were four Sentinels all armed with gigantic spears and globes of the lead worlds in the Indran Civilization in their hands.

"The Sentinels have been guarding the entrance to the Council chambers for almost a millenia. Everything you see here has been constructed with some of the rarest minerals known in existance. Especially the spearheads and the globes which are the Four Leading Worlds in the Indran Civilization.

"I wanted to show you this, so we could return the favor. You allowed us to see your capital and your cities, so we thought it far to return the gesture and show you one of our most prized locations in the Galaxy. Before we continue with the demonstation promised to Professor Kronsen, is there anything you wish to ask about the city, or the Holographic technology?"

Needless to say, the professors were very impressed with the immaculately recreated scenery; all of them were awed by the sheer scale of both the architecture and the complexity of the programs operating just underneath the surface to bring this vista to life. Though they were curious as to how the device operated, everyone in the delegation began turn their thoughts to Elliot's condition. While they sauntered down the entrance to the council chambers, the topic of the Central Director's health was their only concern; many of them barely bothered to sketch the magnificently mirrored construction.

One of the professors held his data pad to his side and apologetically addressed the Lieutenant, "We're terribly sorry, but we are still worried about the safety and security of our leader, Elliot. After all, most of us think it a kind of sacrilege to tread in a foreign capital without him seeing these marvels first hand. It's not to say that we don't have any questions regarding this extremely impressive and frighteningly realistic technology, but we want to be sure that an indelible piece of our history is still with us."

"You may proceed with your other demonstrations Lieutenant," Professor Kronsen confided with Truxill, "everything is here in my data pad. However, I am also worried about Elliot's health too; is there a way we could check up on his status before we begin?"

OOC: I have been swamped with some legal stuff in RL but I am here to do what needs to occur. So I am back.

IC: As the small scientific delegation was looking around the simulation of the Indran Capital City on Gamma Eridani, Lieutenant Truxill was summoned by an officer that materialized about fifteen meters behind the group. She told the group to continue to look around while she conferred with the avatar. She walked back and spoke quietly with the avatar, and exchanged quick dialogue with him along with a data pad that materialized in his hand. She looked it over quickly and thanked the avatar, who phased out and returned to its normal duty assignments. Truxill approached the Schultarian Delegation to give them the news.

"Gentlemen, I have just recieved word from our medical bay. It appears that the Director should be coming out of the procedure any minute now. We have also recieved word from our Intelligence Avatar on the bridge that the CorpSac vessels have been recalled back to their home system for an emergency situation. With relation, the rest of the Indran Fleet on and around Schultaria, are also being recalled for reasons of interstellar security. However the Monitor will stay here for the time being. Now, I would suggest that we all make our way to the medical bay, to check on his condition. If you will all follow me."

Lieutenant Truxill didn't waste any time taking the scientists back to the medical bay. When they arrived the scene was completely abustle with activity. Many things had to go right in order for the safe extraction of Director Elliot from the sarcophagus in which he was entombed. All of a sudden, a panel beeped from the center of the room where the sarcophagus. Everybody immediately froze, turned and looked at the sarcophagus and saw a crack forming in the seal. Immediately a bright cerulean blue light was eminating from the crack which began to yawn wider until it was completely agape. The CMO leaned over, and extended her scanning device into the sarcophagus. She looked at the readings it gave her and apparently satisfied, she put the device back into her pocket.

She reached in with both hands and began to help support the once frail Director of Schultaria Prime. Elliot, even though with her assistance, didn't look like he would need it for any other reason other than his grogginess. To all outward appearances he looked like a man in his mid thirties. He stood up in the sarcophagus and leaned on the CMO for support as he reawakened from his rejuvenating slumber. He stepped out of the healing device and leaned back against the sarcophagus to fully wake up. While he was resting there the Doctor in charge informed him and his delegation of his new status.

"Director, Delegates, let me tell you of the results personally. Director Elliot has been completely healed of all genetic deviations that caused your cardiac defficiencies. There was also a secondary set of repairs that were made that include a minor case of arthritis, first stage pulmonary failure, hemotitis and a few other things. Also as you can see there was a repair of your broken DNA which allowed you to revert to a younger age. We hope this shows the advantages of using this technology. As you can se it works. We can provide it for your entire populace if you so desire. Hopefully this will mark the beginning of a strong alliance between our nations."

In orbit of Schultaria Prime, the entire Indran Fleet had picked up shop and fled the system at an amazing velocity. Even three of the ships from the surface lifted off from their positions, and joined with the other four vessels that headed out of the system. In less than a minute they were completely off sensors for every vessel in the system. The only two Indra Vessels left in the system, were the two command ships, the Causality who was in orbit, and the Monitor who was parked on the surface of the planet. The Causality picked up the transmission finally from the Black Raven as she had been entirely focused on the events that were unfolding in the CorpSacian homesystem. They were now able to respond to the transmission sent from the BlackRaven II. I holobeam was sent from the Indran vessel to the Dronios vessel.

"Attention Black Raven II. This is the Temporal Incursion Fleet Vessel Causality. This is a vessel from the sovreign nation of the Temporal Research Commission of Indra Prime. You have been granted clearance to land on the surface of Schultaria Prime to rendevous with the TIV Monitor. There you can meet with a high commander in the Indran Navy and discuss the possibility of an alliance. The alliance opportunity that you will be offered will be a chance to join the Extra Solar Union of Systems, or better known as the ESUS. It is the most powerful alliance of nations in three galaxies, and perhaps the universe. The Shield will be dropped in a matter of minutes and you may proceed to land at that time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to join you on the surface because of the war footing that Indra Prime is currently on at hte moment. The Shield is being dropped right now. You may proceed. Causality out"

Instantly, the enormous shield that had protected the planet was dropping and allowed for any vessels to land.

Dazed from the mixture of anesthetics and senses numbed by the alteration of his genetic structure, Elliot's body felt completely alien to him. As his drooping head made low, tired, sweeps across the room, he could notice that is four advisors were more than surprised about his appearance. His hands, pristine and completely unmarred by illness or injury, were his first indication about the extensiveness of his transformation; the scars incurred during his years of menial physical labor were erased completely. Surveying the rest of the crew, and himself, his thoughts turned on the very nature of his being.

"So I've become the person I never was supposed to be. The genetic legacy of my family, long a source of pride and indemnity has been cleaned of its refuse. For eight generations my family has suffered at the hands of a failing heart; now I could be the first in my family to retire before death."

Opening to speak, he noticed his voice had deepened to a point he had not reached since his early twenties. Startled by his radical rearrangement Elliot suffered a brief crisis of self, which he was often prone to have when he examined any problem at a deep enough level, but regained his composure. Propping himself by his elbows on the Sarcophagus, he smiled and addressed his contemporaries.

"I do not believe words can accurately describe the feeling I have right now for what you have given me, but I can assure you that nothing but goodwill could come from this. However, before we can begin to discuss matters of technology, we must rebuild what was taken so abruptly and shortsightedly from us. I ask of you, dear members of the Nation of Indra Prime, will you help us to find who would commit such a wonton act of destruction on the lands our peaceful country?"

"Actually Director, we have taken care of them. They will not pose a threat to you our your nation ever again. Outer Heaven, the nation who attacked you, has ceased and desisted. We are now free to assist you in rebuilding your scientific facilities better than you can ever imagine. With the revelation that you have given us, we are willing to help guide you in your research purposes for developing your temporal tech and space technology. Mind you that we cannot give you the technology directly, we must allow you to develop with your own technological abilities. We will be able to assist you but the bulk of your development is up to you. Also we will offer your nation a chance to join the ESUS of which we are a member nation. We will tell you more if you wish to know. We were more than glad to help you in your recovery and hope that you take our offer to heart."

"That... is not good enough."

Elliot, using his newly restored body, gripped the side of the Sarcophagus and hoisted himself out of the chamber with the skills of a world class gymnast. Though the physical vagaries of his lineage had been removed from his body, his family's rage and undying quest for resolution had enhanced along with the rest of his body. While his outward appearance gave a sense of determination and sagely wisdom to the room, every fiber in his being called for the sweet satisfaction of revenge. As he nodded to the rest of the crew and his four advisors, Elliot motioned for the Lieutenant to talk with him privately.

Elliot broke away to recover his composure. The helplessness of his position was not lost on him; he knew the only way to help his nation was to rebuild, but he did not know where to start. For three generations a member of his family had occupied some portion of National office and none of them had ever faced a task as emotionally devastating. Eldaimovey was not only a source of national pride, but was a personal gift to the people for his thirty years of service with the Central Directorate. Once again, his thoughts subsided, and his familial anger took hold once again.

"I do not care that they have 'ceased and desisted', I want their blood," he whispered to the Lieutenant, "while I thank you for your aid, trust me it will be more than appreciated by all of us, I want their heads for this act of aggression. What am I going to say to those 8,000 families who lost loved ones? Sorry, they died but the enemies are gone for good? Excuse me for a second..."

Elliot paused for a moment, sighed deeply, and returned to whispering.

"Our government shall consider your offer to join the ESUS, but you must give our nation time to ponder what has just happened to them too. By the way, what technologies are you talking about? I've heard about no such revel..." Elliot turned around and yelled toward his entourage, a huge smile wrapped across his taught lips.

"KRONSEN, YOU MAGNIFICIENT BASTARD!"
