For nearly twenty years, the second of two scarring civil wars has raged in Sudan. In the past several months, the Arab and Muslim government of the north has commited acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Africans of the south. Thousands have been killed without provocation, and Galdania is stepping in to stop the genocide.

In co-ordination with the Sudan People's Liberation Army, 650 paratroopers landed in southern Sudan, with the goal of ousting the genocidal government in place in Khartoum.

Galdanian forces in the south will attempt to control the White Nile river, while humanitarian supplies are airdroped in by the Galdanian Army.

The Galdanian Peacekeeping Operation, code named 'Grey Eagle' is to be the first of "many future operations to stabalize Africa" said President Abu Dihval of thew Galdanian Central Authority.

The Socialist Union of Galdania's Senate voted 69% in favour of operation 'Grey Eagle'.

How long will your armed forces be staying in Sudan and in "future" peacekeeping missions? Awaiting your reply.

We will stay until the current military junta is toppled, and the SPLA is in control.

That sound like *cough* annexation *cough*. Seems like nations now adays are all colonizing Africa. Like the Berlin Conference.

Quite the opposite, in fact. By liberating the populace as we have in Ghana, we will be able to stop genocide in Sudan.

(After a brief intervention in Ghana, a dictator was toppled and the country stablized. Currently, only 228 Galdanian troops are stationed there, as part of a military exchange program. The Ghana National Army has nearly 500 training in Galdania. Ghana has not seen famine or war since Galdanian intervention several years ago. Galdania's venture was part of a coalition-movement to stop the military junta in control of the country at the time.)
