(Hey, might as well go with the flow.)
Doujin University, Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science Admissions / Application
The Doujin University, Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science participates in the Doujin Medical College Application Service (DMCAS). Applications become available usually in April and must be filed by December 15 of the year preceding expected entry. Upon receipt of the DMCAS application, the Office of Admissions and Records will send eligible candidates a supplemental application form. This form must be filed by February 15.
Along with the supplemental application, candidates are requested to submit a minimum of three academic letters of recommendation or one composite letter from a preprofessional committee. These letters should be sent to the Office of Medical College Admissions. Applicants are advised to obtain letters from the institution they currently attend or most recently attended. Those enrolled in graduate programs must obtain at least one letter from a faculty member in their graduate department.
The Committee on Admissions evaluates completed applications on a rolling basis from early September through the end of March. Many factors are considered in this evaluation. MCAT scores and grade point average are only part of the criteria. The committee and the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine.
Doujin University, Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science Admissions Requirements
Applicants to the Doujin University, Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science must complete the requirements for a baccalaureate degree by the end of the summer of the year they will enroll as first-year medical students. The degree can be held in any field of study. Courses in biology, general and organic chemistry, and physics are particularly helpful in preparation for study in the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine. In addition, starting in the class that entered in the Fall of 1998 the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine has instituted a set of prerequisite undergraduate courses.
The Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine will consider for admission only those applicants who are Doujin citizens or who have a immigration visa for schooling.
In considering applicants for admission, the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine gives preference to residents of the Empire of Doujin. However, most of the nonresident students enrolled in the college are, in fact, minority students. As you will read in the Financial Aid Page, the college is making every effort to be a financially viable option for nonresident minority applicants.
