Reports from the FWS are coming in suggesting several platoons of White Militia and Reservists are engaged in skirmishing with black police and black militants along the border between White Western Province and Western Province.
The governor of White Western Province downplayed the seriousness of the skirmishing suggesting "It's only some folks with guns letting off some steam, nothing to get too worried about."
President Rhodes silence on the issue seemed to say he agreed with the governor.
Reports suggest that perhaps twenty to thirty black police were killed in mortar atacks launched by white militias. Dozens more have been wounded.
Black militants fired RPGS at several white border posts and killed 4 guards and injured 8.
