Hello all...
There is an incredibly amount of things going on in my life at the moment - yes, I do have a real life - such as schoolwork and several projects. Well, I say several, more like an insane amount...thhhhhhree. Not much, it seems, but don't you love it how teachers wait til the end of the year during statewide standarized tests and final studies and not to mention, summer, to throw at you simultaneously large projects that they expect to be absolutely perfect?
Anyway, NS has simply been taking up way too much of my time. I have too many obligations elsewhere at the moment to worry at all about NationStates, and accordingly will be taking a 30-day-break or so from it...'til summer.
I'll be signing in to my first Nation, Zoogiedom, occasionally, as it's the UN nation and I have some regional affairs to take care of. At least I'd just like to check on my region every once in a while. I will also be present at the various NS-related forums I'm tied to...not very active, however. These include the LHS, Zoogie Isles, LoD, IADF, OMP, and CAP forums.
See what I mean by taking up a lot of my time? Alliances...sheesh.
If anyone wishes to contact me, if they feel so inclined, they may do so at any time at my e-mail address, zoogies@energymail.com. This I'll check every so often.

Zoogiedom is simply taking a short leave from nationstates and will not be on the international scene for a brief few NS years. In fact, since I'll be checking these alliance forums every so often, I'll be involved in alliance affairs, and if I need anything, I will expect my allies to act as my mouth for this duration.
All alliances and trade pacts are retained; all hostilities put on hold indefinitely and dropped. I will take them later when I return.

The 13th carrier battle group has been recalled from its deployment and is returning to base in Jaganda. All hostilities against the pirate nation X-F have been put on hold; however, we will only be happy to diplomatically back and support those who decimate him.
The 14th, 11th, 16th, 7th, and 9th carrier battle groups have been recalled from their deployment in Feazanthia, and hostilities there have been dropped accordingly. We do not condone Feazanthia's nuclear threats, although Feazanthia's good graces previously with our government will not fade easily. We hope the situation is resolved, war is averted, and Feazanthia will have re-established its international reputation in a few year's time.
The 1st carrier battle group on station in Colerica will remain there, supporting the land forces that Zoogiedom has committed. All of the army personell, now numbering 52,000, will remain there, including all logistics, support, and hardware equipment and personell. All pilots and aircraft/helicopters will also remain.
Overall control of the combat theatre has been transferred to the Colerican general in command (Meaning basically, that you get to control ALL of my forces as if I were not on break and you get access to all my intelligence and infrastructure of mine in the roleplay). Feel free to change any character names, as I have really no care for the random names I've generated and will have soon forgotten anyways.
We hereby ask that any thread created by Zoogiedom be NOT replied to, as we will have copied all data from them in case of its deletion. NO storefront purchases by ANY nation will be responded to, and is therefore useless. Save it for the summer, guys. And if you really wish to purchase any of the four aircraft I've got on sale, if you aren't an ally in any of my alliance forums, tough luck for you. If you are, then I am willing to respond through there.

Chinese Army has withdrawn all forces from central China in light of a pending civil war. We will, however, delegate $20bn to the allied effort of decimating the Jingzhou forces in the region.
Chinese Army forces have recently fully conquered and brought under its rule its only bordering neighbor, Nungenshmargen, who was actively supporting attacks on Chinese Army civilian vessels and citizens. After this annexation and liberation of the Nungenshmargen forces, as well as the expulsion of the Liberal-est Army terrorist network there, population has been increased by roughly five hundred million.
However, elections resulted in a sweeping Nationalist Party victory, with its leader a younger cousin of the cruel totalitarian dictator that plunged lofty flowering Zoogiedom into dark times in the early 1960s. Outrage over unfair elections and corruption have engulfed Chinese Army, and the elected dictator has responded with force, slaughtering civilians with AK-74 fire by the all-pervasive police forces in the streets; sending his massive private army to attack and kill those who resisted him; and bringing the entire country under the fearful grasp of his fist.
Freedoms have been literally shut down in the span of less than a week, and Chinese Army's border completely closed.
However, a leader of Scottish origin, Nathan West, is organizing a resistance force. A conservative capitalist and heavy believer in democracy, West is using his political influence to tip a delicate balance in the nation of Chinese Army. He is gathering defects and equipment, as well as a good deal of money through undercover operatives.
Recently, a salvage operation sponsored by West has secretly lifted $28bn worth of gold and precious metals and materials from the bottom of the sea, dating at least four hundred years into the past. With enormous war chests already stacked and an (uncommitted) supporter base of 220 million strong, West believes he has enough to fund a civil war.
Of course, who knows how long that would last. Zoogiedom president William Ciel Fontair has authorized a secret redirection of military funds towards West's cause, delegating a promised $62bn per year to help the civil war cause. Zoogiedom intelligence operatives are secretly engaged in a massive operation to generate gold for Nathan West's war chest, which included Cherubic Intelligence Agency aided secret salvages of underwater treasures, bodyguard protection for high profile rebellion leaders such as West by the Secret Service, and the most massive operations theatre the Definitely Everyday Normal People agency has ever been engaged in, with 6,000 of its operatives in the country.
This generates an extra (estimated) $80bn per year in theft and smuggling for the resistance cause and in addition, Zoogiedom personal arms, resistance weapons, supplies, and assembly parts for tanks and armoured vehicles are being shipped to the resistance cause. Heavy duty equipment is being stolen from the Facist government along with defects, and the situation is at a breaking point.
Civil War is due to unfold very, very soon. DENP head John no-middle-name Brown has advised Nathan West to hold off for four or five years before breaking tensions apart in full civil war. The 32-year old Brown has so far been highly secretive and seen as only a small problem, although the Facist infrastructure has several gaping holes. A civil war, however, even in six years or more, would be a very risky order of business.
When I return, I may be looking for someone to roleplay with Zoogiedom, as I've got this OOC urge to annex somebody. Maybe. Perhaps. ;)
Chinese Army's civil war will occur when I return as well, and ultimately (spoiler, sorry) result in the victory for Nathan West's forces, with backing from Zoogiedom and several other nations (will be looking funders/supporters for Nathan West when I get back) and the establishment of a democratic government once again, named some weird random name. In West's honor, however, some Scottish reporter will dub the nation 'West's Scotland,' one day, with no ramnifications in mind, and the name of the nation will be known to all henceforth as West Scotland. And thusly is solved the problem of having two alternate roleplaying nations and combining them into one.
