The D-71 has been in production for quite some time. It Moderate armoury gives the ability to take control of the skys. The Dragon-71 is meant to fully replace the predator and fight side by side with the D-raptor and escort the monsoon bomber. It is Predicted to become a front line fighter. It's ability to be placed on a carrier or land base is quite nice.
4 heatseeker missiles are the best dracun can produce attacking the identified targets engines so even if it is not a direct hit it will still cause the plane to fall to the ground. In all in all The d-71 is a grand fighter and is a great work of machine

if you relized i said comment or suggestion not stupid remarks. Some designer are not good with military technology so use our stats based on rl fighters as long as we change them around a little or none at all.=

Sidewinders are heat seekers...

With a greater thrust output than the basic typhoon you could probabaly bump the paylaod up a little.

A straight Air to air load for the typoon would be 6 medium to long rnage missiles (AMRAAM or meteor) 3 fuel tanks and 2 (possibly 4) short rnage missiles (such as sidewinder, ASRAAM or IRIS-T).


From your current stats it sounds liek your heat seekers are fairly large missiles which could indicate them as being MICA-IRs (MICA is a missile system that can use heat seeking(IR) or radar (RF) giudance for short to medium rnage work).

Most new generation IR giuded missiles actually us a Infra red (IR) imaging sensor so that they actually "see" the target and not just heat sources making them less vunerable to flares they also tend to use the heat generated by the friction of the air passing over the craft as well as engine exhaust.
