The Schultarian Defense Forces (SDF), are looking for reputable defense contractors to assist our nation in helping to modernize our Airforce and Strategic Missile Defense sectors.

At present, our national air defense force is strong, but on a average of 10 to 30 years out of date with the rest of our armed forces. This is the primary area where our defensive forces need the greatest enhancement, though we are also open to mobile ground to (air / missile) defenses. With our Airforce, we are looking for aircraft which can suit the following requirements.

+Must approximately relate with the technical levels of 2050-2100.
+These planes must possess a certain level of versatility. (Preferably a combination of Air Superiority and a Joint Strike Fighter/Bomber)
+They must be capable of either VTOL or short runway flight.

We will be willing to negotiate a larger settlement, but our current offer is a 15 year, 350 Billion Dollar, contract.

The Commonwealth recently moved into naval aircraft R&D. Our Seabolt Multi-Role Fighter might fit your needs. It has Joint Strike ability and can also function as a high-speed bomber. Designed to be completely stealth, the wing structure and plate alloys are formulated to absorb radar. Is also carrier capable. We also have a modified JSF that's cheaper but still capable.

OOC: Capsule Corp, the technology is just on the bleeding edge of what my nation can actively sustain technologically. Just make sure to suggest a specific model and then it shall be in the running for a contract.

The ZaS-27 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140675&highlight=) is a very capable modern air superiority fighter. It's basically the equivalent in role to the F-22, but it's vastly superior...however, it's quite expensive. Stealthy, few control surfaces for streamlined frame, power, full 3D thrust vectorign engines, and a considerable suite of electronics, the ZaS-27 is also capable of near perfect ASTOVL, hindered only by the payload it is often tasked to carry.

The ZaS-42 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140087&highlight=) is a light, joint-branch strike fighter, with stealth technology and cost-affordability, particularly in export versions. With numerous electronics and systems, the ZaS-42 is an easy alternative to the JSF.

The C-71 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=131905&highlight=) is a fairly expensive and very, very large - 180 tons or so - military airlift using the highly innovative box wing design. While not the largest cargo in the world :pouts at Raysia NVTOL: and not the shortest landing cargo in the world :pouts again at Raysia NVTOL:, the C-71 features an extensive countermeasures suite to keep it up in the air and ensure a smooth navigation.

The C-240 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=127367&highlight=) is a medium, supersonic military airlift that also delpoys paras. It uses a variant of the box wing, the joined wing concept, itself a derivative of the blended wing concept. It also has a tanker version for midair refueling, electronic warfare platform for distracting enemy signals, and a cruise missile platform for when you feel this urge to blow the crap out of somebody but are too lazy to mobilize.

new harrier SC-HJ8 is a space capable interceptor/bomber
powered by both air breathing and sub-light engines. this
aircraft can take-off and land vertically and has a large
payload. crew of 2.

Starstreak SAM missile system fires a hybrid missile up to
a range of +35 km. equipped with an advanced radar this
missile will not be fooled by any decoy currently available.

the Starstreak SC is also for sale which can hit
targets sitting in orbit with devestating effect.

New weapon for our aircraf and missile systems:
Challenger 2 has recently developed a new enhanced nitro rocket for use with our aircraf and missile systems. unlike normal HE [high explosive] this will instantly freeze the target, encasing it in a thick layer of ice ! 8)

with the weight of the ice wings will snap off and engines will stall
