Earlier today the first Xaniq intifada began when armed workers seized all foreign industries, and all neocolonialists were ordered to leave the country within 48 hours. The dismantling of factories, refineries and other industrial projects began shortly after the workers seized control.

Within hours, however, foreign paramilitaries began to stage attacks on the industrial complexes in order to retake them. For the past few hours, the workers have been engaged with the paramilitaries. Scouts on the outskirts of Xaniq territory report more paramilitary elements entering the country, and several divisions of the intertribal milita have been deployed to head off this threat.

We are currently requesting assisstance from those who oppose neocolonialism and imperialism. Any sort of air patrol would be especially appreciated, as our nation possesses no air force. We can offer payment of any oil or other resources left behind by the neocolonialists.

Thank You.

We only need them to patrol our airspace. Combat will only be neccesary if a large movement of enemy troops is spotted on the ground, or if there is an invasion of our airspace.

If there is an invasion via air, our pilots will kill them before they know we are there.

Update:

Things have quieted down significantly, at least for the moment. Several large movements of foreigners have been bombed by the loaned aircraft, and it appears most other foreign elements have begun a slow retreat. Several oil wells have been set ablaze, turning the sky in some areas black, and undoubtedly having an adverse affect on local water systems and wildlife. Nonetheless, the people of Xaniqall are thrilled that the foreign invaders have been repelled, and large celebrations are planned for the following days.

Until the Xaniqall forces withdraw from the Austar Union's island chain, we will withdraw our forces from Xaniqall.

We of Xaniqall thank you for lending them anyway. We would have shortly returned them, as the fighting seems to have ended.

Arms production has been stepped up, as has training of the tribes, in the event of possible war.
