Xaniqall

Brief history: In the late 19th century, Xaniqall came under the control of foreign imperialists. In the 1950's, after the resistance and struggle for autonomy, Xaniqall's many tribes were liberated from imperialist rule. Over the following decades, their traditional lands felt the full thrust of neocolonialism, and many multinationals began to export resources, particularly oil and gold. These industries were worked by low paid tribesman typically forced into labor via foreign military elements. Very little, if any, of the profits went to the people of Xaniqall. Beyond foreign corporations efforts, there exists almost no industry to speak of in Xaniqall, save some weapons manufacturing.
--------------------------------------------
Beginning immediately, the tribes of Xaniqall declare an end to foreign domination via the first Xaniq intifada. All foreign industries have been seized by armed workers and all foreign owners and other neocolonialist elements have been given 48 hours to leave the country, or they will face punishment at the hands of the workers. All foreign industry operations are being shut down and will be destroyed as soon as possible. Scrap will go towards increased weapon production. All tribes are armed, and prepared to resist attempts to reinstate neocolonialist rule. Long live the intifada!
