That doesn't make it 2010-2022. If humanity was that close, the F-22 Raptor would be a transforming battle robot.

My own personal view, of course, is that we'll never make aerodynamic flying machines with curving wings...I mean, look at the shape of that! It's also my belief that a flying machine that transforms into a robot is entirely unfeasible...well, perhaps in three or four centuries. You never know.
