Grays Hill forces base closure..ATTN Derscon (Private RP)
Grays Hill

The day was young. The sun had barly begun to light the earth, when all of a sudden 3 B-2 Stealth bombers roared over head of AC-425 Armored Corps base in the Grays Hillian capital of Beaufort. They dropped their Satelite guided bombs on their targets. Their targets were Radar depots. The goal was to take out the Dersconian radar so the Grays Hillian military could come in and capture the base.
Within an hour 38 Self-Propelled Crusaders had surrounded the base and had begun to fire upon the base, hitting and destroying anything that they could. At that moment, 6 of the Air Force's F-16s were fireing upon tanks and other armored cars.
Operation Thuder Strike had comminced. The capture of the base was to be quick and decisive. The 89th Infantry Brigade along with 500 Spec. Ops. Solders were riding towards the base. It wasn't goign to be long now...
A corporal came running in to the General Staff meeting. "Sir! Sir! FLASH traffic from AC-425!"
"Son of a BITCH!" Field Marshal Frederick von Hindenburg, CINCARMY yelled. "THIS IS NOT WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW!"
"Can we order anything?" Aerostalvich asked. "The Chairman isn't here."
"Yes, we can," Sith Lord Adolf Hitler said. "By a two-thirds majority, we can declare the Chairman unable to command intelligently, and override him, in which case the CINCARMY would take command."
"Well?" Hindenburg asked. "All in favor, say 'aye'."
"Aye," was the chorus from the council.
"There," Hitler said. "By a unanamous decision, Hindenburg hereby takes the chair. Now things can be done."
"Okay. Corporal, i assume those are recon photos?"
"Yessir."
"Open them up." The Corporal opened the breifcase up and pulled out seven photos. "May I speak, sir?"
"Yes, you may."
"Okay," the corporal began. "At 0615, AC-425 was bombarded, as you can see in #1 and #2." He showed them the approach of the stealth bombers and then the missile strikes. "These Special Forces units are going to attempt to take the base, and will succeed. There is one method of escape. The tunnel network connecting the bases in Gray's Hill. Some people and tanks will not make it, but there is enough explosives in the base to take out half of Manhattan. That will vaporize the base, so there is nothing left of it, and nothing to take. Meanwhile, the men and armored vehicles can take the tunnels to AC-720, about 300 miles Westward. from there, they can be reinforced to take Beaufort."
"What are you trying to say?" Blomberg asked.
"I am saying that get as many vehicles out of there as possible, then blow the base, and then take the capitol city."
"Ah. Without blowing the base, since I would like to take it, is there any way to get troops in there?" Hindenburg asked the corporal.
"Well, you can't get in by land. That's obvious. The capitol is landlocked, so you can't get in by water. The air patrols are too heavy, so you can't get in by plane. That leaves one way in."
"Space," Aerostalvich said.
"Exactly. You could go through the tunnels, but I sugesst not. In fact, I suggest, after evacuation, sealing the tunnels. As in caving the entrance it so they don't find it."
"Well," Hindenburg said. "We go in by Space. Corporal!"
"Yessir?"
"Use the phone over there. Tell AC-425 to hold them off until as much stuff and people as possible is evac'd to AC-720, then seal the tunnel.
"Yessir."
"Aerostalvich."
"Yes?"
"Prepare the landing craft for the Marines and the SPARTANS."

AC-425
"Thank you, goodbye." The Base Commander hung up the phone. "This is the Commandant speaking. Evac NOW! ON THE DOUBLE!" He screamed in to the intercom system. The artillery and bombing strikes eliminated their artillery defense, so they couldn't really hold them off. A brigade of Scorpion Plasma cannon tanks was brought up to fight off the artillery, and two brigades of M1A2 battle tanks were brought up, also. Out of the remaining twenty brigades of armored vehicles, fifteen made it through the tunnels when the Spacial Forces got to the base.

The Marines in the base fired upon the Gray's SPECOPS, and held them back.
"Sir!" A captain said to the Commandant. "All armored brigades have been e-vac'd except the one's on the lines!"
"Okay!" the Commandant yelled over the noise. "Het the Scorpions the hell out of here!"
"Yessir!" The Captain ran to the Scorpion Brigade commander and told him to e-vac. The Commandant saw the Scorpion's pull out to the bunker. After about five minutes, the Captain came back. "Sir! The Scorpions are rolling!"
"Okay! Get the human personell out of here NOW!"
"Yessir!" After about fifteen minutes of fighting, the captain came back again. "Sir! Everybody but you, me, and the two M1A2 brigades are gone!"
"Good! Now le -- " He was cut short by a Gray's sniper that picked him off. The captain, being a marksman, turned around and shot the sniper with a pistol, but afterwards was mowed down by a wave of Gray's Hill Marines. Once that happened, a Derscon Marine Captain ran in to the bunker. A Gray's soldier tried to follow, but could not get the huge blast door to open. Two minutes later, a huge explosion rocked the base. The Gray's Marine was killed in the blast. After that, a deafening scilence gripped the base. The Derscon soldiers in the tanks were taken out, tied up, and thrown in the command building, and the Abrams were driven back in to their hangars. AC-425 was now in the hands of Gray's Hill.

Planet Spaklaekoff --- the Heartland of the Derscon Empire
(((((((( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=143657&highlight= ))))))))
Amid the 500 SPARTAN-II soldiers, Prince Otto von Bismark got a call.
[code:1:846cec4fc9]
Bimsarck: Hello?
Caller: Sir, this is Hindenburg. Did you get the message?
Bismarck: Yes, I did.
Hindenburg: We need the SPARTANS at the Derscon Mothership in Earth's orbit, and we need them there by yesterday.
Bismarck: Gotchya. Out.[/code:1:846cec4fc9]
Bismarck got back up on the stand. "SPARTANS! Your first mission is awaiting! Go, now! You will be breifed at your destination!"
The SPARTAN soldiers all got aboard the carrier ship. One hour later, they were at the Derscon Mothership, awaiting their orders.

With AC-425 now in their hands, Grays Hill then turned towards AC-720, and space...
The Space Commander's chief assistant can running into the room with a hand full of papers. He screamed "SIR! SIR! We have reason to believe a strike from space! Our satalites detect a slight movement..."
The Commander of the Fleet replied" Very Well. Activate the entire space fleet. Spread them out so that nothing can get through undetected. And put them on the highest alert possible. Make them shoot and destroy even the smallest space particle that moves...These bastards wont be able to come through...The might of Grays Hill shall push them out of our country, and keep them out."
The space fleet was now ready for any attack. All 750 Fighters were deployed scouting for anything that moved. The Space Fleet was spread out to where nothing could get through without being seen.
Back on Earth, the focus turned towards AC-720. Grays Hill had stormed AC-425 and obtained knowledge of the secret underground tunnels. Now, a stealth bombing squadron, equipt with 10 B-2 Stealth Bombers and 20 F-22 Stealth Fighters as escorts made their way to AC-720. They then began a massive bombing of the base. Then 5 F-15s took off, fully loaded with "Bunker Buster" bombs...They were to penetrate the tunnels and blow them up, making them impassible by anybody. Another Infantry Brigade along with 1,000 ground soldiers made their way to AC-720. A fiercer fight was expected to be put up, because some of the soldiers had made it through the tunnel and into AC-720.
OOC: Edit that post. I never deployed any space fleet in to your territory. The SPARTANS entered the Derscon Mothership, which is floating around in DERSCON territory. Also, there is no way you could have learned about the tunnels. You can't even access the bunker where they are hidden. And even if you do, all you will see is a wall.

I will take the space bit out, but if you read the post, it said I found maps of the tunnels on the base that I took. So I know where they are, so I blew them up with bunker bustes.
OOC: Saw it and thanks. Missed the part about the maps, though. Sorry.

AC-720
"Sir," the Lieutenant said to the Commandant, Major General Michael Gorbentov.
"Yes?" the commandant asked.
"You have read the reports about AC-425?"
"Yes, lieutenant, I have."
"There are Gray's forces out to do the same to us. They are about twenty-four hours out, though," the lieutenant said. "They are approaching from the East." The Commandant went a little pale, and his knuckles tightened around the plastic coffee mug, making them go white. "Send the base to DEFCON ONE: Code Red," the Commandant said cooly.
"Yessir." The lieutenant snapped a salute and went to the base comm system.
[code:1:e6aa2fdc6b]ALL MEN! REPORT TO DEFCON ONE: CODE RED! GRAY'S FORCES APPROACHING FROM THE EAST! APPROXIMATELY TWENTY FOUR HUNDRED OUT! MOVE IT![/code:1:e6aa2fdc6b]
The Commandant called FM Hindenburg back at the Derscon capitol.
[code:1:e6aa2fdc6b]
Gorbentov: Field Marshal Hindenburg?
Hindenburg: Yes? Who is this?
Gorbentov: This is Major General Michael Gorbentov, Commandant of AC-720.
Hindenburg: I know all about your problems. There are reinforcements coming from Space and from AC-300 in Diminix.
Gorbentov: Thank you, sir. Good bye.
Hindenburg: Good luck.[/code:1:e6aa2fdc6b]
The line went dead as the Commandant walked to his Warthog and drove to the tunnel bunker. AC-720 was like the Derscon AC "Headquarters" in Gray's Hill. HE parked at the door and walked down, and passing two pairs of blast doors, entered the Tunnel Moniter Room. "What's the situation," the Commandant asked the Major.
"Well, sir, as you can see, these sections were blown." He pointed to thirty different sections of the tunnel. "Thankfully, they were behind the first section of the e-vacees from AC-425. They should be rolling in here in about a half an hour. The bad news is that the second section was cut off. They could go this way, but that would take them above ground, and that wouldn't do."
"Then how are they going to get here?" the Commandant asked.
"By this," the Major said. He went over to the safe and typed in the combination. He withdrew a CD-ROM and inserted it in to the slot. New, red-tinted tunnels appeared. "These are emergency tunnels. I worked with the lead designer for this, who happens to be with the second group, thank God. He's a paranoid son of a bitch, so he put these in, but didn't put them on the map."
"Why not?" the Commandant asked.
"In case the map got in to enemy hands," the Major replied.
"I see. Well, tell me when they get here."
"Yessir." The Major saluted as the General walked off. The General went to the Eastern front to see the lines. He picked up his binoculars to see the early warning brigade out further. "Hmm," he said as he counted. "Two mobile radar, one mobile stealth-detector radar, two Scorpion tanks, six M1A2 Abrams tanks, four Vulcan antiaircraft tanks, and it looks like ten Warthogs." The Gorbentov was pleased, as he saw that that was the group out at every single front. "Colonel," he said to the Eastern Front CINC.
"Yes, sir?" the colonel responded.
"Put double that count at the Eastern Front."
"Yes, sir." He shouted the orders in the radio and then said, "anything else, sir?"
"Yes," Gorbentov said. "What's the count?"
"Okay, sir. At the gates other than this, there are twenty Abrams, ten Scorpions, Five Vulcans, Twenty-five warthogs, and approximately one thousand Marines. Here, we have double that," the colonel said proudly. "Also, there are about forty Howitzers scattered about. And the Ghost plasma hovercraft vehicles, we have them, too. fifteen there, thirty here. Banshee low altitude plasma attack vehicles are at the fronts, too. again, ten and twenty. As you can here, there is about 300 Eagles ant Falcons flying about."
"Good," the Commandant. "I need more, though. Set it up, and report back.
"Yessir."
OOC: Saw it and thanks. Missed the part about the maps, though. Sorry.
