The Zefyereichtz Independánce Organiquéz Näitional, (Nationalist Zefyeren Independance Organization) or ZION, has launched a wave of bombings in several major Zefyeren cities.

A man strapped with dynamite and ball-bearings blew up himself and fifteen other people on a bus in downtown Pyorf[/], the new capital of Zefyrz. Over thirty other people were injured.

Another blast killed three Galdanian soldiers on patrol in Zefyrz' only major port city, [i]Mürmaanzk. The bomb was in the trunk of a car, and was exploded just as the soldiers were passing.

Six people were killed and seventeen injured at a gas station on the Zefyeren-Galdanian border when several masked man opened fire on the gas tanks. One of the attackers was killed in the explosion, and another by one of the surviving soldiers stationed at the refueling depot.

A newspaper run by the Zefyeren Socialist Party was the target of an attack in the evening, in which the main printing presses were heavily damaged by Molotov Cocktails. No one was injured, as the attack took place after-hours.

A bomb was also found in the trunk of another car in Pyorf, but Galdanian soldiers managed to disarm the device successfully.

ZION has claimed responsibilty for all of the attacks, which it claims are to "put pressure on the Galdanian 'occupiers'", as stated in a videotape sent to an independant media station.

Zefyrz is a semi-autonomous state, and part of the new Socialist Union of Galdania, which comprises twenty-three states, all governed over by the Galdanian Central Authority, headed by President Abu Dihavil. However, ZION believes that Galdania is forcing it's political ideology on the other states of the Union. The ZIONists claim that Galdania is trying to extend it's power over other nations.

Minister Werter sighed dejectedly and sank into the back of his chair as he brought his computer up.

The Grand Duchy of Monte Ozarka is a nation of freedoms and democracy, and we encourage all nations of the world to embrace those principles, as well. However, terrorism is never the correct method of bringing about change. All that can come from terrorist attacks are the deaths and injuries of innocent civilians. It is with that in mind that I, speaking on behalf of the GDMO government, officially condemn this attack against blameless civilians.

An attack within Galdania, in the western province of Myorz has left a proffessor of political study at Myorz University, Dmitri Katyozorvichtz, dead. Katyozorvichtz was the brother of Tarthar Katyozorvichtz, Premier of Myorz province.

A soldier in the area (soldiers patrol every inch of Galdania at every second of the day) opened fire on two men seen fleeing the scene. Both men were killed after they took refuge in a nearby farmhouse, which was set on fire by the army.

Nyvön Ryblski, the head editor of Pravda, a socialist magazine headed in Zefyrz, was assassinated by ZION last evening as he ate dinner in his apartement. The gunman, who was captured after a brief battle with Galdanian soldiers, has been identified as Tyorrmi Vazzenkilev, a resident of Ryblski's building. Vazzenkilev admitted to being a member of ZION, and gave the location of a ZION operating base. Soldiers stormed the factory indicated by Vazzenkilev, but found no evidence that ZION had ever operated from the location.

Vazzenkilev could face the death penalty if he does not supply reliable information on ZION.

In Pyorf, sixteen people were arrested after a Galdanian raid on a night club called Lá Bonché. No one was injured, and no weapons were found at the club. However, the Galdanian Central Authority has stated that Lá Bonché is still a "place of interest" in the investigation of ZION activities.

OOC: ZION believes that the Socialist Union of Galdania (search for a nation named 'Galdania') is imposing it's will upon various other semi-autonomous nations within the SUG. The SUG is actually composed of twenty-four naions, including Galdania, Zefyrz, Balalaika, and many others. The SUG is socialist, but allows sugnificant freedoms to all peoples within it's borders. Zefyrz attempted to break away fifteen years ago, but held out for only 45 days before Galdanian paratroopers seized the nation over the course of only 40 hours. The fascist leader of the uprising, who had socialist tendancies (and could be desribed as more of a Stalinist than fascist), Ijon Jamed (pronounced 'Jhon Hameed'), is still in jail in Galdania City, the capital of Galdania. ZION wants to free Jamed and 'free' Zefyrz by withdrawing from the SUG.

ZION has reformed Jamed's theories, and instead of making Zefyrz a nationalist state that would attempt to conquer Galdania and all of the SUG (which would be utterly impossible), ZION now wishes simply to be an independant nation that would be able to govern itself without intervention by the Galdanian Central Authority.

Jamed originally argued that all Galdanians within Zefyrz should be 'purged', and be either killed or expelled from Zefyrz.

ZION is linked to the Balalaikan rebel leader, Raith Mohammed, who recently defeated nearly 8,000 Galdanian regulars with less than 600 nomadic horsemen.
