This does not give away the position of the ship but it does let the enemy know that they are there. The only way that it can be defeated is with ECCM, (Electronic Counter-Counter Measures.)

RULES: Confuses all radar/sonar within 30 miles, but can be defeated by ECCM, if the ECCM operator gets a higher Sensory Instruments percentage roll against the ECM operator.

MK 36 SUPER RAPID-BLOOMING OFF BOARD CHAFF/ FLARE DECOY DISPENSORS (4): The carriers counter-measures dispensors consist of six six-barrelled 130mm Chaff/Flare launchers. Triggered by the Principal Weapons Officer, (PWO,) they will release either a chaff cloud or single flare depending on what the PWO chooses. They are used to confuse enemy missiles attacking the ship. Smart missiles get a 20% bonus when rolling on the below chart.

The Tidal class battleship only has three 24 inch guns? If it has nine (in three triple turrets), I'd be interested in buying them.

You realize how big a ship would need to be to carry that many guns? 1500 feet or more, with very little else on the ship. People have no grasp of naval vessel abilities; godmodding is worse in the naval sector than anywhere else, by far.

Oh, and Dracun, everything in your store is godmoddingly low priced. Your tank is about 1/40 of the price it should be, your battleship is about 1/3 what it should be, your attack chopper is about 1/80 of what it should be, your carrier has 1/4 the crew it should have and is 2/5 of the price it should be, your "D-Raptor" is about 1/225 the price it should be, and the A-10 you have doesn't even have a price listed.

Summary: Godmodding, owner and all who purchase from him ignored until corrected.

Normally I'd agree with you that the gun sizes in the NS world are patently unrealistic, but I think the fact that so many people seem to be building these super-battleships and buying them and using them makes it too widespread to call it godmodding.

And yes, I realize the size of the ship would be prohibitively large... in fact, too big to be of any use in the RL world. But that doesn't seem to be an obstacle to folks here in NS. :roll:

That wasn't spamming; that was constructive criticism, even if it was harsh. If it was spamming, I would've put tons of links to GMI in the post and tried to entice you and your customers to buy from me.

Anyway.

www.fas.org is your friend. You can find prices for a wide variety of military systems here. They're transferring between site designs, though, so their main search features is down, and you have to go in through back links or google searches (IE: Go to google, type in something like "Apache FAS" and look for the fas.org link).

Your tank should be around $4 million.

Your battleship is alright, as long as it's still conventional power.

Your attack chopper should be between $12 and $20 million, probably closer to 20 as it looks like a modified Russian HIND.

Your carrier needs a crew of about 3200 ship's company plus 2500 or so for the airwing, and it should cost around $4.5 billion.

Your "D-Raptor" is an F-16 Fighting Falcon; costs around $27 million.

The Warthog is around $13 million.
