OOC: In order to set the scene for what is about to take place in Jarridia, I am going to inform you of a section of the Jarridian Constitution.

Article II, Section 5:
“In the event of a catastrophic act, or other deadly incident, the President may seek a ‘Right of Power.’ This will give the President supreme power over the land, until the date in which Congress has declared the rights end. If no date is set, then the President will have this right for life.”

This is the basis of what will happen, the outcome of this thread will decide the future of Jarridia.

Inside the Presidential Office, Jarridian Palace, Shelbin

President Sikes sat in his chair reading over a document, suddenly Kim Shaffer, the Secretary of State entered. Sikes quickly pushed the papers into a draw (hiding them, if you will), and spoke sharply at her.

“What is this? Do you people not knock anymore? I could have been in the middle of an important phone call!” frowned Sikes.

“Sorry, but this is a matter of extreme importance. Matich has ended is alliance with us. This is a terrible loss to our foreign appeal.” Explained Kim.

“Good! I say good riddance to them,” smiles Sikes, leaning back in his chair, “We never needed them in the first place, Jarrod only allied with them because he felt we needed to have foreign relations. I think that’s daft! What has it got us? Into wars, and attacked by terrorists. I say no more……now will you please leave?”

“Yes sir, I just thought you would want to know,” Kim said with a sigh, she had never seen him with this horrible attitude.

Kim exits the office; President Sikes digs out the papers and continues to read over them, there is a soft ring on a phone. Sikes reached under the desk and picks it up

“Is everything ready?”

*mumbles on the other side*

“Excellent, our plan will be fool proof! Jarridia will be mine!” says Sikes with a smile, “We will attack in the morning, good day”

*more mumbles and then they hang-up*

“This could not have worked out any better!” says Sikes lighting a cigar, he looks out the window at the busy streets around him, “They just have no idea, Clueless! This has been so simple. All around me! Signs of where Jarrod was a weak man. No more! I will make Jarridia powerful!”

“Alright men! You know what to do. The time for the Jarridian awakening has begun!” said Max Tasy, “go!”

In the early morning, around 7:00 a.m., 10 unmarked B-2, and 35 F-15 (but considered a Smithsilian design) soar through the sky, heading towards the large port city of Kiakor. Approximately 5 minutes after take off the enter Kiakorian Airspace. The bombs drop along the industrial and commercial areas. Hundreds of buildings are shaken by this sudden and deliberate attack. Skyscrapers fall to the ground, docks sink in the angry ocean. The Central District of Kiakor is covered in smoke and has been reduced to rubble. Thousands are pronounced dead, and that death toll is expected to increase.


President Sikes flips on the television in his room.

“It’s unbelievable! There has been a massive attack on Kiakor! The city is literally no more.” The announcer says frightened.

Kurt Greenacre and Kim Shaffer, hurry into the room

“Mr. President! There has been a massive attack upon Kiakor. Our tracing show that they are Smithsilian bombers and fighters!” says Kurt.

“What!?!?! This is terrible, ready the military at once Kurt, this will not stand! Kim, get the press room ready and call a session of Congress. We have decisions to make!”

“Yes sir,” Kim and Kurt say at the same time as they leave.

OOC: Just a side note. For those wanting to help, the attack on Kiakor was NOT perpetrated by Smithsilian. During the Smithso-Jarridian Wars, Jarridia captured much of the Smithsilian Air-force. Sikes has used it on himself.

President Anthony Raymond Wittrock sat in the lazy boy chair as he read over a book on Political Science as his Secretary of State, Glen Rendall and the Secretary of National Defense, Fred Moesta quickly enter the Office.

Glen Rendall cleared his throat then spoke, "A country has been attacked, Mister President."

President Wittrock threw the book aside as he stood to his feet, "Is she one of our allies?"

Glen Rendall and Fred Moesta shook their head no, "No, Mister President. In fact we just have a Non Aggression Pact that was signed over three years ago."

President Wittrock in thought walked to his desk then turned around to face the two gentlemen, "Then who?"

They both replied, "Jarridia."

President Wittrock, "How should we approach?"

"Cautiously, Mister President." Moesta replied and continued.

"Do they oppose any threat to us?"

"No, Mister President."

"Get a hold with their leader quickly. I want some answers and try and find out who their attackers are."

The president somberly walk to the podium his eyes gazed at the crowd as he backed away and repositioned himself.

" Today one of our allies has been attacked, we are currently setting up anti aircraft batteries," said the president and a sorrow filled sigh filled the crowd, a little relief and alot of grief, with a pause the president spoke again his voice grim

" We are not sure which country has orchastrated these terrible attacks. But we will not take any chances" the crowd clapped and he once again.

" Once determined who ordered these attacks, you can be certain we will get them," he ponced out of his words with a firm tone.

" We reccomend you prepare air raid shelters in any case. Crimsdale has seen alot of violence in the past years, but we will not back down from a fight. Thankyou for your time," and with that he raised his hand in an attempt to stop cheers as he walked away.


7:00 PM, Lohck, eastern port town.

Two large ships were tugged out to sea, thier hulls empty.

" Sir operation Dead Revolver is ready," then young mans hand fell to his side and he stomped and did an about turn.

7:35 PM, Lohck, township apartments.

" Mom come quick," yelled a young boy. In the harbour was a magnifecent flash. It illuminated the Dark sky with ease showering blue sparks apoun the shallow harbour.

" Oh god," said an old women on the adjacent belcony. With horror another one of these bright bombs exploded over the harbour, just as the other began to lose light it relit like a candle in a fire. The buildings around the shores of the harbour decintagrated.

" Holy shit, whats going on?!" Yelled the mother, as she grabbed her young son

" Royn, go to your room right now!" she shouted

" But Mom I want to watc the fireworks," he replied

" Go or you'll be grounded," she turned and said. With that the boy doddled off to his room.

The ocean evaporated around the harbour and what was left was a green marshy goo.

President Boudinot looked at the television thoughtfully. He remembered a debacle the previous president, James Flaggenmead, had acted too quickly in foreign matters. Boudinot turned to his Foreign Secretary, Dan Wittenburg, "This doesn't make anysense." mulled the President. "Unmarked aircraft, they could not have just come out of no where." Wittenburg nodded, "Sir, I smell a fish."
"Issue the proclamation, though, I think it is sufficient for the time being."

The Congress has voted its supreme sympathies toward the people of Jarridia. As president, I denounce this vile attack on our fellow Republic, and promise that Kaufmanstad will aid Jarridia in rebuilding.

"Last night a terrible act of violence was bestowed apoun Lohck harbour, not the act of foreign nations," the well know anchor motion to the screen, on blinked the horrible images of the now desolet harbour.

As shots flashed on screen the man spoke again,

" large cargo boats were seen being tugged out to sea buy tugs. When the police were contacted they rejected an interview. One off duty cop, who doesn't want to be named , said this, " The government has been working on a new type of raidiation bomb. one that magnafies plutonium. It's very in inexpensive, and highly effective as can be seen" We will have more on the story as it happens."

With that final photos were shown of people rushing into Lohck general hospital.

The GDMO government condemns the perpetrators of this terrible, unprovoked attack against the people of Jarridia. Do not hesitate to call upon us for humanitarian aid, and, pending the outcome of these events, do not hestitate to ask for GDMO military assistance, as well.

"Sir," Secretary of Forgien Relations Greg Torvier said to the the President, "A nation close by has been attacked by unidentified aircraft, leveled some pretty big cities sir,"

President Matt Angelo stood there, smoking a cigar and said with a calm steady voice, "The nation? What's the name? Relations?"

Looking surprised, Torvier replyed just as he openned a portfolio and started reading from the text, "Jarridia is a nation which has no diplomatic relations with us, never in our history, and has a strickly drawn constitution. Thier military is above average, in a past war with Smithsilian Forces, lead to many aircraft and supplies in the hands of the Jarridian Forces, our intelligance says they are of Smithsilian diesign, but we highly doubt that they could have-"

"So what your saying is, we have no past or current relations, they have been hit and lost quite a bit of people, and you may think it's the Smithsilians?" President Angelo interupted,

"No sir, as I was saying, we highly doubt they would attempt this, expesially if thier military is still weak. We have intelligance on any movement by sea or land torward the Jarrician Borders, we may have reason to belive that there is an other nation in this." As Torvier finished, President Angelo took a long drag on his cigar, set it down, and pushed a blue button on a small box intercom to his right, next to a computer,

"Mrs. Ralley, please call Major General James Townsend in here please."

"Mister President Sir, Major General Townsed is in an important meeting on our soda shipment, pirate problims, is it manditory?"

"Of cource, get him in here admidiatly!"

As the three men talk about the bombings, the details and estimated casualties, President Angelo bursts out in the middle of a discription notice handed to Major General Townsend just a few minutes earlyier about the F-15s,

"Alright, so, should we send in a few of our people to help up with clean up, or little them do thier own damn buisness?" He said, abviously agervated with the long conversation, and showing his short attention span,

"I say lets send a notice to them that we are here with at least 3,000 men that we can deploy for law inforcment, and 1,000 for medical care, becouse from our information, these were some big cities, and they are all gone, which means, the hospitals, and maybe the police, and I highly doubt their National Guard could do this by thier selves." Townsend says closing photographs of comparisons of the Truittian F-15 and the Smithsilian F-15.

"Fine, wile we are waiting for a responce, get as much as you can on who has attacked them, I don't think it could have been the Smithsilians, but if it was, well, just find out!" President Angelo said, picking back up his cigar.

As the men saluted each other and left, President Angelo sat back down, turned around, and look at the map of his own capital, Raptior, centralized next to a major Air Force Base,

"Damn, if we do help them, we could be asking for our first all out war, agenst someone we don't even know..."

" Sir the test was very succesful," the intercom rang throught the office.
The president put his finger on the button,

" Just how succesful?" his voice hinted excitment.

" Well it succesfully deystroyed Lohck harbour, and we have reports of a widespread raidiation poisining."

" What is the media telling the civilians?" His voice cut into anxiousness.

" Crimsdale news network ran a story about the explosions, and a preported cop gave out info on the likliness of this being a nuclear bomb."

" So they know?"

" We can't confirm that."

" Good job luetenant," and with that the President slouched in his chair.

Just as the president reached to grab his half eaten apple the phone rang. With a grunt he picked it up.

" Mr. President, thier is someone on line 3, he wants to stay anonymous," The secretary was calm even though the rest of the country was in panic.

" Alright, thank you Maryanne," the president flick the blinking light.

" Who is this? What do you want?"

" It's not important who I am, But rather where I'm from, and that my friend is Jarridia. I want to merely warn you of things to come," the voice was muffled as though hiding under a shirt.

" If this is a joke I will find you and have you tried, prank calls are illegal in Crimsdale."

" This is no joke President Tronn. You must know of the recent attacks in Jarridia? Well I know who orchastrated them."

" Stop jokeing about such a horrible thing," The President was angry.

" This is no joke, the President ordered the attack."

" Which President?"

" Jarridia's "

" Who are you?"

" Call me an old friend," with that the stranger hung up.

The president thought to himself as he hung up the phone and grabbed his apple. Why would the president of Jarridia do such a thing.....

People of Magdha-
In a violation of the laws of war a nation has attacked the freindly state of Jarridia. This act of violence was aimed mostly at civillians and thus the Magdhan Military will be sending 3 armored divisions and 10 infantry divisions to support our ally Jarridia.

We act in the name of peace but a destruction of the just shall bring response.

Presidential Speech after “attack”

“My fellow Jarridians, to day is indeed a trying day. Our grand nation has been attacked, even though we have drawn back into our safe lands. At this time, the decisions has been that Smithsilian has wrongly attacked us, even though we had peace. This unprovoked attack will not lie easily on our shoulders, we will fight back.”

“I pronounce that the city of Kiakor is a disaster area. The ports, industry and commercial districts have all been destroyed. Hundres of thousands have died in these treacherous attacks on Jarridian sovereign soil. This is my ultimatum to Smithsilian, stand down now and reparate us, or incur the full power of our military.”

“During terrible times like this, people make mistakes, and they sell their nation…their homeland short and fraternize with the enemies. It is my sad news to inform you that Jarridian Intelligence shows that former President Jarrod Branam is responsible for causing these attacks. There is a warrant for his arrest, but however he is no longer within Jarridian borders. In the looming action to take place against him, he left to Utcheer. The coward has run because he knows that he can not bring more harm to Jarridia. The government of Utcheer must turn over Jarrod Branam, or we will take him by force.”

“As a final statement tonight, I have enacted my presidential Right of Power. I hereby disband Congress and the Supreme Court. Due to this unprecedented attack, I feel it necessary for me to gain the full support and trust of and over this nation to lead it the right direction and action. Thank you, and god bless.”

*at that statement congress and the supreme court were both closed. President Joel Sikes is now proclaimed Supreme Dictator of Jarridia*


Protests Outside Palace

In order to keep his power, Supreme Dictator Sikes send the military out to break up the protest. This peaceful demonstration was claimed as a threat to national security, and siding with Branam.



Presidential Office

The ‘secret’ telephone under the Dictators desk rings. Sikes picks up the receiver.

“Yes?” says Sikes.

“All is going according to plan sir. We have Jarridia, Utcheer, and Smithsilian both horrified. The leaders of Smithsilian are trying to figure how they attacked us, and Utcheer is locking down their borders.” Says the mysterious voice.

Sikes, taking a puff off of the cigar, says, “Excellent, I am the leader….all is good. The only one that could possibly thwart our power is Jarrod. The second we have him in custody, there will be nothing to stop us!”

Both men laugh evilly

“It is wonderful to see that this was so simple. Did Congress give you any trouble?” asked the voice.

“No! That was the best part. They were a little confused, but signed the Right of Power quickly……ooo someone wants to talk to me. I will return call to you later.”

“Good bye, and I look forward to your call.”

*hangs up*

“Yes come in!”

“Good evening Mr. President, I have some news” said Kurt Greenacre (Military Advisor)

“yes..what is it” Sikes snarled.

“well….our forces are readying to attack Smithsilian, but some are concerned about your power, and whether or not this attack is right.” Said Kurt.

“What?!?! Traitors! Have all those who question me shot, and you can join them as well. GUARDS!” yelled Sikes, who became insane with rage.

“NO! Don’t do this……this isn’t ri……”

Greenacre is shot in the head by the guards and taken our by his arms.

“No one will oppose me! JARRIDIA IS MINE! MUAHAHAHAHA!” :twisted:



OOC: No help is needed at this time. Just setting a story.

Secretary Wittenburg sat with his feet on the table in the President's Office, slowly flipping through papers.
"...well, Mr. President, to make a long story short, our sources say the Smithsilian had nothing to do with this attack, the world is baffled, and Democracy has ceased to exist in Jarridia."
"Can't say I didn't see this coming a mile away." replied President Boudinot. The President rubbed his face. "Well, its obvious that Pres-er-'Dictator' Sikes is out of control." Boudinot sighed. "I have an idea."
And thus, another proclamation was made.

Judging by the totally insane actions of the administration of President Sikes, this government will now pursue a policy of creating an Anti-Agression Coalition against President's Sikes Dictatorship. However, if Jarridia refrains from attacking any nations, he can have his dictatorship. Any nations wishing to join the Anti-Agression Coalition are asked to send delegations to the capital of Kaufmanstad, Stuville.

ViZion's Government is in its own world of pain at this time, trying to handle an out-of-control rebellion. The Government of ViZion wishes to express its sorrow for the people of Jarridia.

Kaufmanstad, unfortunately we cannot send a delegate to join your Anti-Agression Coalition against Jarridia due to our rebellion, we do endorse it, and encourage all nations to support or join it.

We fear Sikes has more in plan then just 'retalion'.

Emperor Michael of the Empire of Kamia, as well as the newly formed Colony of the Empire of Kamia had been relaxing lately. After the little skirmish with Gurning, Kamia had done little in terms of foreign affairs, in the political nature. It's only goal was the strengthening of its economy. Trade had increased rapidly, and Kamia was soon an economic superpower.

Suddenly, one of the top aids knocked at the door and came in. Michael turned around and smiled, showing his warm nature.

"What can I do for you?" the emperor asked.

"Sir, we have just received some rather disturbing reports." the aid responded.

Michael kept his composure. He did not look worried in the least bit.

"One of our few allies, Jarridia, has come under attack." the aid began, Michael's attention immediately drawn. "Several unmarked aircraft bombed the country, destroying one of their ports. In the confusion and aftermath, the new president Joel Sikes, who took the place of Jarrod Branam after he resigned, activated a sort of emergency power that gives him absolute control of the nation. Jarridia, which was once a democratic nation, now seems to be a single dictatorship."

"What can we expect of Sikes?" the emperor questioned.

"Well, we quite frankly do not know." the aid began, "While he publicly displays a nature of caring a great deal for his nation, we believe that his taking complete control of the nation suggests some other motives."

"Just what I was thinking." the emperor began, "Why would Sikes take total control of the nation, with it's history of democracy? Why would he even be in the politics of a democratic nation if he would change it into a single dictatorship?"

Michael's eyes closed for a minute, as if to show he was in deep thought.

"Sir, we need an answer. What shall we do, say?" the aid asked.

"I will speak with him myself." the emperor said.

Michael walked over towards the silmagrapher, a type of communication device commonly used in Kamia, and the Colony. This particular one had been adjusted so that it could send messages to nations without silmagraphers.

Michael walked in front of the large silver colored device and stood in the appropriate spot on the floor. Ripples danced across the machine, before a soft glow came from it.

"Greetings Joel Sikes, Supreme Dictator of Jarridia. I do not know if you know who I am, so allow me to introduce myself. I am Emperor Michael of the Empire of Kamia, as well as the Colony of the Empire of Kamia. In the past, Kamia had diplomatic ties with Jarridia, and its former leader, Jarrod Branam.'

"First off, I would like to offer my most sincere condolences for the loss you have suffered. I am sure that it must be a heavy burden for you to carry in such dark times. Whoever attacked did so in a cowardly manner, and I am sure will suffer the consequences.'

"Secondly, I would also like to offer any aid that you would possibly need. Economic, military, personal advice, anything, and I will be willing to send it. Please do not hesitate to ask. We hope that our help will be a source of light for you and your people in these dark times. Farewell.'

The silmagrapher stopped rippling, as Emperor Michael walked towards a large, holographic map. He looked closely at Jarridia. Michael moved his hands to a control panel and placed his hands on two orb like objects. The orbs were the controls of the map.

Using the orbs, Michael focused in on Jarridia. Because it was a hologram, the map was really a projection of how the nation was at the current moment. Kaikor was barely there.

Michael turned away from the map and gave a deep sigh.

"I don't like the looks of this at all..." he said to himself.

Michael walked towards a massive window in the room. A terrible, dark storm was approaching...

In regard to the Anti-Aggression Coalition, in the event of Jarridian aggression, what role do you suppose the AAC will serve? A forum in which Jarridian actions are denounced? The basis of a military alliance?

"Your excellency, someone has attacked Jarridia!" said George as he pushed into the office.

"What?! Tell me who it is damn you!" said Donald quickly.

"No one is sure at the moment, but that insane leader they have up there has proclaimed himself dictator and has said that we attacked them!"

"Ah...so it begins." sighed Donald, he turns to the window and looks out, "We are heading into a dark time. I fear that our lands may be engulfed in war and pain for years to come. Is there any way to avert this? I fear no....Jarridia is a power to be reckoned with, and with an insane leader at the throttle, we may have our hands full. Alert the other members of the WWA. I've heard that Jarrod is in Utcheer, I must go there at once, prepare the plane."

Though ViZion is currently in the middle of a rebellion, we have a large enough military that we are preparing to send the following out to Utcheer (If she has a coastline... otherwise to Jarridia's coastline) for the protection of Jarrod.

The Commonwealth harbors great concern with regards to the actions of President Sikes in dealing with the bombing of the city of Kiakor. While the Commonwealth recognizes any nation's right to self-defense the nation of Smithsilian, according to our intelligence, seems not the likely culprit. While we recognize the importance of defending a nation, there has been no proof other than the tyrant Sike's word, a word that this government is hard-pressed to acknowledge. We regret the decision of the Maharajah Chandragupta and beseech the Maghdan government to reconsider their support to a man, not even a people, but a man not even more than a petty tyrant. "We realize your nation have a soverign right, but that right becomes void when you cheat your people and your government out of their rights, when you falsify an attack upon your nation, which has no proof of your statements, and when in turn, it actually points at the fact an insider ordered your own forces to launch the attack, killing millions.

"You are giving living proof you have done this for your own pleasure. If you wish to disproove it, let a multitude of international surveyers, officials, and investigaters enter your nation, and give us proof that Jarrod is trying to harm your nation and that Smithsilian has, in all actuality, attacked your nation in an act of war.

"You must also sign off that once the war is officially over, and those who have committed a crime against Jarridia are in custody, that you will step down as Dictator, and become, by Constitutional guidelines, President of Jarridia.

"If you do not comply, you will be voiding your soverignty, and will be open to legal attacks upon your nation to free your people from you.

"We currently have some naval forces off your coast, and we will use them in an event of war.

With that, the screen fades back to the announcer.

"It looks ViZion is prepared, even in the middle of this damned civil war, to go into another war. Good God, Dictator Sikes, what have you done? Stand down."

The announcer continues for another five minutes before the broadcast is cut.

<IC> Evidently, the new president has overlooked the fact that President Branham permitted 15 B-1 and Python bombers with an escort of 35 F/.A 18 Hornets on a Xeraphian constructed airbase some months ago. Not to mention the 16th Carrier Fleet anchored offshore.

I highly suggest that Jarridian forces, or anybody else for that matter, not invade the diplomatic sanctity of the XF forces in the region. We have numerous fleets and airwings in the Mediterranean due to the ViZIon, Smithsilian, and Al-Anbar situations.

Although we are at present fairly secure, you and any other anti-Sike nation are welcome to establish a presence on our airbase. There is room for 700 more fighters and 50 more bombers, as well as MBT's and ground forces.

ViZion - No, I will not step down from my rule of Jarridia, I was given this right after Jarrod stepped down, and the terrible attacks occured in Kiakor.

Daylam - I don't care if that little ending note you put on your post was OOC or not. We just recently reconciled our differences and looked forward to peace. Unfortunately, after reading that (even if it was OOC) I see no sense in continuing this peaceful treatment. Yes Daylam, we are back to hating eachother.

The Plans of Sikes

Night had fallen on the amazingly quiet city of Shelbin. The palace was dark and all was quiet, except for 3 shadows in the hallways. The moonlight shown brightly through the windows of the grand halls, as the 3 figures hurried towards the Presidential Office. The leader of the three was Kim Shaffer, Secretary of State. She was followed by her two good friends, Paul Hughen (Secretary of Security) and John Manist (Secretary of Intelligence).

The three people entered into the office, which was unguarded and no lights on thanks to Paul.

"This is where I was when I heard the conversation. I was unsure of the second voice, but I knew it was Sikes. They were discussing the attack on Kiakor. It seems as if the whole thing was planned by Sikes himself." said Kim as she caught her breathe.

"Are you sure Kim? These are very serious allegations. If you're wrong, Sikes could have you killed." said John with a worried look on his face.

"I'm positive. A few days before the attack I walked into his office and he pushed a bunch of papers into his desk, as to keep them secretive." said Kim as they walked through the door.

"Look quickly! I was able to secure the area, but I'm not sure how long that will last, especially if word gets to Sikes." said Paul

"Of course," Kim said as she opened a draw, she looked through folders and papers, "Look at this! Its an order for an attack, and maps of Kiakor. We have proof that he could have planned this whole thing just to get power."

"I always knew he was crooked, especially when he killed Kurt." said John with an angry look on his face.

"I thought Kurt died in a car wreck." Paul said with a confused look.

"No...but we have no time for that right now. We have some proof. Kim, grab all the files in those draws, we shall go into the Archives and look for any connections or possible phone calls, we can even see if he used the Emergency Phone under his desk to make hidden calls," said John as he started towards the door.

"We've got him now! We will bring justice back to our nation!" smiled Kim excitedly.

The three people walked out the door heading towards the Archive Room near the Intelligence Wing. Sikes lay sound asleep in his bed, unknowing the pain that would soon befall him.

The Plans of Sikes

Night had fallen on the amazingly quiet city of Shelbin. The palace was dark and all was quiet, except for 3 shadows in the hallways. The moonlight shown brightly through the windows of the grand halls, as the 3 figures hurried towards the Presidential Office. The leader of the three was Kim Shaffer, Secretary of State. She was followed by her two good friends, Paul Hughen (Secretary of Security) and John Manist (Secretary of Intelligence).

The three people entered into the office, which was unguarded and no lights on thanks to Paul.

"This is where I was when I heard the conversation. I was unsure of the second voice, but I knew it was Sikes. They were discussing the attack on Kiakor. It seems as if the whole thing was planned by Sikes himself." said Kim as she caught her breathe.

"Are you sure Kim? These are very serious allegations. If you're wrong, Sikes could have you killed." said John with a worried look on his face.

"I'm positive. A few days before the attack I walked into his office and he pushed a bunch of papers into his desk, as to keep them secretive." said Kim as they walked through the door.

"Look quickly! I was able to secure the area, but I'm not sure how long that will last, especially if word gets to Sikes." said Paul

"Of course," Kim said as she opened a draw, she looked through folders and papers, "Look at this! Its an order for an attack, and maps of Kiakor. We have proof that he could have planned this whole thing just to get power."

"I always knew he was crooked, especially when he killed Kurt." said John with an angry look on his face.

"I thought Kurt died in a car wreck." Paul said with a confused look.

"No...but we have no time for that right now. We have some proof. Kim, grab all the files in those draws, we shall go into the Archives and look for any connections or possible phone calls, we can even see if he used the Emergency Phone under his desk to make hidden calls," said John as he started towards the door.

"We've got him now! We will bring justice back to our nation!" smiled Kim excitedly.

The soldiers pointed their guns towards the family incase of escape.

"I'm sorry, but we can't allow that. Unless you have proof and date of your legitimate arrival in Jarridia, we can't let you go. Do you have documentation?" asked Bob.

Adm. Nelson Mulkwiss waited anxiously by the phone. As he sat in the command center of the carrier HES Solidarity and waited for a call from Central Command, the seconds ticked away perilously.

Come on, don't fight. Just provide a viable explanation of the events that have happened, Mulkwiss thought. It had been so soon since the ViZion operation. It seems that the GDMO military has been running from one corner of the world to another, toppling one evil regime after another. As he was lost in his own thoughts, an aide politely tapped him on the shoulder.

"Sir, the time limit has passed," the aide informed the Admiral. Giving a resigned sigh, the Admiral merely nodded and rubbed his face with his hands. Within a few seconds, the phone rang. Mulkwiss reached for it and picked up the receiver.

"Admiral Mulkwiss, speaking...Yes, sir...No, sir, we have received no message from Jarridia that gives any indication of allowing an investigation to occur...Yes, sir...Understood, sir."

Turning to the men in the command center who were anxiously awaiting news of the situation, Mulkwiss stood up and authoritatively announced, "The government of Jarridia continues to shroud itself in the mystery of its underhanded dealings. As you all well know, the time limit set for the ultimatum presented to Jarridia has since passed. In light of this, SecDef has ordered us to commence military operations against Jarridia. Codeword: Ignition."

At this final statement, the men and officers of the 3rd Fleet set to work. All forces were set to High Alert. Although they were still a good couple of days out from their destination, they still could attack.

25 guided missiles, targeting SAM and coastal defense positions, took off from various ships in the fleet. Trailing further behind the fleet, the SSBN Pegasus launched one ICBM aiming for an ammunition depot inland of Jarridia.
At the same time, V.Adm. Kennesey ordered two of his strike fighter squadrons to take to the air with orders to destroy certain vital mobile communications and logistical emplacements. Aiding in the strikes, the Electronics Warfare Attack squadron joined in the fray, providing extensive radar coverage and blacking out large portions of the enemy radar coverage.
Taking off from positions in the GDMO itself, 2 squadrons of B-52's are en route to destroy airstrips, major thoroughfares, railroads, and radar towers.

Josh slowly backs up, with their parents blocking the militaries view of them. He slowly pushes Eric back. "If they start shooting, we gotta run for it... you stay in front of me. If only one of us makes it, you gotta bro... alright? You gotta..." he said, trying to keep fear from showing, but Eric could see it in his eyes.

"Just let the children go..." the parents pleaded again. "They will do nothing to harm anyone. We will make them swear to secrecy what's going on here... just let them go..."

Suddenly, and without warning, 35 SpecOp Troopers of the elite Xeraphian Katanas take up positions surrounding the Jarridian security forces.

" This is Captain Jenks of the Xeraphian Federation. You will drop your weapons NOW. You are surrounded....you have no chance. I repeat, DROP YOUR WEAPONS."

The Jarridian thugs looked around nervously. There was no place to hide, no place to run................

"I am following orders from higher up. No foreigners without documentation. You AND your children will come with us until something can be arranged." says Bob, guns still poised to strike.
All of a sudden, a cell phone rang. (OOC: So typical, huh? lol) The mother looked at the men, and then at her bag. Then she realized it had a tracker... now if only she could get the message to the caller they were being taken in as hostages.
The two brothers slowly backed away. They saw a car, not even 10 feet away, parked. If they could only get behind there, without the military seeing them, they could get away. There were a lot of alleys on this road... surely they could get away. And when the mother leaned down to pick up the phone, they knew this would likely be their first and only chance. "Go..." Josh whispered, as the military officers were training their weapons and focus on her. Eric quickly and quietly snuck behind the car, only to discover his brother still with the parents. Josh motioned ever so slightly with a nod, for Eric to get out of the area, and find a way out of the country. With tears streaming down his eyes, he snuck into a dark alley. Just then, the father realized what was happening, and bounded onto Bob Kensy, the lead officer. With that, Josh sprinted away, behind the car, and into the same alley, to catch up with Eric. They both heard gun shots, and they they were now alone. Within seconds, Josh caught up to a frozen Eric. "Let's get outta here." he said, as they began rushing down the alley way, quietly. Then, the rain came.

As the brothers fled, and shots rang out, all hell broke loose.

TheJarridian security team opened fire at the fleeing boys and the father, cutting him in half.

The Katanas opened fire, a wicked cross-fire that cut the Jarridians to pieces, but a couple of the Jarridians manged to escape, running into an alley to the left of the roadway...........

The boys were running, when they came to a door. It was unlocked, and appeared to lead into a storage shed. As they entered, they could smell something... then, they realized what it was - a slotter house for pigs and cows. They quickly exited, and continued down, and entered into another alley. It lead to the back of the hotel. They were safe... for now. But they knew they had to find a taxi, or some form of transportation to the southern border. They had to get out of Jarridia.

The fall of Sikes

Hearing the news of the crossfire on Jarridian Streets, Sikes had this to say from his office:

"So Jarridia, it has begun. Our supposed allies are attempting to invade and take our rightful land. All reserves and military are now at DA 5. This is not an act of war, but of defense of the Jarridian populous and resources in the interior. At this time however, and for the past 5 hours, Jarridia has begun the invasion of Utcheer. One million men crossed the borders and have taken the nation completely by suprise and unarmed. Our airforce has pounded their cities, and our navy has bombarded their shores. This will cease once Utcheer surrenders. We will nev....."

The screen breaks up Police and Military Officials enter, alongside Kim and John. The police walk around to Sikes and handcuff him on national television.

"Joel Sikes, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law." said Patrick Higgins, Police Cheif of Shelbin

"W..w..what is the meaning of this!??" said a shocked Sikes.

"You are charged with mass murder, murder in the first degree, aiding and abedding terrorists, breaking presidential constitutional law, and abusing power." said the chief.

"At this time, Congress has been re-enacted.....Joel Sikes, your time in office ends now." said Jerry Bensf, General.

"I have done nothing wrong! Kim, tell these men!" screams Sikes.

"We have the proof right here, you're done! Jarridia will remain honorable, even after you alienated our allies," said Kim.

"This is unbelievable and an obvious lie, you will all pay for this!!!" screams Sikes angrily as he is walked out.

Sikes is taken to the Greater Shelbin Prison where he will await trial before a Grand Jury.

Kim Shaffer sits at the desk, looking at the camera.

"Jarridia, what you have seen here tonight is real. Sikes has spent the past few months telling us nothing but lies. He has sought to decieve us, and bring our nation under totalitarian rule. But, he made a mistake, and was found out. The office of president will be temporarily closed until the nation is able to recover from this dreadful period. To all our friends and allies, please forgive us. Jarridia is not responsible for its leader's ignorance. I send my condolenses to those who have lost their lives in this occurance, especially in Kiakor and Utcheer. The reign of Sikes is over. Goodnight."

Kim leaves the desk and the screen goes black.

ViZion honors the people of ViZion for their brave deeds, and to see the truth about Mr. Sikes. The alliance between ViZion and Jarridia will remain entact.

President Boudinot, Secretary of War De Soto, and Secretary of the Navy Ventnor were discussing strategy. They were pouring over maps when Boudinot's private secretary entered.
"Mr. President, the President of Canad a is on the line and would like to speak with you."
"Thank you Ms. Lawson, gentlemen, if you'll excuse me." The President picked up the phone and said, "Good afternoon, sir, what can I do for you?" Boudinot listened. "Yes, ViZion has lent its navy to Kaufmanstad, and forces from Verboten Lufftewaffe are stationed in Smithsilian. At this moment, the naval forces of Monte Ozarka are scheduled to rendezvous with the Kaufmanstad Navy.....Any forces you are willing to supply would be a tremendous help in ridding the world of this aggressive tyrant. Operations against Jarridia when Sikes invades another country..........Thank you.........We await your delegate's arrival in Stuville to participate in the Coalition. Thank You."

"President Boudinot, we'd like to make an inquiry on the war effort on the colilation against the dictator of Jarridia? Also The United States of Canada is interested in joining your colitation effort against the Dictatorship of Jarridia and bring its leader before a War Tribunal."

Adm. Mulkwiss was pacing the command center, pondering the tactical situation that awaited him once they were in position, when the phone rang suddenly.

"Mulkwiss...WHAT?...Yes, sir, immediately."

Pressing the intercom to the bridge, the Admiral announced to the fleet, "The situation in Jarridia has been neutralized. Abort all missiles immediately! ABORT!"

After this, the fire control officers reported, "All missiles successfully aborted."

However, the SSBN Pegasus urgently transmitted a message to Adm. Mulkwiss, "We cannot abort the ICBM launched. ETA to target 30 minutes."

"Shit," Mulkwiss responded.

Meanwhile, the 2 squadrons of B-52's, having been en route to targets in Jarridia, switched course in order to arrive at the Xeraphian airbase in the southwest of Jarridia. Furthermore, the two strike fighter squadrons and the electronic warfare attack squadron were aborted from their mission, with orders to return back to the Xeraphian airbase.

V.Adm. Kennesey was about to lay back and enjoy a few minutes without great excitement when the phone rang, once more.

"Yes, Kennesey here...God...Yes, sir."

Putting down the phone, he ordered his radio operator to order a flight of F/A-18's to attempt to track the ICBM and destroy it in the air. This was a long shot, but it would hopefully work. If not, they had hell to pay...

Realizing that the Jarridian government did not know about this and would not take a flight of Navy fighter jets flying over their airspace too well, Kennesey sent off a message:

Attn: Jarridian gov't

There will be a flight of F/A-18's flying over your airspace. They are not there to attack your country, but are instead attempting to intercept an ICBM. Do not attack them.

Admiral Tuesday read the message from Jarridia carefully. Then Laughed.
"Well, that was anti-Climactic!" he thent turned to the officers on the bridge of the KNS Stuville, "Boys, sorry, no invasion today."
The crew laughed, others jokingly said, "Awwww, are you sure?"

The United States of Canada is more than welcome to join the Coalition. However, the goals and operations of the Anti-Aggression Coalition now need to be re-defined. Members are asked to come to Kaufmanstad to discuss the Coalition's future.

OOC: I can't believe you are still going to keep a coalition against me. I have always held the prospects of peace to the upmost. Ask Xeraph, ask ViZion.....I demand that you end your coalition as of now.

OOC: The coalition isn't about Jarridia anymore. I figure, we've spent so much time forming it, perhpas we can direct it against someone else. The Coalition, when the delegates meet, is either going to be dissolved, or its energies will be directed elsewhere. Jarridia is welcome to join.

I do not care of how government is conducted as long as the leader pleases his people and acts with justice. We will support monarchy if that is what the Jarridians want.

Fate of Jarridia

Jarridia will return to being a democracy, and be the same nation that all my allies have grown to befriend. As for our leader, we are still getting Congress and the Supreme Court reset, then we will decide that. Former President Branam may be the one and only candidate since Congress will choose.

ViZion is prepared to launch any retaliation attacks upon any nation who tried to attack Jarridia, due to their government being practicly stopped at this time.

Return of the greatest Jarridian president

Former President Jarrod Branam has agreed to finish out the term he left, and to fix the wrongs left by Sikes. Congress is currently passing a bill that will allow his return and the inauguration will take place sometime after that. In order for Branam to be reinstated, Congress must have a majority vote, and the Judiciary must agree. It seems sure that the president that lead us through our greatest prosperity shall return again.


Trial #7829: Jarridia v. Sikes

In the Supreme Court Room stood a tired, yet angry looking man. He was unable to get a lawyer because no one was willing to represent him, but in order to follow due process, the court appointed counsel to Sikes. His lawyer's name was Ralph Usty. Ralph was a short, fat man with glasses that sort of waddled when he walked.

The Supreme Justice, Walter Randan spoke, "Joel Sikes, do you understand the full front of the allegations against you?"

Sikes ssaid quietly, "Yes your honor, and they are all lies."

The room was silent, there was an occasional chuckle at what Sikes had said, but for the most part, it was quiet.

"There is significant evidence proving other wise," said Walter, "You are looking at two murder cases along with everything else!"

"Yes, I understand that." Sikes said looking at the ground, he was obviously humiliated to be here.

"Your trial date is set for a month from today. You will remain in jail until that time." said Walter as he looked over papers.

The police walked Sikes out the door slowly, all was silent. A sudden calm had come over the people of Jarridia. They had be decieved by their leader, no one knew what to say, no one knew what to do. All they knew was that nothing would ever be the same.
