Attack on IDF Naval Vessels at Sea

The three Farragut-class armed blockade runners creeped through the relatively placid waters of the ocean. They were, once again, dressed up in full IDF format with the flag waving and correct serial numbers and a ship number emblazoned across the hull in case they encountered the IDF or someone else. The nearly 400 men tasked to operate the three vessels were nervous yet determined. The IDF had pretty much destroyed Damascus, killing hundreds of thousands of muslims. It was a modern form of genocide, and the IDF had tried to cover it up by claiming it was a 'rebel' commander that issued the order. The IDF would pay, although not as severely as most of the Muslim Militants' leaders had hoped. Most of the 400 crewmembers of the three vessels had served in numerous navies around the world and were trained fairly well. A few, however, knew nothing, and were therefore assigned jobs that required little to no skill to complete. Experienced missile technicians and weapons officers were chosen to man the VLS tubes and 5 inch guns.

Through the intelligence and rumor grapevine, they learned of the IDF naval deployment to combat the pirates in the area and they arrived to wreak havoc on the IDF naval forces. One vessel would break off in a few moments to head after the lagging IDF resupply squadron while the other two would high-tail it up to the IDF's 1st CVBG. They probably wouldn't get spotted until they were right on top of the IDF forces due to the low-RCS nature of the three Farragut's they occupied. One Farragut-class was outfitted with nearly 110 tons of explosives in its forward hull in the event an attack was unsuccessful. If she had to, the crew would throttle full and bring her up to her top speed of 33 knots. The crew would then fire off the remaining complement of missiles from her VLS tubes and fire the twin 5 inch cannons at the IDF ships before ramming its hull into the slow-moving IDF carrier. The explosion alone would kill some hundred sailors and probably sink the ship, killing several more hundred. That was being liberal about it.
-------

As the single Farragut-class streamed off in a perpendicular direction then the two other ships, the other two throttled ahead, aiming their bows at where their radar's pinpointed the IDF naval fleet at. About an hour later, the lone Farragut-class ship was some 30 nautical miles out, at that moment her VLS tubes went hot. Of her 94 VLS tubes, twenty went hot. Over the next ten minutes, twenty TASM anti-ship missiles were fired, they were aimed and heading towards the IDF 1st CVBG. Six were trained on the IDF's carrier, three on each Ticonderoga-class CG, two on each Arleigh Burke class DDG, two on the single Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate and two on each of the supply ships in the group. Due to the Farragut's position and heading, the 1st CVBG, after receiving the fire, would most likely turn to the threat, leaving their flanks wide open to the two other Farraguts. The single Farragut armed another 10 VLS tubes... Eight TASMs were fired on the single Iowa-class BB in the IDF's 1st SAG, the other two were fired at one of the two Ticonderoga CGs. The Farragut proceeded another ten nautical miles and fired ten more TASMs. All ten were fired at the IDF's 2nd SAG's two Iowa-class BBs. It proceeded ten more nautical miles and fired the remaining 58 TASMs. Eighteen were heading towards the Enterprise CVN in the 1st CVBG. Ten were heading to the two Ticonderogas in the 1st CVBG. Ten were aimed at the Iowa-class BB in the 1st SAG. Five flew towards each Iowa-class BB in the 2nd SAG. The last ten were distributed randomly between the Arleigh Burke DDG, Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate, and the Ticonderoga CG in the 1st SAG. The Farragut then keeled starboard and turned to face the IDF 1st Resupply fleet. Her twin 5 inch guns opened fire and peppered the relatively weak rounds on the fleet... Most of the rounds were aimed at the two Farragut classes in the fleet, which were visible at this range.
---------

The last two Farraguts, at a range of about 30 nautical miles from the 1st CVBG, fired off about half of their complement of TASMs, each ship could carry 94 and they did. They were all distributed evenly among the ships of the 1st CVBG. That's 94 missiles distributed evenly among twelve surface ships. After they launched the initial complement, they split apart until they had about eight miles between them, then they proceeded directly for the 1st CVBG with the first Farragut heading at a slight angle.

OOC- This time I'm giving you a chance to react, since you would be able to in this scenario. In fact, you'd have plenty of time to react.

The Burnsian Desert formally condemns this senseless attack.

OOC: Wow! Good job on this one!

OOC: I know you are Greece and Cyprus, I also said you are ignored until you can prove you aren't.

Do that by posting a request for an IP check in the Mod forum. You tell them you want an IP check for those two nations so please do it. If you aren't G&C, I will apologize to you and RP with you.

Thanks

OOC: How did you get the ships you destroyed the 3 Farraguts you got and have none of the ships

OOC- Alright fine, I'll do an IP check.

EDIT: We had FIVE (5) Armed Blockade Runner versions of the Farragut and ten of the others. The unarmed versions were the ones that raided your port. And that was only three.

EDIT 2: Besides, you never roleplayed an retribution attack on our forces in the port, so we still technically occupy that port.

So there you have it... I'll request an IP check...

1 actually you missed my heightened alert where forces retook the port and 2, I never delivered the armed blockade runnerships in the 1st place since they take 2.5 NS years to build and you attacked with only .5 NS years done so they were never delivered, but the unarmed were delivered since I had a surplus. you realize I have other clients who were ahead of you on my list for the armed blockaed runners. I can't just give them out as soon as a I say confirmed, that would be a godmod, supply is always limited

The Federation of IDF
Received: 5 days ago fine on the explosives and guns.

I realized I went cheap on the ships. I will give 5 of the armed blockade runners in addition to the 10 already allocated. I hope you use them wisely. (I took militant nations into effect when designing these ships since they could really use them).

The ships will arrive in secret in 2 NS weekds (1 RL hour) The weapons will be aboard the ships

-------------
OOC- You explicitly said... "The SHIPS will arrive in secret in 2 NS weekds..." You DID NOT say the armed blockade runners will take 2.5 NS years. Therefore, you have no basis for these accusations and this attack was legal.

EDIT- But, I guess I did make a mistake on the port take-over, yes, you did destroy all three Farragut UNARMED blockade runners.
