"Krakens, sound off!" ordered Saroona dinAthos, a bald Delta class human, able to interface with computer systems directly. A rare sight in the mostly 20th century tech nation.
Over the next twenty seconds, the eight pilots called out their status. All were ready. "Delphinius, we're go. Start flooding." At her command, the Amphibious Assault Craft sunk visably when viewed from the shore, filling with sea water. Inside, the craft bobbed up and down. After a few minutes, the doors opened.
"Kraken Leader... you are cleared to exit the craft at 1/4 speed."
"Aye, Delphinius. Krakens... hit it!"
The eight craft burst from the craft under full power, suprising the crew considerably, in seconds the small craft already closed on top speed. Nearly 85 knots.
The beaches of South America were aproaching fast and barely 2000 feet out the ships split and doubled back, throwing up mist in thier wakes. They passed the Delphinius and circled it once.
The people watched from the view of a Seahawk hovering high above. "I've never seen military craft move like this... these are one person attack vessels, armored lightly and armed only with two 30 calliber waterproof machine guns. ANd... wait. The ships are sinking! They all are! the water is clear, so we can see them but they are completely submerged and have slowed consderably, but are still moving quickly. These Skimmer class coastal attack ships are slated for use by marine legions, if it is accepted."

After showing off, the craft return to the ship and coast inside. "Nice show, Krakens. Now... Miss dinAthos... would you mind reporting to the Bridge? I think we need to review your ability to remember procedure for exiting this ship."
"Aye sir. On my way."

4 inch titanium armor around cockpit
4 inch steel armor around powerplant
1 water turbine engine
