IC:
"This is a very sad day. Today, the rebels have taken the life of Chiefy, the beloved President of ViZion, in a sneak attack upon a ship he was on.

"He was nearly killed when captured once before, but escaped when allied forces and his own soldiers killed most of the rebels where he was being held captive.

"Chiefy was on a ship with hundred of ViZionarian crewmen, as they feasted and partied.

"We wish for a moment of silence, and request flags be at half staff. We are in morning."

Sweet Serenity! Glorious Victory! The rebels have indeed had a grand accomplishment today, although it took many of our brothers lives. We must unite ViZion now, are forces stand ready to repel our current invaders. John McClennan shall be named temporary leader of ViZion!

He is not President of ViZion. Chiefy has already named someone else president if he was to fall to your devilish militia.

Is it not yours... It always has, and always will be the government of whom the people have selected. Do you wish to go against the very foundation of this great nation? The very people who built ViZion? The very constitution that has kept the peoples rights sacred? By doing what you wish, you take all that AWAY from the people!

Yes, it provided until it found that it could make a profit off the people! We want to reinstitute the freedoms that make humanity a delight! Under the stubborn rule that once was, we could not. Now Chiefy is gone, and so should the rest if they do not vanquish their powers. FREEDOM FOR ALL VIZIONAIRIANS!

It is with the greatest regret that we learn of the death of the President of ViZion. He was a statesman, a fighter, an ally, and a friend. He will be sorely missed.

The dog McClennan could never fill President Chiefy's shoes.

McClennan, you had better hope that I don't get to you first...it won't be pretty.

The Rykian people express their deepest condolances to the ViZion people for their great loss today. The people of Rykia abhor the rebel actions and call upon the world to not only condemn such acts but work together to end the insurrection in ViZion and bring a certain measure of stability to the troubled nation and the troubled people.

Sincerely

President Jonathan Lighter

You wish to turn ViZion into a state of anarchy, don't you? You are not for peace, nor are you truly for THE PEOPLE as you claim. You are trying to make your self more powerful. A state of anarchy, which is what you are aiming for, will eventually lead to fear, and from that, people will want a leader. That's when they will come to you, their "leader". And from then on, you will gain all the power you want.

THAT is your true intentions. THAT will NEVER happen in ViZion.

Although I was not able to meet Chiefy in person, due to the turmoil in ViZion and the abrupt change of power here, I am sure that he was a great man. My predecessor, Jarrod Branam and he, were excellent friends. Jarridia has not stance at the moment, but will support ViZion if the rebels make any more terrible acts like this one. You have our sympathies great nation of ViZion. Chiefy shall be missed.

-President Sikes of Jarridia

Anarchy is not our aim. Nor do we want supreme power. We want to retool the nation and make it much more fair to the ViZionairians. You are daft to believe that we want all the power. We are fighting to save ViZion from the likes of you! And you shall fall! ViZion will return to the way it once was, a fair and just nation, full of elections for the head officials and a fair judicial system under an excellent and wonderful constitution.

Press Release
His Holy Majesty's Government strongly condemns the killing of President Chiefy. Assassination of a political figure is a reprehensible act, bordering on terrorism.

Despite this, we will not withdraw our force in the area; our troops will remain to protect the 500 Macisikani Red Cross volunteers working to alleviate the dreadful humanitarian situation.

The Empire will observe one minutes' silence at midday, local time, today.

We thank Jarridia for their honor to Chiefy.

And we thank all nations who grieve with us tonight over this great loss.

Chiefy, a great man, a proud and loyal man, and an honorable one at that, will be missed greatly.

The Archduke Philip IV would like to express his deepest condolences to the people and government of ViZion for the loss of President Chiefy. Out of war, such terrible things are bound to happen. We wish the best of luck to President Chiefy's successor.

I would like to note that this development will not affect the GDMO's current state of involvement in ViZion. We ask that all nations around the world stand firm and redouble their efforts to take ViZion back from the rebels as a standing tribute to the lasting memory of President Chiefy.

May his soul and the souls of all who have died rest in peace,
--ANDRÉ CRATEINNE, Viscount of Freinte, Official Spokesman for the Archduke Philip IV
