The G-1 Trade Confederation is a group of capitalist nations.
Functions of G-1
First, a disclaimer. G-1 is not an IGO, has no military of its own, and has no power to control domestic policy of its member states. However, those who join agree to cooperate for mutual benefit and the growth of capitalism.
1. Free Trade. All members of G-1 remove any barriers to trade that are not necessary to national security. Industries allowed some protection are arms, agriculture, rubber, and oil. New industries may be added with a 2/3 vote of the member states.
2. War on terror. All members must provide active defense for all members against terrorism and piracy, as these activities hinder the free flow of goods and services and are a detriment to capitalism.
Any nation seen not following can be removed by a simple majority vote of the member states. New members may join at the discretion of a simple majority of the member states. All members must be capitalist states (including Right-Wing Utopia, Corporate Bordello, etc). The first 3 member states will be selected by the Presidents of the two founding nations, the Republic of Pavia and The Armed Republic of the Northern South.
