Re: SAFI Region
A new region has been founded in the previously unexplored hinterland of Somewhereland. This new region known as 'States Against Forced Ideology' can be described as follows:
World Factbook Entry: The SAFI region is a small group of peaceful nation-states who believe in the rights of individuals and nations to determine their own morality. One of this regions central goals is to allow nations to grow and flourish with less of a centralized regional control. In international affairs NS-UN members should espouse the belief in individual and national rights, as well as legislative responsibility. The SAFI region welcomes new member nations who share the goals of it's member nations.
Any nation wishing to migrate to this wonderful new region is welcome to do so. The land is fertile and a fine aboriginial population abounds, they are willing to assist any new nations in the area, but it a strongly suggested that they be treated with respect and curtousy. Forced removal, conversion, or outright massacre of aborignial populations is strongly frowned upon by the SAFI.
The SAFI is also open to the exchange of embassies, emissaries, and consuls of foriegn powers, we respect all international treaties regarding such matters, with only one notable exception. (Unfortunately diplomatic immunity does not protect the perpetrator in cases of violent crimes within The Confederacy of Alphared.)
