Let's straighten out the facts here.
First, the 'cause' which the anti-Daylami alliance claims for its massive genocide of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of innocents. They claim I 'threatened' them with nukes. First of all, the first nation threatened, Jarridia, was done OOC. I forgot to mark it OOC when I repeated that to Matich, and so he assumes it was IC (because he wants me dead), when anyone can look at the thread and see what happened.
Next of all, there is my imperialism. I wont deny this in the cases of Egypt and Iran (which in both wars my reasons were pretty farfetched), but on both those occasions no nuclear weapon was threatened with or even talked of. The last war, that in Central Asia, was perfectly justified. The rulers of Central Asia were worse tyrants than Saddam Hussein ever was, boiling their opponents alive. For some reason Matich chooses this opportunity to try to wipe out my nation.
Secondly, lets look at the way the beautiful RP'er that is Matich went about this. He broke almost every rule of RP, namely
1. Posting for his allies, which he included in launching the nuclear warheads.
2. Not waiting for a response.
3. Giving an extremely horrible IC justification, in horrible grammer, and violating the unspoken rule of only using nukes in drastic, DRASTIC circumstances.
4. Claiming that the entire nation of Daylam was a smoking crater without waiting for a response.
5. Killing hundreds of millions for the 'crimes' (which they were not) of a few.
Thirdly, lets look at my response. First I threatened the ignore cannon, which I believe I was justified in doing, but I did not finalize this, only threatening it if Matich continued his horrible RP. Finally, having exasperated every method of OOC diplomacy, I simply stated that I would completely wipe out the nation of Jarridia with me should Matich follow through with his assault.

Slowly the object grew larger, longer, more....sinister. Kol's family stood in silence as the object moved toward their tiny suburb. Only Kol's father knew what the object was, and he would not, COULD not dare to speak. He sat in stunned silence as the ICBM moved in. Kol screamed.
And then, the flesh of every woman, man, child, and senior was melted off, their lives and the lives of millions who lived around them, and the lives of thousands that would live after them, were all cut horribly short by the vengeance of Matich. Every promising life.

I only launched nukes that belonged to me. They might be based in other countries but they are MINE. Oh, what a great reason, you were tired of RP'ing. Now try going back and actually refuting the points, instead of making half-assed attempts at one of them. Until then, it is up to other countries to decide if I should be ignored.

Even nuclear war can be RPed, with first and second strikes, early warning, counter force vs. counter-value strikes, etc.


Maybe nuking Dylam armies in the field or something, but I think that wiping out his whole country is excessive.

Maghda, TBD, both Xeraph and Jarridia, the two other participants, agree. Matich is the only one that disagrees.

Kilean, yes, and if it had been done right I would have had no reason for ignoring. However, "2000 NUKS KIL UR CONTRY" was just not good enough for me to accept. Heh, I probably do have a smackdown coming for me. I would love to RP a Kilean discovery of aid to Dra-pol and subsequent war/negotiations.

but we aren't really pushing the aid issue, beacuse the African Commonwealth, an ally of ours, is also something of a Dra-Pol ally, and we really don't want to further complicate the already byzantine ties between the African Commonwealth and Kilean.

but then again, we just may have to tell you to knock it off at some point. We do have some intelligence agents in central asia.

OOC: I am going to ignore the nuclear strike on Daylam, unless most of NS disagrees with me.....because

1) It was excessive
2) There was no Nuclear Counterstrike by Daylam
3) (Using Scale Factors of NS to RL World) It would cause a nuclear winter that would be about the size of Asia....(It would destroy the RL world)
4) It was a "We just launched 2,000 nuclear weapons from our country and our allies countries......It should hit your country about.......right now.
5) I ignore just about every nuclear strike unless it is very, very, very well RPed....

Daylam's petty refusal to accept things that don't go his way has caused me to visit a complete ignore upon him.



Watertest, Matich's nuclear strike, though it was a little "We just launched 2,000 nuclear weapons from our country and our allies countries......It should hit your country about.......right now."-ish, as you put it, it was no worse than Daylam's "oh, we now own Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the rest of western Asia - yay us! :)" instant victory.

His petty hole-picking in the RP of the others in an attempt to weasel out of the destruction of his nation - demanding perfect RP'ing from them or he wouldn't accept it, even with the slightest error, when he simply posted "oh, I now own <insert country name>, deal with it" - was hypocritical in the extreme. While the nuclear onslaught was excessive, and probably mostly uncalled for, it was RP'ed no more badly than his 'crusade' across central Asia.

Why should Matich and the others waste their time creating perfectly-crafted RP's when it's obvious their opponent would not respond in kind? It's just throwing good RP after bad.

Plus he did start with the nuclear threats (Daylam, don't bother saying it was OOC, as I proved it wasn't in the other post) and the large missile-firings - he can't do that and then stick his head in the sand and say it's not happening when people do the same thing in return.

1. Please look at the first post on this page. I made the nuclear threat OOC to Jarridia, and then repeated it in my next post, forgetting to make it OOC again. You proved a load of shit.

2. Take the US's size and power. Now put it up against a tiny population of nomadic herders. Now double again the US's power. How long would it take them to take over Central Asia?
I did not say I "instantly" own this this and this, I RP'ed the battles for Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. This countries simply dont have a chance in hell to even slow down the advance of me.

3. Ignore me if you wish. I dont care.

I have agreed with that since the beginning. Matich is simply stubborn. :roll:

We need to stop blaming everything on someone else. Everyone has flaws, if we just keep pointing them out, then how will we be able to see their strengths? This argument of who killed who with nukes is not getting anyone anywhere because your maturity level is dropping by each reply you send. One side just wants to ignore the other while the other just keeps repeating, "I'm not dead". Part of the fault is mine, as I took part in the forum stating that Daylam was destroyed with nukes. I regret this action as I was just encouraging others to keep playing this "game" of who can launch the most amount of nukes at Daylam. I should have realized this sooner as Jarridia did. He realized this and in a brilliant speech renounced his actions and stepped down from the presidency. Why can't everyone that took part in this incident just realize what they did, acknowledge it, and just move on. This petty argument has been blown way out of proportion, so I ask again, "Why don't we put all this behind us and start repairing our broken relations?"

j/k. As you can see in my replies to both Jarridia and Xeraph, I applauded their actions and sent my national leader, un-armed, to Xeraph on a tour of the nation. Matich, despite me not even mentioning the incident in a thread, comes in any thread with my name in it and screams how I am ignored. Xeraph, Jarridia, and Daylam have all put this behind and begun repairing relations.
