As our national construction abilities are not up to these tasks we are looking to hire other nations to do it for us. All the construction will take place in one of our desserts.

We need a fifteen mile long underground tunnel. The tunnel must be connected to itself in a perfect circle and the tunnel walls must be perfectly round and made of a copper and titanium alloy that we will provide. It must be at least 300' underground, deeper would be better. There must be 5,000 square foot control room set just off it.

We also require a 2 mile long silo be dug. It must be four hundred feet wide and also made of a copper and titanium alloy that we will provide.

Finaly we require a massive sphere be built. It too must be built with the copper titanium alloy, that again we shall provide. It must be 700 feet tall and 350 feet wide. Inside there should be nothing. It MUST be PERFECTLY spherical.

What is the payment for this project and what will it be used for?
Celdrone

Payment is 5,000,000,000 relkons for the first project. 5,000,000,000 relkons for the second. 3,000,000,000 for the third.
There purpose is research of hyper plane energies. If our research pays off we should be able to make some incredible technolodical advances. I edition we will provide security and housing for any construction crews for as long as needed.

We will undertake the first and second jobs. In our country, many of the mining companies are government-controlled, and while our nation is abundant in fossil fuels and gems, we feel that they would be of more profit to our country working on these jobs. We do, however, require that you share this research with us, if it is successful. If you agree to share the research with us, you may halve our pay.

We agree to your terms. We will transfer the money once construction is complete.

The USSCR could take on the third task by constructing the sphere in space, but would have no means to bring such a large object down to space. We decline.

There are three things we must confirm. First, by long, you mean the circumference must be 15 miles long? Secondly, Where should the silo be in realtion to the tunnel? Thirdly, where should the entrances be placed, and would you like for them to enter the facility by use of an elevator or by a tunnel?

We can do the sphere on land or in space. We accept your offer on the condition that you give us a muffin basket. J/K. We'll take the job. But what's the sphere for?

A perfect sphere cannot be created on Earth.
The Wickit Klownz

That is correct, my friend. I was just waiting for someone to point that out... good job. I would've taken that job too, but I haven't any space capabilities yet.

Curse my forgetfulness! We would still be willing to undertake this task. But would it not be possible to create a perfect sphere in a complete artificial environ? Artificial anti-grav etc.
The Wickit Klownz

You cannot manufacture a perfect sphere with gravity present...I forgotten why, but, it's not possible...
Underwater Asylum
02-05-2004, 07:53
Ah, but an anti-grav engine eliminating the gravity of the earth would make it possible. Correct?

My friend, the very idea of a perfect sphere is a lie... even in space, there IS gravity to some extent...
Underwater Asylum

It is possible but not at the moment. As soon as we manage to completely negate gravity without reversing it, we will be able to produce perfect spheres.
The Wickit Klownz

its IMPOSSIBLE because mass creates gravity!!!

According to conventional physics. Not in some other dimension, in which what we percieve as gravity may not exist.

well, good luck getting there, my friend....

Yes we do mean circumfrence. The silo must be placed in the center of the circle that the tunnel will make.

If you need to make it in space and bring it down, we will add to your final payment if this is nessesary.

The sphere will be ready in approximately 5 years. Please note that we will be blasting it into another dimension using a prototype engine and building it there using non-gravitational nanobots, hence the delay.
The Wickit Klownz

and what of the entrances?

For your extra trouble the final payment for your task will be increased to 5,000,000,000 and 7,000,000,000 if it can be done a year sooner.

ooc: Actually a perfect sphere can never be made -period- because at the atomic level there are gaps between the molecules. For a perfect sphere to be made, there would need to be no bumps, which is impossible to do, because you can only hold matter so close to itself. A perfect sphere would be a singularity, or possibly the very smallest subatomic particle.

It can be completed a year early, assuming we can get the materials in without trouble. The engine is still a prototype, so no guarantees.

OOC: Sileetris, you have a problem with him making a perfect sphere but not with him blasting it into another dimension?

TWC, we would like elevators for both and back up tunnels.
