Forced to pass through the canal one at a time due to Egypt's security precautions regarding nuclear powered warships, the Morning Glory carrier group had barely assembled in the Mediterranean before IDF began its punitive airstrikes against targets in Greece & Cyprus. After the military commander sent a private message to IDF mildly denouncing the widespread destruction, the Admiral flashed a dispatch to the Greece & Cyprus government.
It has been confirmed that the recent bombings in IDF were carried out by the order and instruction of the Greece and Cyprus government. Such acts of terror are not only heinously unacceptable, but also render you as an enemy to Eredron. It is now the responsibility of Greece and Cyprus to surrender those responsible for the planning and execution of the attacks into the hands of Eredron. In addition Eredron demands the dismantling and dissolvement of all programmes and policies of terrorism.
While waiting for a response, the carrier battle group began forming a perimeter around the southern half of Cyprus.

Following the refusal of the G & C government to respond, the first wave of F-22E Raptors lifted off the deck of the aircraft carrier Morning Glory and swept over Cyprus.

The squadron of Raptors flew into southern Cyprus to gather information regarding air and ground defense, as well as assess the damage inflicted by IDF airstrikes.
As a 10,000 man strong landing force was prepared, a second ultimatum was delivered to the Greek government, calling for immediate acceptance of Eredron's terms. Landing craft were readied as the admiral awaited a response.

The right of Eredron to travel through international waters, as well as respond and deal with threats to the Republic, is irrevocable. Our forces will remain on station until their mission is accomplished.
I wish to also assure you, Eredron's presence in the Mediterranean poses no threat to the New Kingdom nation.

While Watertest is currently neutral, we do not want this war escalating into the Mediterranean Sea threatening our borders. We will not allow either side to place unauthorized forces in Malta, Pantelleria, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Italy, and Switzerland. If any nation decides to impede on Watertest waters or land, we will not be responsible for damaged or destroyed vessels......Your nations have been warned
