Gurian

"Hurry!" the masked man shouted. "They're coming! Help me lift this container!" Another masked man ran over to him and helped him lift it. It was a metal case...clearly very heavy and very strong. Its contents were unknown to the men, they were simply told to guard it. Right now they had lost communication with the front gate, and assumed security had been breached. It was their duty to load up the railsystem with as many supplies as possible.
The two men belonged to an organization called Apollo Labs. Apollo Labs was founded by Rudolph Simmons, one of Gurian's brightest military scientists. Simmons had worked in the military with a great love of his country, but was upset by its "ethical inflexibilty". Simmons left the military and went underground to begin conducting grotesque experiments. The only contact with Simmons after this came from deliveries of his technology. Simmons left the military to begin his studies because he wanted to help his country, not hurt it.
The trainman stood in the back of the train, urging the two masked emn to hurry. It was the most important experiment, he said, and it was crucial for them to load it on the train. Suddenly, the door opened and a swarm of men rushed in. They immediately opened fire, killing the two men holding the case. The trainman was hit in the leg, but managed to limp to the controls. The men ran to the train, but were too late as the trainman shut the door. The train then took off at high speed. In its wake were several explosions from bombs planted beforehand. The tunnel collapsed, making following the train impossible. By the time they had pinpointed the destination of the train, all of the supplies would have been moved already. It was how it went.

Dictator Anderson sat in his office, anxiously waiting. A team had been sent to one of Simmons's labs. This was the first time they had discovered a lab, and Dictator Anderson was anxious to know what the team would find.
"There's a man here to see you," his secretary buzzed, "It's General Millons with the report."
"Send him in," Dictator Anderson replied.
General Millons walked into Dictator Anderson's office, clearly nervous. This was the first time he was in it and the first time he would personally meet the man.
"You have the report?" Dictator Anderson asked.
"Yes," General Millons replied.
"So, what did you find?"
"They had escaped with most of the research, but we did discover a heavily reinforced metal box."
"What's inside?"
"We can't tell without opening it."
"Well, we'll have to know what's inside. I want you to send it to the Delta Four high security facility. Get it in a contamination chamber, have hazmats in there, and open it. I want a live video feed."
"Alright, sir. I'll do that."
"That'll be all. Dismissed."

Dictator Anderson was sitting, watching the live video feed. After watching preparations being made, the time for the grand moment came. The camera moved closer to the box, and showed a pair of hazmats opening it. Guards stood by in hazmats with heavy assault rifles. The room had been locked down. Nothing in or out unless lockdown was shut down from the control room.
The box's protection mechanism had now been bypassed by the two hazmats. They now lifted the lid. Inside was a spherical containment chamber. It was eerily floating. Around it were several strange devices, circular in shape. Dictator Anderson watched in awe as the hazmats tried to remove the spherical containment chamber. It wouldn't budge. So the hazmats set to work trying to disable te strange devices. The devices seemed to be prototype electromagnets. Slowly, the hazmats were able to disable one after another. Finally, they were prepared to disable the last one. Dictator Anderson watched in anticipation. They disabled it.
All hell broke loose. The spherical containment chamber burst open. Screaming filled the room. The camera was dropped, and it showed a guard by the exit. He was banging on the door. Realizing he would not be let out, he picked up his weapon, aimed for his head, and pulled the trigger. Red alarm klaxons went off. Dictator Anderson knew this meant total base lockdown. What's going on? he thought. Then some greenish goo moved and engulfed the camera.
"ACIGOO!" Dictator Anderson shouted, panicked. He had never personally dealt with it before, but what he had heard indicated it was a force to be reckoned with. The acigoo overrunning the military base aside, Dictator Anderson was worried that Simmons had obtained Acigoo. Dictator Anderson know he would need the international community to help.
He sent messages to nations he had known dealt with Acigoo, pleading for their assistance. Dictator Anderson made sure to make it clear this was a confidential matter and the public should not have to know about it. Mass chaos was not something he needed.
Dictator Anderson sent military units to assist in a quarintine of the military base. He knew the acigoo would eventually overrun the entire base, and he knew the military units had no chance. It would at least slow down the acigoo, and time was something Dictator Anderson wished he had more of.
Dictator Anderson also sent orders to make finding Simmons an absolute top priority, and authorized any means necessary. Simmons had to be found and his experiments with acigoo HAD to be stopped! He may have been able to temporarily contain it, but Dictator Anderson knew he wouldn't be able to do it for long. If Simmons's acigoo escaped, it might mean the destruction of Gurian.
"May god have mercy on our souls," Dictator Anderson prayed.
