Catalina News Flash - Thousands of Modern Pirates invaded the island of Salinas today, one of the twelve islands that make up the Catalina archipelago. The assault lasted almost a day as the pirates strategically captured the port of Seal Beach, depleted the countryside, and sorrounded the walled city of San Andres. The attack left 34 dead and 107 injured as most islanders surrendered peacefully. The government has issued a state of emergency and has postponed current elections due to the attack on Salinas.
