OOC:

Looks good :) Just a few things:

1) More details on the radar set would be useful.

2) The Gun calibre of 16mm is somewhat awkward and I dont believe any other nation uses it, best changing it to 20mm or at least offering it as an option, though this is assuming you are allowing exports.

3) The engines seem a little...underpowered?

If there was a version with a 20mm cannon and more powerful engines, we might be interested...

Its an F-5, no one wants them, I would like a Wild Weasel variant of the F-4G Phantom II

That engine wouldn't fit into an F-5/F-20 frame.

Go with the RD-133/RD-933(engines used on the MiG 33) or the Eurojet EJ200(which gives 20 00lbs of thrust).

Just remember, the F-20A only had 17 000lbs and the F-5E/F only had 10 000lbs total.

F-5s are great, especially if you don't have much money. They're multirole, newer versions are all weather capable. The F-5 and F-20 are the cheapest supersonic aircraft to maintain.

I used them myself, back in the day.

PS: The F-5 wouldn't be suited to marine use mainly because any nation that can afford an aircraft carrier can afford a more effective fighter to use from their carriers.

An F-5/F-20 enlarged to the size of an F-16 would loose any advantage it has over the larger aircraft.
