The IADF (International Allied Defense Federation) is currently conducting a membership drive for new Alliance members.

The IADF currently consists of the following nation-states:

Easterwoodia
Five Civilized Nations
Kihameria
Kisnesia
Ozymandias IV

No voting for the Security Council or President has taken place as of yet. The incumbent members have agreed that is important for new members to have a say in the direction and governance of the Alliance.


The stated purpose of the group is foster international relations among signatories while providing for the common defense and general welfare. As a group we are generally opposed to the spread of global terrorism, rampant imperialism and WMD proliferation within the NS World.

As defense alliance, we exist to make the world a safer place as guided by our Alliance Charter.

The wording of the charter made me scratch my head a bit... but hey.

Zoogiedom has upon much review and initial reluctance decided to join the IADF, or seek to be a member. We see that the alliance has a purpose; which we were unaware of before. We see that the alliance is small, and is not in direct conflict with us. The nation state of Zoogiedom therefore wishes to join the IADF.

The Government of Falastur, after deliberation on the subject, has decided Falastur would like to enter this Alliance. It seems as time moves on, we have more and more need to ensure our protection, and it is time for Falastur's isolationist stance to fall, and be replaced with the stance of a part-player and strong ally.

The International Allied Defense Federation has, today, announced the admission of four nations to the defensive alliance. The new nations are:

The Free and Mostly Liberal Land of Zoogiedom
The Empire of Credonia
The Incorporated States of Lindim
The Empire of Doujin (pending board registration and post)

Understandable really.

It's definitely not worth the amount of scrutiny I seem to be going under, considering a legitimate action of mine brought this about. And the fact that I couldn't even present my own case in the begining when I was to be voted on (again?) shows a complete lack of tact on IADF's part. As such, Doujin officially rescinds it's application to the IADF.

Doujin seeks to promote peace and avoid war, and hoped to intervene in Feazanthia through a people who was opressed and headed by a government that held the world hostage. Holding off several other nations through diplomatic means, so that Doujin itself could go in and as peacefully and restrained as possible - replace the government of Feazanthia with a democratic republic. We believe we have shown that through the fact that we declared we would be paying for all civilian infrastructure damaged and provide civilians free medical care if they were injured in any skirmish that might happen. The nuking of Feazanthia by parties unknown is severely disheartening to Doujin, and was not what we wanted at all. Doujin is actively seeking out whomever fired those nuclear warheads, and has condemned the attack by Arbra - it's regional ally.

Doujin will continue to try and further diplomatic relations with individual members of the IADF, but considering the circumstances will not join the alliance itself.

The Government of Wazistan is requesting admission into the IADF. The Parliament has agreed to the admission, to better the countries protection from terrorism.

What happened to the old forums?
