Phoenixius Imperial Military Storefront
This is the storefront for Phoenixius. Recently the old storefront here in NS disappeared so here is a new one. This is mainly for those nations not belonging to The Unforgiven or the Commonwealth, as the storefront itself is on another site, SO WOULD ALL OTHER NATIONS POST THEIR ORDERS HERE.Click on the picture below to access the storefront.

PX-104 'Divix' fighter
http://www.freewebs.com/blackprojects/PX-E2c.jpg
Designed to combat the ever increasing numbers of fighter craft that have extrodinary dog-fighting capabilities. This project is being prepared for a possible upcoming competition with Neo-Soviet Russia. Based loosely on the PX-103, this aircraft has many more features and benifits not available before.
The first rough design was drawn up, and though it was a good design, it lacked the required dog-fighting standard required. That first draft has become the PX-101. The designers went back to work and designed a new, 3D thrust system. Combined with the AVTOL engine system developed and used by the PX-101, and a new computer-aided control system, it allowed amazing agility at even the slowest speeds.
The basic premise was simple - When the plane slowed down to stall speed, the VTOL engine started up, and when the speed increased, the VTOL enigne cut out. However, when this is combined with the 3D thrust engine, the computer worked out the angle the main exhaust was to be angled at, and this led to the plane being able to turn sharply when in normal flight. When the plane slowed down, the thrust system had to work harder to prevent the planes speed dropping to much when in a turn, and hence a sharp fall since the VTOL couldn't work. But when the plane was horizontal, and even inclined up to angles of 20 degrees, the plane could stay airborne, though obviously slipped sideways when inclined. This combined with the 3D thrust engine, allows the aircraft to literally turn on the same spot of air.
Another re-invention was the VTOL engine itself. Whereas previous incarnations only allowed the aircraft to hover the right-way-up, the new version detected the orientation of the plane, and allows the plane to hover upside-down.
With the addition of Hailstorm machineguns, the dog-flighting ability of this plane is unmistakably enormous. The addition of PDWE to the design allowed the plane to accelerate extremely quickly once past Mach 1. This also allows the aircraft to make near vertical climbs, and can reach high altitude very quickly.
The addition of the Wraith hologram system greatly increases the survival of the aircraft. When the plane is using the Archangel system, the enemy has no radar signature to work with, so visual identification is the only really viable way to detect enemy planes when dog-fighting. With the Wraith system active, you can create an image of your plane elsewhere, within a certain distance, while also creating an image of the sky around your plane. A powerful computer calculates the correct image to be projected to allow the images projected to be believed.
