18 dead after bomb rips thru lobby (News; Open RP)

Victorium, ViZion; Two suicide bombers entered the La Elemector hotel in Victorium, a small town in Northern ViZion, known for its tourism.

18 were killed, and another 22 were injured when, just after 6:00 pm VST, two suicide bombers entered the lobby, and detonated the bombs, as a tour bus just dropped off tourists, and others were checking in.

Shortly after, one of the sepratist groups known as Victor Imperium, who have been stirring trouble in ViZion as of late, took responsibility.

At least three of the dead were on a high school trip from a foreign nation, yet to be released.

OOC: You may claim any of the tourists who were injured or killed. 18 of the injured are tourists, 14 of the dead are tourists, including the 3 on the high school trip.

VICTORIUM - Two Rykian citizens are missing and presumed dead among 18 dead in the nation of ViZion today after terrorists detonated explosive devices in La Elemector, a resort hotel in this tourist town.

The two, Tobias and Lisa Hunt, arrived in the country only a day before on their first vacation since Tobias Hunt's retirement last year according to family members. Surviving son Richard Hunt was outraged and in a press conference delived outside the family home in Yula blamed the ViZion government for "not doing enough to prevent this horrible act of cowardice."

Prime Minister Retherton expressed in a brief news conference his condolances for the Hunt family and for all those killed. Retherton expressed his resolve for continuing to "rectify situations that breed terrorism through any means necessary." Retherton assured the public that conditions in ViZion were, on the whole, "acceptable" and urged anyone thinking of visiting the nation to not let the attacks deter them from going.

Shortly after the blast took place a separatist group known as Victor Imperium claimed responsibility for the attack.

Hearing of this, the ViZionarian Government offered its condolences to the Hunt family to and Rykia.

ViZion is working hard to identify the bodies, and send the, to the Hunt family.

In a statement made by a Security Board member, Mrs. Jones said that though there has been a spike of violence in ViZion, the nation is stable to visit.

Any tourists booked to fly on ViZionarian carriers, or staying at ViZionarian hotels will recieve a full refund if they wish to cancel due to the terrorist strike.
