In a surprise turnout, President Saddam Hussein appeared in the streets of Baghdad for several hours in his military uniform. Iraqi Satellite Television showed President Saddam Hussein driving around the streets of Baghdad before stopping on an unnamed major street. As he walked about, citizens crowded around him and he kissed a baby. Cars honked their horns and some stopped, their passengers getting out to join the endlessly enlarging crowd of people.

At today's White Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays, they will sing Happy Birthday to Saddam after "Take me out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch. Lets see that is 2 outs away.

We also once again ask for Saddam to come to Chicago for a diplomatic summet and the beginning of a friendship. We would like to invite Saddam to come to a White Sox game with Mayor Richard M. Daley. Please RSVP soon, I recommend you see the Cubs-Sox series coming up.

Congrats,

Mayor Daley.
