It seems kinda like a good idea. I figure I could put up a forum for it on the IM, and take submissions.
Basicaly we could keep a record of all firearms, tanks, ships, aircraft and spacecraft submitted, or possibly just one.
Think 'The Hitchhikers Guide to Nationstates'...
Anybody interested?

This seems a pretty good idea, to do this for nations that have weapons that might be popular or not, this makes their weapons a bit good in ways that they might not have been good in the market.

Good for both Market and Symbolizing of Nations Weapons.

In otherwords, Im intrested

Right.
I was thinking of getting a few people to act as 'reviewers', check out storefronts and see what they like, then TG the owner to see if they would like an 'article' or listing or something.

Thats seems a good way to review weapons, ships, and the such.

Of course, we wouldnt be limited to stores. If we could get somebody to give us their stats for things they dont sell.
So...we can 'review' storefronts, and catalouge them as well...

A small man somewhere in DGNT hits a button marked BUMP.
Somewhere in the world, a topic leaps into the sky.

I planned on making a forum there for it, with sub-forums for modern/futuretech

LOL! More than half of what we use is fit for a Museum-the rest, we developed ourselves.

(Got any idea how hard it is to find an image on-line for the Remington .45 Automatic the Navy almost adopted in the late 1930's? or the Winchester Lightweight Infantry rifle in .224? I ended up having to scan both images out of Hatcher's Notebook (c) 1962, and load 'em directly onto a site...)

I'll post the link in a couple of days...

You can add any or all of those. I make up all my own equipment. Also, I'm about to add a new tank, the P-32 pouch, as soon as I finish modeling it in 3d.

This is very interesting. I propose that you also add the name of the nations selling the piece of hardware so that other nations perusing the museum can buy them if they so wish.

I would be happy to donate some stuff to the mseum.

As would the Dominion - We could contribute an I-JOCS suit and the original HailStorm 20mm Precision Guided Cannon test unit to the museum.

Ok, heres the deal:
To get a review posted write it up and submit it on the 'Submitions' forum, once thats done Ill look at it and if its good, Ill move it to the approriate forum, where others can critique it, complain about it and do whatever.

You can submit anything about weapons, a list, an article, a review, whatever.
Some point in the future I may decide to 'hire' official reporters and editors to do this, if the idea is popular.
And please, ask permission before your write this up. I may require a telegram or confirmation on the forum. Remember, I can see your IP, so dont try to impersonate anybody :P
