"The Senate of the Allied States has passed a Declaration War by Emergency Decree against the Dominion of Prosse for threats (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142105) made against our nation and the stability of the World and the unlawful (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142108) sinking of a damaged merchant vessel of it's coast.

The Act comes into immediate effect and will result in the Naval Fleets recently recalled home be deployed to deal with the situation in Prosse swiftly and with ease.

The standard clause was passed with the Declaration of War and will require the complete and unconditional surrender of Prosse before a ceasation of hostilities can be issued.

The capital city, Balev, literally sparkled in the rising sun. This was largely due to the fact that so many of the buildings were lined with gold leaf, though the "poorer" denizens finished them with only silver. Despite the early hour, hundreds could already be seen milling about in the streets, moving from merchant to merchant, each with their own unique booth. Meanwhile, major corporation buildings rose up like great metal canyons into the sky, with a constrant stream of people beneath.

In the largest of the buildings a guadily dressed man sat musing over paperwork with an idle grin. He wore flowing robes of only the finest cloth and jewelry covered both ears and all his fingers. He sat reclining in a plush office chair, until a single piece of paper caused him to bolt upright. He was a small, nervous man, made more evident as he began pacing and muttering, "No no...not good at all." as he continued to read the report. Finally he hit the comm on his desk and sent a request for his Secretary of Sea Trade.

After a moment, an equally flamboyent looking man rushed into the office. "You called, sir?"

"There's a country out there sinking ships. Do you know what that means? Do you??" He didn't bother waiting for an answer. "It means restriction of trade routes! Which means less ships traveling in that area. Which means less money in our coffers! I think you know what to do."

The secretary was quivering almost visibly now. "Yes, sir. I dispatch forced right away."

"Yes...and see if anyone desires to aid us in this great exploit." The secretary nodded and ran out the door only to return a moment later.

"And the country's name, sir?"

"I told you its..." he glanced down at the paper an sounded it out in his head before saying it, "Prosse."

"General, prepare a quick reaction team but only be ready, I wan't to moniter the situation abit more before I deploy our boys.

There first wave of bombers began to leave the the Aircraft Carriers. They left behind trails of smoke as they alligned in the skies forming Rotovia's classic "V-Run" formation.

The planes hugged low to the gournd as they crossed onto land heading for the nearest major coastal city.

"Squardron Alpha, this is The Messenger. Arm forwar assault missiles and preapre to launch"

With that a series of bright flashs of light iluminated the city against the fallign backdrop of night with waves of thunderous sound filling the air. By the time the sound of the planes engines could be heard they were comming around for a second run...

Tensions continue to escalate in the region of Prosse, with unconfirmed reports that other nations are sending military forces to the area.
The Ministry of External Affairs has repeated its request that all nations in the conflict attempt to seek a peaceful solution; "to that end, we offer the services of the Imperial Diplomatic Corps [MIDC] in an attempt to mediate this dispute".
The Minister has acknowledged that Rotovia is an acknowledged world mediator "but, as one of the protagonists, they can hardly take on an impartial role".
The Minister has also expressed concern over the fate of a missing Marshahnkian vessel, reportedly sunk by the Prossian Navy.
"It is our hope that everything can be done to locate any survivors".
Rumour has it that the Ministry is considering offering the services of the MIDC and the Imperial Navy in locating the missing vessel.

You had no evidence that they had any intent to harm. You had no real reason to consider them a threat. To the best of your knowledge, there was no risk! Be sure I know more about my citizens than you do; Captain Tomason has never shown signs even of smuggling, much less terrorism, and all members of his crew had good records as well. By your reasoning, Prosse, which has shown itself to be aggressive, should be immediately obliterated, and given no chance to explain its actions.
