The Imperial Republic of Unum Veritas, in accordance with Executive Order 8765, has begun a mobilization of troops in all branches of the armed forces. The primary mobilizations will occur in the Imperial Navy, Imperial Marines, and the Republic Air Command. The recently-completed Atlantic Command Naval Base has gone to an increased alert status, as have all fleets based at the facility. Carrier Battle Groups 11, 4, 6, 2, and 14 have also been put on alert, as have all destroyer squadrons and submarine squadrons in the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Fleets. These mobilizations are defensive only, and are in response to the mass workups currently being conducted by several other nations. Be assured that no Veritasean asset will conduct offensive operations without first having been attacked. Once again, these mobilizations are defensive only and should not be seen as a threat to any other country. We wish only to ensure the safety of all Veritasean nationals and other assets throughout the world.
