OOC: This is going to be what is going to get me full space tech, as I've been meaning to go space tech with this nation for a while now, but have been RPing as Veredia for most of the time. I know this is a huge rip off of Macross, but hey, I felt it would be pretty fun...

IC:

Captain Jack Relinsi of the Tundric Air Forces piloted his A-49 Vulture through the sky, a squadron of fighters at his back. Astronomers had detected something big coming out of seemingly nowhere, and it was on a collision course for the Tundra. The orbital stations and what little space forces the Tundra had were keeping an eye out for it, when Jack noticed a large object as he passed through the clouds.

The object was headed downwards, a bright glow, from the ship burning through the atmosphere, was surrounding it.

The object finished its journery through the atmosphere, and plummeted through the sky.

"Jesus christ! It's massive!" yelled one of Jack's pilots as the squadron scrambled to get out of the path of, what appeared to be a ship.

The squadron followed it and sent down messages as the vessel continued its descent and started skimming the ocean, slowing it down, but also damaging some of it even more than it already was, the ship then proceeded to come to rest on one of the most southern islands of the nation.

"Command, you should definately see this..." Jack muttered.

*2 weeks later*

No one in the public, or international community, had been fully informed of what had happened, although they knew was a large object had landed in the Tundra, and that the military had closed off the area for investigation.

Around the island, a fleet of ships had taken up positions, two carrier groups, along with some independent vessels, and the flagship, the Star of the North, a submersible battleship. An airfield and small army base had been established, along with a camp for the researchers and scientists investigating the wreck. Enough information had been gathered that the president was ready to give a formal address as to the situation.

"People of the Tundra and international community, as you all know, two weeks ago, an immense object from space crashed onto one of our southern islands. We have thus far told you little, but now, we will reveal what we know. The object is in fact a vessel, an immense spacborne warship. We have scientists scouring the wreck, and we will reveal what information we gain as we see fit, we are also opening up the island to settlement, as we will need many people to work on this project, doing everything from mundane tasks like simply labour, to running the settlement, as, after consulting parliament, and the military, the island will be run by a civilian government, and the whole project will be run by the federal government. I will now do my best to answer any questions you might have..."
