Ok people, what im trying to do is get togeather a good WW2 Historicly accurate Role Play. I want to see where this goes from 1940 to 1945, from ALL fronts in the WWII theater. I expect that who ever decides to join will play their part as well as they can..best of abliitys.

Any country involved in WWII is welcome in this RP but MUST have suitible knowlage of forces under their command such as..tanks,infintry,aircraft..ect. Pretty much please have fun and Enjoy this Rp like i mean you all to do.

Other Rp'ers may request to command a certian Unit of the country you have chosen, THAT is acceptible but the person who has the country MUST AGREE!

Bump again...common people...

Interesting...the problem is, it's very hard for NS'ers to follow historical canon, especially when it's very hard to judge how much time has elapsed. Few possess a wide knowledge of WWII battles. That being said, I'll be the French/French Resistance (after the takeover). I'll take Vichy France if absolutely no one wants it. However, can I have your Afrika Korps?

I say for simplicities sake, and to make the war stretch out longer/ be more realistic, on rl day = on wwII day. I think that everyone should come up with a list of their main forces by a certain date. I will let you decide upon the date.

I'm just an observer to this thread, but her are the answers your questions. USSR = Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Russia was the largest of those Republics, but it was in fact just one among many. Russia became part of/began the USSR after WWI when Lenin took power from the Czars. Very fascinating piece of history if you ever get interested enough to look into it.

RADIO BRODCAST-BERLIN:

Today members of the Whermacht,Luftwaffe and the Waffen SS crossed the polish border guns blazing!. So far only hours into the assult the poles have suffered many losses and the Thrid Reich close to none at all!. Minimal resistance was encountered, the Luftwaffe are shooting down everything the poles throw at us! message from the front lines describe it as a turkey shoot.

On other news our Austrian brothers and sisters welcome our troops with arms open, as we speak many Austians enlist with the Third reich to fight along side us. A message to any whom choose to intervine, DON'T! or you will be delt with as Poland is at this very second, in the palm of our hands ready to be clenched by the iron fist. Those who are our allies will be under the Eagles wings. Signing off with two last words, SEIG HEIL!

ON THE FRONT LINES-POLAND INVASION:

A young Leiutennet peers through his bonoculars at the battle no more than 500 meters away. A Whermacht Captian approaches then says loudly:

"leiutennet! what is the hold up out there on our advance?"

The Leiutennet replyed without taking his eyes off the situation:

"a dozen or so Poles just surrendered and they are being moved to the safe zone.."

The Captian strained his eyes towards the feild, nodded then walked away towards a waiting Kubelwagon. Despite what the radio brodcast said the German forces had encounterd heavy resistance and took lots of losses in the process of gaining ground. The morale was high and many men let their thoughts be known about how long they beleived the battle would last,most said a week..2 at the most.

OOC: you may move your troops where you will but make it REALISTIC! if you are allied co-op with the allies, if you are under German commanders clear it with them first, real names will be used.

BUNKER SOMWHERE IN BERLIN-1939

A group of Whermact, SS and Luftwaffe officers all of high rank stood around a drafting table moving small unit peices over the border into france. Erich von Manstein and Franz Halder looked at eachother then Erich spoke:

"it is possible to move troops through the ardennes...despite what the french think..our panzers can cross too...."

There was a long pause then Feildmarshall Erwin Rommel entred the room:

"gentleman, the 7th army under my command, led by Heinz Guderian will be prepared later this year..this will take alot of consideration..if we move through southern Belgium and to reach the Channel coast and to force the French government to surrender..very simple task.yes?"

The officers all locked eyes with him as the continued:

"there will be the 6th and 8th Panzers led by Gerd von Rundstedt, aswell with Luftwaffe and Kreigsmarine support, any ways this don't leave here..direct orders from the Fuhuer himself...the only oppisistion we expect is from 4th Armoured Division led by Charles De Gaulle..french gentleman with a high ego! hahaha"

All the officers broke out in laughter from Rommels comment, he saluted and said while leaving the room:

"carry on..."

When Rommel left the meeting ended and all the officers headed for the exit.

POLISH FRONT:

German armor moved quickly and swiftly across the vast territory of poland, resistance was breaking down and the Pole soldiers morale was crashing horribly but they still held their ground as long as they could. The assult on Warsaw was being planned at this very secound, soon it would be reality.

In Paris--9/3/1939, ~10:20AM

Upon news of Germany's aggressive and unprovoked attack into Poland, Premier Daladier, Foreign Minister Bonnet, and the leaders of each of France's branches of military engaged in a hasty meeting. After consultation with her ally, Britain, France followed Britain's suit in issuing an ultimatum to the German government:

Withdraw all your forces from Polish territory by 5:00PM of today, September 3rd, 1939, or you will be open to military action from France, in defense of its Polish allies.

The Australian Government today issued a statement that it would support Britain completely if war should break out.

This might surprise you, but Polish resistance was in fact very fierce, and the Wehrmacht only conquered Western Poland so quickly was because the USSR invaded from the East, and broke the spirit of the Polish defence. Keep that in mind.

Since noone seems to have taken the USSR, I would be more than happy to join in (as the USSR).

News from the USSR!

From his palace in Moscow, today Comrade Stalin declared the formation of the 1st and 2nd Far Eastern Fronts, based to defend against the threat of the Fascist Japanese Aggressors! Rest assured, if any of their misguided armies should attempt to attack us, defeat after defeat after defeat will be inflicted at the behest of our glorious leader!

In Odessa, a new front was formed - the 1st Ukrainian Front, tasked with preparing to defend against the threat posed by the rogue state that is Romania. These evil aggressors have too long threatened the peaceful state that the USSR is renowned for! It is high time that Comrade Stalin threw these Balkan devils back to the hell they came from!

At St Petersburg, Comrade Stalin has ordered that the 1st Lithuanian and 1st Finnish Fronts must be created. The Finns and Balts have long been enemies of the stability that the USSR represents, and clearly we must send in our mighty soldiers to show them that we will not be intimidated by their criminal aggression. The Soviet Union will triumph over its foes!

At Minsk, a grand, new 1st Belorussian Front has been formed. Clearly, the Poles have been acting up, and action must be taken to ensure that they cannot destroy the glorious, perfect nation that Comrade Stalin has designed! These criminals cannot be allowed to continue the petty acts of destruction that the whole world knows they are prone to make! Victory will be ours!

Comrade Stalin released a report today, detailing why the German invasion of Poland is for the good of our nations! In fact, Comrade Stalin has ordered that armies be prepared to aid our western friends in their conquest of this evil, sadistic dictatorship. The people have chosen to support the true hero of our age on this matter, Josef Stalin!

If it's historically accurate.... Then it is decided.... the allies wll win....

The Canadian governemnt reaction was swift upon learning that Britain was going to declare war Germany it was decided to do two things 1. Declare war a week later to show individuality from Britain and 2 to buy as amny war goods from the U.S. as possible.

BREAKING NEWS

The United Kingdom has officially declared itself to be in a state of war with the nation of Germany.

Following in their ally's footsteps, France likewise declared war, citing Germany's refusal to halt its aggressive advance into Poland, disregarding a bi-lateral Anglo-Franco ultimatum to Germany.

Premier Edouard Daladier has called for the immediate mobilization of France's armies in the defense of France against any future German moves into our territory.

I am speaking to you from the Cabinet Room at 10, Downing Street.

This morning the British Ambassador in Berlin handed the German Government a final note stating that unless we heard from them by 11.00 a.m. that they were prepared at once to withdraw their troops from Poland, a state of war would exist between us.

I have to tell you that no such undertaking has been received, and that consequently this country is at war with Germany.

You can imagine what a bitter blow it is to me that all my long struggle to win peace has failed. Yet I cannot believe that there is anything more or anything different I could have done and that would have been more successful.

Up to the very last it would have been quite possible to have arranged a peaceful and honourable settlement between Germany and Poland, but Hitler would not have it.

He had evidently made up his mind to attack Poland whatever happened; and although he now says he has put forward reasonable proposals which were rejected by the Poles, that is not a true statement.

The proposals were never shown to the Poles nor to us; and although they were announced in a German broadcast on Thursday night, Hitler did not wait to make comment on them, but ordered his troops to cross the Polish frontier.

His actions show convincingly that there is no chance of expecting that this man will ever give up his practice of using force to gain his will. He can only be stopped by force.

We and France are today, in fulfilment of our obligations, going to the aid of Poland, who is so bravely resisting this wicked and unprovoked attack on her people. We have a clear conscience. We have done all that any country could do to establish peace. The situation in which no word given to Germany’s ruler could be trusted and no people or country could feel themselves safe has become intolerable.

And now that we have resolved to finish it, I know that you will play your part with calmness and courage.

At such a moment as this the assurances of support that we have received from the Empire are a source of profound encouragement to us.

When I have finished speaking certain detailed announcements will be made on behalf of the Government. Give these your closest attention.

The Government have made plans under which it will be possible to carry on the work of the nation in the days of stress and strain that may be ahead. But these plans need your help.

You may be taking part in the fighting Services or as a volunteer in one of the branches of civil defence. If so you will report for duty in accordance with the instructions you have received.

You may be engaged in work essential to the prosecution of war for the maintenance of the life of the people – in factories, in transport, in public utility concerns or in the supply of other necessaries of life. If so, it is of vital importance that you should carry on with your jobs.

Now may God bless you all. May He defend the right. It is the evil things that we shall be fighting against – brute force, bad faith, injustice, oppression and persecution – and against them I am certain that the right will prevail.

I'm 90% sure that the Allies declared them first.

Japan asks the USSR if they would like to talk about the situation. With them and Japan, as well as there position in Asia.

Japan orders the Kwantung army to reform from 13 divisions and 1 air division into 10 divisions and 1 air division. The new three will go to the Korea army, which will now be 5 divisions strong. It will be base 3 of it's divisions into the north of Korea.
Troops get ready for assault on Hong Kong.

Japan government, asks Britain to give up, Hong Kong.
Also, the Japanese say they will not join the war in Europe, only if requested, most people want to be with the Germans, after the allies back stabbed us in world war one :x

Today we have received word from the "allied" forces to withdraw from poland. Our great Fuhuer replyed with a laugh! we will not withdraw! only push on! Quote:

"great Britian,france and austrailia cannot withstand our forces, as our units are the best equiped ELITE troops ever to step on the battlefeild! STAND DOWN OR BE PUT DOWN!"

On other news Mussolini and Hitler speak of foring an Alliance, Also members of the Japanease aswell as members of the russian goverment attend the conferance to throw down the enemy oppisition set ahead of us. Germany bear with us as VICTORY WILL COME!

POLISH FRONT:

After 2 weeks of intense combat the polish army surrenders. Operation "final solution" comes into order although the nature of this plan will not be released. Thousands of SS, Whermacht and Luftwaffe troops march through occupied poland. Casulties on the german side were more than expected, poland wasn't a push over like most beleived.

Air power is at the fullest, ground forces are left with no dutys becides hustle prisoners to camps and give full co-operation with the Waffen SS.
