Well i have 5 million people, and 1% of that is 50,000 i think. So my 1st military read-out is this:

Army

35,000

Infantry - Command 500, and 3 battalions (redcoats) so 20,000
Armour - 5 tank divisions, 500 strong each (2500, 4per tank plus crews equals 10000+2000 so 12,000)
Artillery - 2000
Spec Forces - 1000

Navy

10,000 personnel

6 Imperial Dreadnaughts
20 Lancer Class Detroyers
20 Striker Class Frigates

Air Force

5,000 personnel

Under development and consruction, as of yet no aircraft are in BI armed services.

I hope this isn't a vast over statment

The only thing that looks off is that I think you would need more than 10,000 personnel to man nearly 50 ships.....I mean, at present you have just over 200 men per ship manning ships that require 2 or 3 times that......

You can afford to have a little more than 1% of your population in your armed forces.....just don't make it more than about 3% or your economy gets hammered....

So i need 600 for a dreadnaught? and 400 for a frigate/destroyer? i'll bear that in mind :D thanks :D

I just noticed that you use dreadnoughts and redcoats.
I now want to establish that embassy, simply because that is style. Are they modern dreadnoughts and redcoats, or pre, to WW1 tech.

OOC I don't know the exact numbers, no doubt someone else can tell you. However, I do know you need more than 200 people.....

Seeing that I'm attempting to invest some interest here, I'll throw in something too.

If I were you, I would leave my military details a good deal less defined, as you gain a few million people a day, whatever information you put down will soon end up to be outdated. Set numbers I find don't really work so well as just a vague idea, only defining what you need at the time.

But whatever floats your boat.

He don't have a Death Star or an enterprise. I am not impressed.

OOC Just looked it up. A Dreadnought had a crew of around 800, and I couldn't find the info for frigates or destroyers, but I would guess they are around 500-600 each....

Why did that sway you?

There what Dreadnaughts and Redcoats would have been if the British Empire was still around i guess, no point them being old, everyone here is modern!

1: Nobody uses redcoats anymore. Well, I do, but only at ceremony, and from my messengers. Anybody that uses redcoats gets a star.
2: I love dreadnoughts. Anybody that uses dreanoughts gets a star.
They are my 2 reasons.
