Well since we dont have enough people; i just like to say a few things.

I assume most you have seen the movie (since it is fairly old)
we can either rp the first starship trooper, or we can do the 2nd one that is comming out.

I think we're doing 2 and they only caught one of the Brain Bugs, there are loads.
The War Never Ends!

i´ll be Frederick Stahl, a young recruit who often gets a little too overexcited about killing bugs...

Please tell me you're atleast going to have some other tactics aside the "rush them in great mass and let a few squads from the front rank fire and then retreat" bozo tactic they used when invading Klendathu. Because that must have been one of the dumbest infantry tactics i have ever seen, oh and not to mention the complete lack of tanks, artillery or indirect fire.

And remember kids, if there are nasty bugs down on a planet that eat you for leisure, and if there is nothing down on that planet that you need to preserve, nuke it. Nukes > Bugs.

Well i think the plot is gonna be that the bugs have sent the asteroid to earth and destroyed the city (forgot name.) I think we will start by invading for the 1st time (basicly like the 1st movie but we can have it go good or bad.)
Basicly we will rp the 1st movie and move into the 2nd movie, which i think their is a rouge outpost that the humans hold from the bugs. (i think it is called Outpost 147) Well there ya go, i did not have much time to write this (sry i didnt rp this time, but i will tonight when i reply to this.

CPL. Juillet Gontarz. She is a female veteran of the MI. Long curly Brunette hair she is as deadly as she is beautiful.

Where the books and movie come apart is that the movie is really nothing at all like the book. In the book the MI was one elite branch of the military. The MMI fought in powered armor suits which allowed them to jump across the fild of battle and used squad tatics unlike the freight shuttles and mass attacks of the movie. Movie was kind of dissapointing reall.

[After learning that his home city got destroyed by an asteroid, he ran back to general Owen (i think thats the guy) asking if he can join the Mobile Infantry again. Rico quit after he got punished for letting a solider take off his helmet during a live-fire exercise, who got killed; Ouch!. Owen lets him re-join and is assigned to the Rough Necks.]

A tall young man with brown hair and eyes looks in horror at the screen in front of him. A complete massacre. "How could this happen?" he wonders.

Around him, other soldiers whisper nervously amongst themselves. Thousands of lives vanished in seconds. He began to fell sick. He staggers out of the barracks with a heavy heart.

He leans against a wall and closes his eyes.

"Supplies!! We´re being invaded and i have to go get supplies!" Frederick said to himself. "This is the third time they won´t let me defend my country. oh well, i might as well do this and then maybe they´ll let me defend my own country. Let´s see... oh man, this list is soooooo long, this i gonna take all day!"

"Sir, 2 asteroids have just impacted in Los Angles and New York City." Said Chris Commander at Mt. Kerigan.
"Why in hell didn't we detect these asteroids?" said President Keith
"They were made of some light absorbing material." Said Chris
"Great, well what is the damage?" asked Keith
"Million's dead, Los Angles is . . . just . . . gone, half of New York City was obliterated!" said Chris
"Jesus Christ, well; start a State of the Union Address Juliet." Said Keith
"I will start on it immediately."Said Keith's secretary (Juliet)
"Also turn on the tube lets see what Channel 23 has to say have to say." Said Keith
[Some lady on the t.v.] Reports are coming in that 2 asteroids have impacted Los Angles and New York City. We don't know if this is some hoax, or if it is real. We have news groups in the area, wait 1 minute while they set up. While we wait, wait . . . Bob is that you? Are you set up? You are ok. Here is channel 23's own Bob Smith. Go ahead.

"While you look over my left shoulder, you will see the shear destruction here in NYC. Looks over here [pointing] you will see what appears to be an asteroid. Wait, its opening up . . . something is coming out . . . o dear god RUN, It's, it's, it's a bug! An 8 foot tall Bug! It is eating and killing anything that moves . . . As you can see . . . [screams] . . . "Bob are you there, Bob, Bob come in . . . dear-god we are under attack by Bugs. Tony are you there in Los Angles?" Yes we are. "Ok go ahead."

"As when can see there are thousands of bugs coming out of this asteroid, and they keep coming out . . . [screams] Jesus, Mike Run, omg run, faster, drop the damn camera, lets get the hell out of here." "Tony are you there, Tony? "
"Yes I am we just made it out. One minute ill get our 2nd camera. As you can see, these bugs are extremely fast, easily running 30 to 40mph. O shit Mike punch it, step on the gas. Jesus Christ lets get out of here . . . Get the F------- army and air force in here."

4 hours later the presidents state of the union . . .
"Hmmmm. This may sound crazy, but we are being invaded, by bugs. You can look on any news channel it is all that is on the news. While I talk about what these bugs are I would want every nation to know that we can handle the ones in our nation, but we want to end this thing from where it starts. We are planning a join-strike alliance of any nation that would want to help us. We plan to go from world, to world within their own solar system and eradicate these bugs from their source. There may be 1 world there might be 100's, we just don't know. We are sending probes into their solar system; by the time, we get ready for a join-strike attack, we will know how many worlds there are, and what we are up against.

Well here is the video we have from Channel 23's Bob and Mike [5 minutes later the tape is over] As you can see these bugs are . . . just crazy. They have no sense of life except for their own. We need help. We can't battle this enemy alone. We hope to not just end the war here, but to bring the war to their home world. We wish to end this damn thing from where it starts. But we need a co-op nation alliance to do this. We don't have the man power to do this by our selves.

[Rough Necks]
"Lets move out, Rico your at point, Cassy left point, myself right point, move, move, move; we have to meet up with the other Mobile Infantry units. screamed Colonel Banks.
[while they were moving through a deserted section of a suburb they heard gunfire from behind them] "Rico, Cassy go find out what the hell is going on back there." said Colonel Banks.
"sir, yes sir"
As Rico and Cassy were running to reinforce the rear, Rico was thinking damn bugs, damn bugs. Then they stopped in their tracks and saw 10 Bugs running at them, "Cassy run back to the Colonel and tell him we got company. Ill hold then off for now, GO" said Rico
"Hell no, i want some dead bugs now, i aint leaving till this party is over." said Cassy.
"we have 10 seconds till they are within range, engage your Nightmare Battle Suits." Rico said to Cassy
"roger"
As they were Ripping apart the bugs using hollow tip bullets they heard more gunfire ahead of them. Jesus christ what the F--- is going on, are they surronding us; thought rico. I am sending a message for backup.

[code:1:21439bc277] To all Mobile Infantry units. This is Rough Necks unit 13 we are under heavy attack.......[gunfire]....... We have multiple ground and air units. We are in Sector 8-A. We have engaged our Nightmare Battle Suits, but are running low on energy........[more gunfire]...... We need enough dropships for 20 men, with full battle suits(Rico will repeat this message every 3 mintues.)......[transmission stops abruptly] [/code:1:21439bc277]

"This is Black Widow Company there is no resistance yet, we are continuing towards Delta Base after reports of an attack. Next transmission will be at 1800 hours."

There it was chaos, she saw her fellow MI troopers besiged by many more Bugs. Rico's call for evac was heard the dropship made its landing right in the center of the MI perimeter. As the dropship lands CPL. Gontarz jumps from it still 100 meters above the ground, her suits thrusters allowing her to land safely.

"Everyone in who wants out of here" she screams as she fires upon the ever closer bugs.

As the rough necks made a perimeter around the dropships, and saw Gontarz jump out, they realized they weren't alone. Then came the awful sound of a Tanker bug (the large ones, with flame-throwers).
When Rico heard this he realized it was over, they had to fall back to Delta Base [lets make this our homebase people].

"All of my men lets go, get in the drop ships as soon as they land." yelled rico; as he realized these nightmare suits were old, they need to go get their advanced Nightmare Battle Suits.
When they were all in the dropships he fired a mini-nuke out of his Mark V Launcher. "Good-bye bugs." he yelled as it fired.

Gontarz was the last trooper aboard the drop ship dispatching a warrior bug on her way in. A she lay in the drop ship she recovered her breath her body still excited form the thrill of battle as she saw Rico obliterate the bugs with the nuke as the drop ship sped away to their home base. There Rico stood by the hatch, in his bloody amour, boy did he look good.

(You might want to change the year to sometime in the 2100's when the movie, book and show occur.)

OOC: Having successfully seen the movie 47 times (yep, i kept track) I might joing this. But I have a large RP I'm starting, so I might not have time.

On the way to delta base Rico realized Gontarz the way she looked at him. He knew he liked her and he now knew she liked him.
"Nice work back there Gontarz you saved our asses, how far is delta base from here?" asked Rico. (waiting for reply)

"Rough Necks we arent saved much but when we are, we are in our evac's
debt. Got that? Now if they are in trouble, we will help them, no matter how many bugs there are. . .When we get back to delta, change into your Mark III Nightmare Battle Suits." yelled Rico
[in unison] "Sir, yes Sir" said the Rough Necks.

'Not far, about 45 minutes" Gontarz said. She sat down in the copilots seat, she stripped out of the heavy torso armor, clad in only the tight formfitting body suit the MI wore under the powered armor suits.

I wrote down in the rules that anyone can rp the bugs. Yes u can be a pilot if u want to.

The descending dropship attracted the attention of the drones, many looked up blinded by the seering sun, recognising potential danger the drones darted for cover. while (ill call the flying bugs locusts as i dont know their names) locusts swarmed from their perches heading for te drop ship.

Graduating at the top of his class in the Fleet Academy, James Bauer was destined to be sent off packing to command a ship of his own, if not in the intelligence corps. Destined or not, however, he wanted to experience the adrenaline rush of being on the ground with MI to see the grit of war that would rarely be present on the bridge of a hulking behemoth. No, bombarding a planet was too impersonal a way to fight the bugs for this adventurous soul. He wanted to be there in the midst of all the fighting instead. He wasn't able to turn down the offer when he finally got into the fleet (for fear of being branded a traitor, shot, then sent to the sun), so he did the next best thing--he slept with an Admiral's daughter. They were quick to transfer him to MI, sent to med training, and inducted into the Roughnecks--all within the span of a month or two. He wanted to be a straight-up infantryman...but this was the closest he was ever going to get.

James was a few seats away from Rico when he heard his platoon leader mentioning something about battle suits. He clears his throat nervously as he turns to him.

"Sir...I never got training for the battle suits. They rushed me through MI and never even told me I'd use any power armor..."

Sighing, he took off his helmet, his hair and face glistening with sweat. He scratches the back of his head unnervingly as he waited for a response--either verbally or by being picked up by his chest armor and lifted by Rico.

The sky around the drop ship was filled with hoppers, buzzing them. Wallace opened up with his .50 calibre cannons, ripping hundreds to shreds. But there was a whole swarm out there, at least 2 thousand stickin' bugs. And there were many more, on the ground, swarming out of the asteroid crater. A tide of death. The drop was going to be hot, with the nearest miltary base surrounded by bugs. He clicked on the intercom.
"Hey you guys back there. This LZ is hot!! Perhaps you wouldn't mind peeeking out the window and clearing a space, would ya'?"

The brain bug deep within the catacombs realized the casulties that the swarm was suffering. Within an instance of telepathic communication the swarm was ordered to withdraw.

OOC: Hey guys can I Join in? (Also, Imperial Brits, plz respond to my post in your Freespace thing.) I'd like to foward something new, a new race of Aliens that hunt the Arachnids for pleasure, fun, and because their legs and mouths are worth alot in their culture. I'll do an Intro psot if you okay the idea.

"James Bauer aaa... your the one that just joined our squad. Well i got just the thing for you, meet me outside in the barracks in 15 minutes." said Rico.

[10 minutes later] When James arrives Rico has 2 Nightmare Mark II and III Battle Suits in James' locker. "Well this one is the Mark II it is capable of 15% faster running speed, 10% higher stamina, 15% strength increase. the Mark III is 25% faster running speed, 18% higher stamina, 26% strength increase, 45% better accuracy, and 12% quicker reflexes. You probably want to start on the Mark II so your body can get use to it.
In 5 days you can use the mark III, until then use Mark II trust me. If you go right to the Mark III you can easily break bones, twist ankles, fracture bones, etc very, very ugly." said Rico.


(OOC:Brandoniats u trying to land at Delta base, or are you crash landing?)

"'Get used to it', sir? I...I don't want my excuse to come off as a sign of cowardice, but how can I be a medic if I can't be as mobile?"

Bauer glanced at the Mark II suit with a twitch of a brow...How the heck could that hulk increase one's physical abilities if it looks cumbersome itself?

"It looks like there's no compartment to carry medical supplies on that thing either, sir. I don't think I can treat anything more extensive than a small cut."

OOC: Delta Base, and I thought Rico was on my dropship.

OOC: i have no clue Brandoniats, on page 2 i was in The WIcks Dropship, i thought? well anyway i guess ill make a second rough neck group that is in your dropship.

IC: "jeeze there is thousands of bugs out there, Lt. Cmdr. Wallace get this dropship moving faster, rough necks start blasting them out of the sky." yelled Cmdr. Jordan over the roar of the engines as they powered up.
OOC: in response to medic problem. i have no clue, i think in the movie they had a special Battle Suit for medics. Cause i swear i saw a few medics in the 1st engagment. Maybe not.

James was screwed. He was alone with only his suit and a gun. Any second now, the bugs would find him.

He needed cover. Perhaps his dropship would work...

He quickly ran over to the wreck. The metal was burned and twisted. He could smell the burnt flesh of his comrads. He began to gag.

Above him, locusts flew through the city killing any one they found. James watched as one plucked a young child up into the air. He heard the child's screams of terror and pain. "Damn it..." he thought as he realized he was probably going to die.He sighed . It was then that he heard the flutter of wings behind him.

Without thinking, he turned and fired. The gun let out ten bullets, all of which hit the bug's head, causing it to be blown off. Crimson blood shot out of its neck. It slumped to the ground and a pool of blood formed around James.

The gunfire had alerted others. They dived down at him screeching. James preparred himself for almost certain death. He began to fire.

One of the monster's grabbed him and lifted him into the air. It began to claw at him. One claw tore through part of his leg. He screamed in pain as he felt his bones crunch. "DIE YOU MOTHER FUCKER!" he yelled lifting his gun. He shot through the monster's body. It let out a screech and it tumbled through the air to the ground. With James clinging onto it.

Lt. Cmdr. Wallace jinked right to avoid the hopper coming straight at him, only to end up in the path of another. A burp fromthe guns clipped its wings, and turned it into bug splat on the windshield.
"Sh--, we've lost visual. Delta Base, this is Dropship delta-one-niner, we are inbound on IFR. I say again, we are inbound without visual from a bearing of 240 degrees. We require a little interdiction here. We've hoppers up our tailpipe and closing."
The dropship lurched to the right, throwing the crew to the sidewall.
"Damn, now their ramming us. Roughnecks, at least TRY to get some of those things off us, if you want us to make it back in on piece!"

Introduction:

"We are approaching target area, beginning descension.." The lumbering transport vessel began to lower in altitude, revealing itself from the clouds as it made way toward its LZ point. There was an occasional blast of plasma bolts that jittered the whole ship. A few unfortunate vessels were struck, one of them being the 4th Recon Squad of the 16th Head Hunters Platoon, as their cargo hulls were ripped to shreds by the volatile projectiles, instantly killing all those onboard.

Lt. Johnathen Duraham looked from one side of the ship to the other side, looking at his strike team, all the while paying close attention to the communications going on between the pilots of the dropship he was on, and others.

"V-0985, ease up on the descent, you're dropping in way too fast!"

"This is V-78, we're taking heavy plasma fire! Our LZ is a-" The pilot was instantly cut-off as a plasma bolt hit the transport dead center, reducing it to mere chunks of metals and occasional body parts.

Captain Higgins kept a firm grip at the controls, struggling to keep the ship stable and evade plasma fire as his dropship descended closer and closer to the Black Guard's LZ. His co-pilot took the controls as he switched on his radio to Lt. Duraham. Lieutenant! LZ fast approaching! Be ready to unload! Retrieval at.. 1900!

Roger that Captain. Duraham looked up as the interior of the ship lit up red, signifying to all the troops that they were steadfastly approaching their landing point. The Lieutenant looked up toward his men again, time for the re-brief, "Lock and load boys! Sound off!" Duraham took mental note as each soldier yelled out his call number, making sure that everyone was present and that there were no stragglers. The last man, the second lieutenant, finished the roll call as Duraham continued, "Alright, listen up! HQ has reported massive bug activity in north and west of our initial position! There are also reports of citizens still entrapped in the west, a small squadron there was ceased all communications so its a pretty good guess that they all bought the farm!.. First squad!"

"Sir, yes sir!"

"You are to secure the landing zone!.. Second squad!"

"Sir, yes sir!"

"Proceed toward west vicinity and search and rescue any and all civilians! Escort them back to Retrieval Point Alpha for pick up! You get me!?"

"We get you sir!"

Just as Duraham had finished his orders, the entire ship shuddered, the platoon feeling the light shakes as the dropship was beginning to land; the sound of an explosion was near, another dropship met a premature end. The doors of the dropship slowly began to open down, exposing the troopers to the bright sun and sounds of gunfire and shouting.

"Let's move! move!" Duraham immediately was the first to step off the ship as the his platoon followed suit.

OOC: I'll be roleplaying as Duraham for a bit before I switch to my main character (Mikael Morrigan). So, how's it look?

The bug fell to the ground with James clinging to it. If the thing landed on him, he would be crushed. There was no time to think. He leaped away from it and landed with a crunch. He screamed as he felt his legs break. Bones pierced his skin like a bugs claws. He was now losing a lot of blood.

He winced as he crawled to the dead locust. He had to stay safe from the other bugs. He hoped that his idea worked.

James remebered seeing a documentary on regular bugs when he was little. The bugs could tell which other bugs were a part of their hive, so they wouldn't kill each other. They somehow gave of a scent that was caused by a gland in their heads (I saw something like this in the one Mimic movie, I realize this probably isn't true).

James felt sick as he cut open the creature's head and put his hand inside. He soon pulled out the gland. He rubbed it all over his body, hoping that he would be safe.

A nausiating smell came into contact with his nostrils. He began to vomit. When he was done, he tried to calm down. His whole body was hurting. He groaned as he layed down. He soon fell asleep.



After an hour, James was awakened to find that he was still alive. He then saw some people standing in front of him. There were about twenty in all, and they were all wounded. "Uh..hi...I guess..." he said weakly. The people looked at him. A young woman stepped forward.

"You, you are a soldier. Am I correct?" she asked him.

"Yeah. I'm a soldier."

"We need you to get us ou of here. Could you possibly radio the closest base?"

"Sure." he replied. He pulled out his radio and pressed a button. "Delta Base, this is Ensign James Woden (that's the lowest military level I know of and I'm not sure if it can apply to soldiers, so if I'm using this incorrectly, would someone tell me?). I have about twenty civilians with me, and we all need medical attention." he looked around the city. "I think we are at the old town hall. Please send a dropship to pick us up."

he waited then for a response...

OOC (Clerifying i hope): The WIck i have no clue, i got lost after Brandonaits said i was on his dropship. So i made up a second squad, figuring i was on Brandonaits dropship, but now you say i am on your dropship. Ok.. Rico is on The WIck's dropship, Jordan is on Brandonaits dropship, that sound good?

As Rico and his men were trying to clear a path for delta base (firing through portholes. He started to ask how much ammo everyone has.

OOC: Dang did i ever screw up. im fixing my other posts.

OOC: Assuming this is after Rico becomes the Roughnecks Lt. Do you want to use the movie type dropship[s, or the ones from the animated series?

IC: "Lt, I am doing my darndest. My cannons are dry here, and we've got a serious swarm closing from due north. I'm going to try to pick up some speed by taking her into a dive. I highly suggest you boys strap in back there!"

Giving the MI about a minute to strap in, Wallace pushed in the yoke, and pointed the nose at the ground. He noticed a plasma bug that he hadn't seen before, glowing from the inside. Wallace firewalled the throttle, and pointed straight at the bug. The glow intensified, causing his goggles to darken. He launched a retarded missile, which immediately slowed and rose above them. About 10 metres from the bug's hide, he pulled up, scraping the belly of the dropship against the leathery wings, and screamed away at full throttle.

"Cover your eyes, MI!"

A moment later, there was the brilliant flash of a nuclear missile detonating, just as the bug's a$$ end opened up to release a burst. A rolling wall of plasma followed the dropship. Wallace dived over a ridge, hugging the pockmarked, bug ridden ground. The plasma waved blew over the ridge, roasting the nearest bugs, charring the others.

"Lt. Rico! May I have your company on the flight deck for a moment!"

OOC: Mr. Rico, please telegram me on working out the conversation these 2 are going to have. I have an idea in mind, but I want to look it over with you.

"Oh man, I think I'm going to chuck out lunch..." Bauer's face was literally green as he said so, his nautious state caused by the erratic maneuvers of the dropship. He reached for a nearby container of datapads and let his projectile vomit fly into it.

This is the last time I volunteer for a combat drop. A futile hope, that's for sure. But it was hope for something, nonetheless.


"Lt. Rico! May I have your company on the flight deck for a moment!"

Bauer hoped to God that the pilot wasn't going to tell them to land down there with all those bugs scurrying about...

Wiping his mouth, the green-tainted private looked up at his superior.

"Umm..." Uh oh.... His mind raced from one thought to another, trying to remember what it was that he wanted to tell his platoon leader. One second...Two seconds...Three...Ten. Within the span of what seemed to be eternity, he stood there with his brows furrowed and stomach still churning.

Finally, he had composed himself and remembered his own question. "The power suits, sir. I'm not qualified to operate either the Mark I or II..." Sheepishly, he finally popped the question that most greenies probably asked. "Maybe I could...uhh...stay on the ship, sir, to wait for the wounded to arrive. I'd probably just get in the way down there."

Rico climbed up to the flight deck and stood beside Wallace. Wallace looked for a moment at Rico, then turned back to his controls.

OOC: The figure's colours are outside the see-able spectrum. So that's why the figure shimmers. If it stops shimmering so much to a point where it simply doesn't, it's activated it's cloak.

IC: A shimmering figure stood on top of a cliff, just above a bug colony. Using it's Mask, it could count at least 500 Bugs, all climbing over each other, in the type of controlled chaos you'd see other bugs do. And observing the chaos with a type of grin, it sat, waiting for it's partner.

Waiting no longer for it's Partner, the shimmer jumped off the cliff, and landed a KM below, on top of a bug. The figure had stopped shimmering so much, and was now near invisable. A pair of Blades came out of a thing attacked on it's right Arm, and it sliced into the bug. It screamed in pain, and other bugs came to see what was wrong. They could see a deep wound, but they couldn't see the figure digging into it's heart. After a few seconds the screaming stopped, the bug . A few minutes later several things were missing from the Bug: The Heart, It's Brain, It's eyes, It's tongue, and it's Anus. The figure walked out, no longer shimmering, because it was covered in a Green goo.

The bugs turned and saw the Figure. It's...snake like hair, raised in warning. The bugs, not knowing what it was, just decided to attack it. So the bugs stampeded towards the Figure from all sides. The figure jumped just as they all smashed into the circle he was in. While in the air, a huge cannon like thing raised up onto it shoulder. It instantly started to whur round, and then fired balls of Plasma at a very high speed. It smashed into the assortment of bugs, blowing them up with a spectacular blue fire.

The figure only wanted what it had got, now it was just for the hell of it. Swipe, BOOM, Slash Slash, Swipe, BOOM, Slash Slash was the Figures pattern today. It did this combination at any bug that got near, and after an hour, every bug was . The figure used an auto-scrubbing mechanism, and the cloak was cleaned. The figure turned it off, and went into Meditation (their version of sleep), waiting for it's Partner, or waiting for some other bug to come.

CPL Gontarz hears Rico's orders as she checks the ship for its emergency arms hold. she finds it near the cockpit, when opened she finds only six mags of ammo and two rifles. Gontarz distributes the ammo to the nearst troopers and keeps a mag and the second rifle for herself. She then straps herself into the seat and braces for the impact that was soon to come

OOC: Just to let you know, I'm going to post a reply in about 5 minutes...

OOC: Oops, sorry, had computer problems

IC: Wallace sighed. He'd managed to keep the boat in the air for 10 minutes now, even though his last engine was starting to sputter. The ground rushed by beneath him, lifeless. It was hard to believe that this place used to have several million people around. Now, it was just a wasteland. The landing was going to be hard, if he was lucky.
Then, another snag hit him.
He and his co-pilot didn't have power armor, which mean, the Roughnecks in their armor were going to leave them behind. And all they had to defend themselves were a couple of rifles and knives stowed behind their seats. Not what he'dhave packed to fend off bugs for at least 10 klicks. Wallace slumped in his seat, contemplating their fate and wrestling the heavy controls.
5 minutes later, the boat was still in the air, barely. The starboard engine was sputtering even more now, and the trees were getting mighty close. Wallace brightened a bit. Perhaps the engine would carry them all the wat to Delta Base.
Right then, the engine blew.
It tossed shrapnel against the side of the dropship, and Wallace thought he heard one penetrate. He couldn't tell. The ground was growing faster now, so Wallace dropped what little flaps the boat had. These things weren't designed to fly on aerodynamics. They bit air, anf the dropship slowed and rose slightly, then dropped. They were at treetop level now, or below that. Good thing there were no trees around.
Then, they hit a boulder.
The only damned boulder with 50 klicks, and they had hit it. (:lol:) It sent them into a sickening clockwise spin, throwing Wallace to the left and pinning him there. His copilot was only being held in his seat by his harness. How the Roughnecks were doing, he didn't know. The boat it the ground, and Wallace blacked out.

As soon as Rico heard the engine blow up, he yelled Duck, but it was to late; 2 of his men (Privates: Bob, and Chris) got impaled :cry:. Then he saw the f------ boulder comming and said "God Damnit, what a place to land, nice going Wallace." then everything went black.


Rico woke up, and ran over to Cassy seeing if she was alive. Luckily she was only blacked out. Then he looked behind himself and saw a horrifying site, one that no Lt. should see. Blood, brains, and organs everywhere. While they were out, looked as if a few bugs came for a snack! Luckily the people that were "still in what is left of the dropship" survived. (Don't no why they didn't go over to the dropship.) He counted 14 out of his 20 men dead. [Now Brandonaits, we should have enough Nightmare suits for you]
Then he went around waking up his men. Next he went up front to check on Wallace, turned out Wallace was only blacked out as well. (returning to the back of the dropship)
[i] Rough Necks, move out! Make a perimeter, set up all of our sentinels. If you see bugs, blast them, :!: remember the only good bug is a dead bug. :!: MOVE OUT, have this all setup before Wallace gets out here. Go yelled Rico

Bauer completely blacked out during the crash, and when he came to had no idea what was going on. He unstrapped himself from the harness that had saved his life, landing with a metallic clang onto the floor below. Blood trickled down his face; fortunately it wasn't his.

"MOVE OUT, have this all setup before Wallace gets out here. Go!"

So it had come to this...They were God-knows-how-far from Delta Base with a billion bugs (give or take a few HUNDRED million more) laying in ambush outside of the ship, and he didn't have a clue as to how the damn power suits worked. I should've stayed in fleet, he thought.

Gontarz saw the bug launch itself at her leader, she would let herself be killed sooner then see a bug kill Rico. The multipule retorts of her dual rifles was heard thoughout as a stream of bullets turn the nerve center of the bug into mush. The bug however became a missile still directed at Rico though not under its own control anymore.

Wallace was holding his head as he tried to get up. The windscreen was shattered, and there was his blood on the wall of the cockpit where his head had been pinned. He felt the head of his head. Wet. Not soft, so it must just be a tear in the skin. His copilot was still unconscious. He unstrapped himself, and moved to help the pilot. He stirred the woman's head, but it dropped to an un-natural angle. It was broken, the copilot was dead. Wallace stripped the dogtags from her neck and put them around his own. He climbed down the step to the troop compartment. Nothing moved in there. The door was open though. Wallace stepped out the door and into the harsh sunlight. What he saw worried him.

Without even thinking, Bauer got to his feet and gripped firmly onto Rico's armor strap, jerking it backwards milliseconds before the razor-sharp exoskeleton of the newly-deceased bug sailed past him.

What the hell did I just do? I could've had my arm cut off if I had been a second late...

There was no time to dwell on that thought, or apologies for that matter. The swarm of bugs had already encircled their defunct dropship, they were short by a few men, there was little ammo to pass around--and...

Shrieking...coming their way. But not the guttural sounds the bug made--it was jet exhaust. Bombers were coming in to mop up.

Bauer turned to Wallace, and as he spoke, pointed at where the sound was coming from. "Can the dropship withstand something like that?"

The Figure looked up at the ers going overhead. He'd never seen a bug ship like that before. But, as he watched, his partner came down. The figure turned, hugged his partner, and telepathically agreeing, the started to run VERY fast, nearly as fast as the ers. They wanted to see what these new bugs did, and what they were attacking...

But, both of them had forgotten to initiate their cloaks. So while they were still near invisable, apart from the stuttering, the Bugs could see them...

Just as the Rough Necks were finishing setting up the Perimeter, and Bauer saved rico's Ass, they started to flood the perimeter.
Damnit, why now? Everyone hold them off, either Bauer or Wallace call the bombers, tell them to clean this sector up. Even if it kills us. [Gun Fire, a lot of gunfire] yelled Rico
As the Rough Necks and the crew, try to fight off the swarm, they hear the sound of bombers. [thx god said Rico, then he thought what the hell we gonna use for cover. I dont think the dropship can withstand a direct hit.... :wink:]

[over the radio] Downed dropship, anyone copy? This is Bombers 1,2, and 3. I repeat anyone copy?

Suddenly, the comms unit still strapped onto Pvt. Chris's back crackled to life with the voice of the incoming bombers. " Downed dropship, anyone copy? This is Bombers 1,2, and 3. I repeat anyone copy?"

Bauer reached over to grab the handset and screamed an order into the it.

"Light up our perimeter! We're going to try to take cover inside the ship!"

He furrowed his brows, wondering if they'd make it or not...The dropship was one tough beast with enough armor plating to withstand re-entry, but cluster bombs? Bauer pressed his lips upon a small cross he carried and hoped to God they'd make it...

As the Rough Necks heard Pvt. Chris yell to get in the drop ship, and the Bombers on approach they knew what was happening. They grabbed everything they could carry and ran for the dropship. As soon as they ducked for cover, they heard the 1st pass of cluster bombs, and boy was it a doozy. Immediately everybody's ear drums burst, then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th pass got iincreasingly worse. When it was all over, pretty much everyone was in ok shape. Only Cassy was able to bounce right back up.
As she was walking around checking on everyone she saw Rico, boy did he look horrible. When she reached him, he had blood comming out of his mouth, nose, and ears suggesting internal injuries. Then she checked for his pulse, it was strong. 3rd, she checked his pupils, when she lit his pupils, they didn't (get larger or is it smaller?) Well anyway he probably had a severe Concussion, and possible broken bones.

Gontarz hearing the order to take cover in the drop ship started to run towards it. the MI perimeter collapsed upon itself as the trooper made for the ship. They bound back in teams covering one another with a discipline instilled by their drill sergeants. Gontarz dropped her second rifle as it was depleted of ammo. She was at the door of the ship the last trooper to enter as she saw a bug charge her. She aimed her rifle at it and pulled the trigger it did not fire. She did the only thing she could and jumped into the ship She reached it landing in its hold, then it happened.

The bug struck its limb through her thigh, her crimson blood gushing upwards. Her body went into shock as she was dragged from the ship. Another limb pieced trough her chest just below her right shoulder, another into her stomach. The bug dragged her dying body trough the sands, leaving a bloody smear. She looked up at her killer unable to move her body anymore, completely broken and defeated. She shut her eyes and greeted death as more bugs descended upon her.

OOC: Time to end this character enjoyed the thread but am too busy to participate anymore.

As Cassy checked over Rico, the figures appeared. They stopped over her, and watched with the kind of curiosity as a child to something new. The stutterings for the figures increased, they skin changed colour due to curiosity, just becoming visable to Cassy...

Throughout the whole ordeal, Bauer had crept low in a fetal position, head and ears covered for the inevitable. The muffled explosions still managed to ring his ears, but when he finally opened his eyes, it seems that he was one of the lucky few that had survived without much harm, other than shellshock. Then he heard Cassey barking out an order. Did that mean Rico was dead...?

Someone Get over here, and help me stop the bleeding, find all the medical supplies there is on this dropship.

"Ma'am, yes, ma'am!" Bauer quickly rummaged around for the medical supplies strewn about during the crash, picking out the ones they would need--bandages, morphine, plasma...you name it, they were probably on the floor. He had some simple surgical tools from his medikit along with the standard fare of first aid materials.

Bauer had never even noticed that Rico was bleeding...maybe it was the excitement of being possibly charred by the bombers that made him overlook the injury. Kneeling over, he examined his superior just as a medic was supposed to do. His evaluation? "Jesus Christ, he's in bad shape. Eardrums are burst, trauma to the chest and head..." Pulling out his flashlight, he opened Rico's eyes and illuminated them. "Pupils aren't dilating. Breathing...is a bit shallow, but normal...Heart rate...Damn it's still strong...He's not in shock. Ma'am, we need to medevac him ASAP. I can't perform CPR because I think his sternum is fractured."

When the bombing was over, the bombers stayed overhead to watch out for them while evac arrvied. (they still have a few mini-guns.) As they were flying around in a circle, they saw the mad-dash to the dropship.
Dropship, we are gonna cover you until e-vac arrives. We can stay over head for another 15 minutes. We have relayed Cassy's message to Delta Base, 3 dropships with Jordans Rough Necks will be arriving with them. They should arrive in less then 5 min.(I found a way to get him back in this RP!) Said the pilot of bomber 1.

OOC: Remember in the movie when Rico was thought to be dead? But they were repairing his leg, or something. I think that's what i might do here, so i get Jordan back into this RP.

"Five minutes?!" Bauer had the sudden inclination to start opening fire on those goddamn bombers. "In five minutes, man we are toast!"

Anybody got some lead to sp--" Suddenly, there was a rumble as a plasma bug bore its way out of from underneat the dropship, tossing it over its side. Bauer was thrown like a ragdoll to his back, his head making contact with a blunt piece of the ship jutting from the seats.

Losing consciousness, the dark swallowed him...

OOC: Yes, but members of my race are there. Seeing as they are watching you anxiously, their skin colour is changing just so you can see them (they are out of our light spectrum). Could someone please noticed that my species is present (perhaps looking at them through scanning equipment).

IC: Both figures started to shimmer more visibly than before, watching this seemingly intelligent Species fend off their foes. The blades attached to their arms snaped out, and they turned, awaiting any bug follish enough to attack them.

Wallace was still in the dropship as it was fliiped over. He was thrown against the walls, floor and roof quuite forcefully, winding him and fracturing his arm. After the boat crashed for the second time that day, it came to rest on its side. Wallace lay across from the door, looking out. All he saw was bug belly. Very BIG bug belly. He had no idea what kind of recoil these thing had when they fired. And if any of the roughnecks tried firing off a nuke..... Suffice to say, he was screwed either way.

One of the figures saw the Plasma Bugs, and ran towards it, making an un-godly kind of remixed wookie roar. It jumped onto it, hacked and slashed at the belly full of Plasma, and then saw Wallace, lying inside the dropship. Not having alot of time, it jumped down, and grabbed Wallace, then it ran with Wallace in his arms away from the Plasma Bug. It's belly splaid open, Plasma sepped out, and then...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!

The explosion wasn't huge, but it wasn't small either. Many bugs had been vapourised, and probably a few Humans. The figure looked over the battlefield, and saw it's Partner lying on the floor, some of her chest missing. The figure crouched down to...her, and did something that Wallace couldn't see. Wallace was then dropped. About Two Mintues later, the figure was back, covered in Green Bug juice, so it was visable to Wallace. It picked him up again, and then ran out of the battlefield at his astounding speed.

About an hour later, they were in a cavern. Wallace was propped on the wall, and the figure was sitting on a rock, watching Wallace carefully, both with it's instruments, and his eyes. It then stood up, and then said "Greetings!", which was the equivelent of an ear-splitting screech to Wallace...

Wallace had been scared shitless when the thing picked him up and carried him away at the impossible speed. The explosion behind them jolted Wallace into full consciousness. For at least 5 minutes, Wallace was carried along till the "thing" set him down. It did something to another thing like itself and picked him up again. After depositing him in a cave, the thing screeched at him. Screeched. It worsened Wallace's already pounding headache, and he slumped to hold his head in his hands. He only shook his head, hoping it would understand that he couldn't understand it.

Seeing that the...Hadras-Orus (Homo-Sapien in our language) was agitated by speaking to it, the Figure stopped. It walked over to Wallace, and then, lifted it's arm to his face, blades next to his face. With that, the figure withdrew the Blades, and sat down beside Wallace. It then pulled a flat object off it's belt, and wrote something on it. It showed this to Wallace, just to show him what to do. It hovered a type of spine over the object, making a type of shape appear. It re-did it, but did it very slowly, and Wallace could see that the Spine somehow made the object form a line where ever it went. Then, when it had done the shape again, it turned the spine so the point was facing it, and it quickly wiped the spine over the object, 'wiping' it clean. It then handed the Spine and the Object to Wallace, and hoped that the Hadras-Orus understood what it was doing.
