(H.L.N.) ~ ~ ~Breaking News: Parliament Votes Yes to Protectorate Status~ ~ ~
As first reported on last month by H.L.News, the Allied States of The Irish Isle has offered a protectorate status to His Lord. The deal proposed last month by Ambassador Devin O’Reilly of The Irish Isle included a protectorate status to His Lord as well as a military presence in the country to ‘deter’ rebel uprisings which have plagued the country since the civil war nearly 20 years ago.
The deal, as proposed by Ambassador Devin O’Reilly promised that the current government of His Lord would continue to control national matters, as long as their decisions were seen as fit by The Irish Isle government. Also, King William VI would be appointed governor of His Lord as well as a seat in the senate of The Irish Isle if His Lord became a protectorate of The Irish Isle.
When the deal was first proposed parliament was strongly against it but, after more than a month of debates as well as recent rebel attacks on several country villages a split was created in parliament on whether such a merger would be beneficial for His Lord. After 23 hours of debate and voting yesterday, parliament, in a vote of 330 to 294 chose in favor of the merger.
At precisely 3:46 pm (His Lord Time) the country formally known as The Incorporated States of His Lord officially fell under control of the government of The Allied States of The Irish Isle which soon after changed the countries official name from The Incorporated States of His Lord to The Protectorate of His Lord. More on the terms of the merger to come as information becomes available
In financial news, after the announcement of the merger between His Lord and The Irish Isle, His Lord’s stock market jumped 300 points closing at 7889.
