Many events have transpired in the last 24 hours in Cardassia Minor.
First, at 8:50 yesterday, four members of the Detapa Council (congress) were assassinated including the majority leader Legate Argon. It was discovered that the people responsible were the Obsidian Order, the secret police. In response the Central Command autherized the arrests of suppected Obsidian Order members. They didnt stop there. Around 15:57, the flagship of the Cardassian Fleet was destroyed by a series of explosions. The Obsidian Order claimed that one of there operatives sabotaged the reactor causing the ship to blow up. The explosion damged the docking bay along with two other vessels. 369 Cardassians survived.
This means only one thing, war, a CIVIL WAR. The Obsidisn order has a significant army, plus loyalist in the Detapa Council. They have already started to shell the capitol. This is an INTERNAL AFFAIR. Outside help is not recommended because of the risk of more blood shed. The Central Command will do its best to stop this.

Two infantry divisions and 4000 tennoth tanks are being mobilized to quash this rebellion and maintain peace in the region.
