Operation Ost; Jingzhou advances into Central China

21-04-2004, 02:45
OOC: After no one responded after I took Turkestan (western China not including Tibet, I decided to just keep moving east until I get noticed. I am RP'ing in the NS world where the area seems to be abadoned as the great powers of the east face a Cold War or in the case of Korea slaughter.

IC

The Kaiser sat, brooding in a bunker outside the city (if it could be called that) of Urumqi, temporary capital of the Jing Empire, or Osterreich of Jing as it was known to the Germans who populated it. The order had just been given to commander of Asien Korps X. The Kaiser's armies would advance into Central China. At any moment now the citizens of Xining would get a happy surprise.

Xining, 3:00 A.M., West Central China

Hans, now commander of Asien Korps X, made sure everything was in complete order the night and hours leading up to the launching of Operation Ost. Leopard 2Es crept as only armor can to the boundaries of Xining in the middle of the night. Then came a terrifying, yet awe-inspiring wall of fire, advancing slowly before hurtling into the dreaming citizens of Xining. Shells crashed into bases as the Ost Luftwaffe's L-88 [Jing version of the Alpha-Jet, same stats] planes screamed into action, surgically removing any cancerous military bases. Xining was not the only target. A smaller assault by 1/2 of Korps XI performed the same action on the city of Zhangye, while the marauding second half raided into smaller towns and cities, driving all before them.

Ein Volk! Ein Osterreich! Ein Kaiser! was a cry that struck fear into the hearts of the Chinese citizens, though they knew not what it meant. The combined arms tactics were a wonderful 21st-century Blitzkrieg.

Despite the impending success of the first phase of Operation Ost, the Kaiser was sick with worry. Would the major powers act? Would they remain silent as Central China was lost to the Osterreich? His rational side told him they would not. Therefore he put Korps II, IV, and VI into the operation. They must be prepared for any problems.

While our nation is currently engaged elsewhere be assured that your actions will not go unoticed.

The Koiian dictator has spoken and has told his head of millitary to aid the Jingzhou in their attack on China.
OOC: this isn't optional I am invading and if you attack me I will attack you.
IC

The Head of millitary had issued the order for the Eagle fighter division as well as the Eagle bomber division should take part in Operation Burning Rice (our operation) not only this but the Sea Turtle carrier squad will provide more air support from the South China Sea. The Flying Squirrel airborne division will be our ground troops.

*in the plane of the Squirrel airborne division red regiment, Solar group*
The captain said " Ok, Just a few more minutes." A few minutes that seemed like days later the back of the plane opened up and the captain said "GO GO GO GO" The job of the Solar group was to make landing areas for the helicopters that were coming.
Within an hour of touch down the Solar group was blowing away the rice making a good spot to land as well as temporary living quarters.
The captain looked at his GPS and then radiod their posistion (40 miles soth of Luzhou) to HQ for them to give to the Helicopter pilots.
21-04-2004, 03:46
The triumphant Korps X made its entry into Xining at the same time Korps XI entered Zhangye. The Kaiser was flown to Anxi so as to better supervise the attacks.

The first phase was 2/3 complete, with the final act being the attack on Yinchuan. The Osterreich would not advance into any separatist areas of China, be it Tibet or Inner Mongolia. Yinchuan was on the edge of the latter, and would complete the conquest of the Chinese area west of the Yellow River. With the attack on Xining, the Osterreich had a clear outlet into the Huang He, and it had already begun the closing down of trade in the Yellow. After the attack on Yinchuan, the area between the Wei River to the south and Yellow to the north would be taken, and then a grand move eastwards towards Beijing would follow.

Korps X, IV, and II have begun moving towards Yinchuan, while Korps VI and XI will stay at Xining and prepare a river crossing en masse.

OOC: if you are attacking military bases I would assume that they would fire back.

A blitzkreig only works against lower tech forces. If you attack high tech forces it doesn't work so well.
21-04-2004, 04:17
I'm RPing in the NS world, where no one owns Central China, so there really shouldnt a highly centralized, powerful, high-tech nation there that could easily beat off a concentrated blitzkrieg attack.

no one owns Central ChinaOOC: I own all of it. (Due to my superior nation managing skills (or maybe not), a nation (because it was a secret deal, I hesitate to say who) gave me secret IC control over his China. I took total control when the nation ceased to exist.)

OOC: Not according to Taiwan, Sino, Xiaguo, and maybe a few other nations. China was split up in this universe, and due to the convenience with which I can attack Central China I pick this one :)
Besides, Chellis says you already have a massive empire down south.

Yinchuan

Members of the three korps attacking Yinchuan begun to get strung out in their impetuous, but eventually it would fall to the same attack that ensured the occupation of Xining and Zhangye.

Besides, Chellis says you already have a massive empire down south.Along with China. Actually, I currently figure I don't get China until at least a decade in the future. Perhaps your current actions play a roll in the fall of the nation? Because of the secret nature of my control, I wouldn't have been able to do much to stop you.
21-04-2004, 04:49
OOC: Heh, yes, it would be alot easier to conquer Central China when the three major powers are all uneasily in a Cold War-esque conflict.

Attack on Lanzhou

In the early morning the Reichstag got the news: The Asien Korps X had crossed the river. Bombardment of Lanzhou had been going on for days. Eventually, Asien Korps X split up and landed on opposite flanks of the river, before coming together in a huge encirclement movement. Lanzhou went the way of Urumqi, Anxi, Xining, and others before long.

The Kaiser was overjoyed at the lack of opposition attending his invasion of the Chinese heartland. Already his Osterreich streteched over an area as large as the Middle East, and growing quickly.

The Asien Korps II, IV, and X split up and begin moving towards the targets of Baotou, Yulin, and Qingyang. They were on the doorstep of Beijing.

I have preached to my citizens for a long time that war is not the answer. They have voted to go to war before but i was always against it. I am asking that you let me send a team of reporters in to be under your command and to show my fellow citizens the affects of war. I am not condeming your attack. I am a pacifist and i wish to show my people my ways. Would you mind if they reported and show my citizens what war really is? I would send with them some armed troops as guards of my reporters and yours if they happened to be there. I know armed guards make me sound hipocritical but just because i am a pacifist doesn't mean i will not defend my people. War is sometimes neccesary.

OOC: You cant be serious! You expect me to allow you to send reporters to show just how bad my invasion really is?! Nope, isnt gonna happen.
21-04-2004, 05:19
Winefred flew his L-88 over Qingyang, luxuriosly beating down on the minimal defenses. He spotted the panzer divisions breaking through the weak defence offered, and marveled at the complacence met at the occupation of the very heartland of what was once one of the most powerful nations of the world.

On the ground, Hans took a jet to the various capitulating cities of Qingyang, Baotou, and then Yulin.

The next target?
Beijing.

OOC: O.K... let me get this straight... you want to conquer China... but you don't want to fight anyone for it? Kinda defeats the purpose of the forum IMHO but whatever...

Also, you have stated in the Drapol thread that you are advancing east, so you can't claim you are in a different dimension then because the people who also claim to occupy those lands are also fighting against Drapol. You can't have it both ways... either you are in our dimension or not.

This is clearly a mistake caused by inexperience so...

1) Settle down and stop claiming to be advancing until ownership of the land is decided and the owner steps forward to fight you. Also, since you have claimed that you are advancing on Beijing, where I am almost positive that there is an ally of mine who is much larger than you. You would have to stop regardless.

2) Decide that you are in a different dimension entirely, ignore the Drapol war and do not become involved at all, and we decide that we are in a different dimension than you.
Granzi
21-04-2004, 17:11
Wait, let me get this straight, you are taking over ALL of China in this... alternate universe? Seems like you don't want any resistance at all, just taking over land. Also, it seems like details are lacking. Sure blitzkrieg is rapid deployment, but there must be some more resistance, especially since you mentioned "cancerous military bases." You went straight from Lanzhou to Baotou with no RPing of crossing over the Yellow River or encountering any of the other NUMEROUS cities in Northern China.

With this pace you're set to take all of China in a few more days. :P If you try this, everyone will know you are Godmodding. There are inherent problems in logistics when taking such a large country. You will have to factor in supplies, physical barriers, not to mention the thousands of miles you have to cross. In theory an army could live off the land, however, then speed will slow down until it will no longer be called a blitzkrieg. Add in leaving garrisons behind and you'd need an enormous war machine to occupy a nation of over a billion. Since you are in Central Asia, I doubt you can field such an army and then maintain it.
22-04-2004, 00:24
OOC: No, Im not taking all of China. Sino, Taiwan, Xiaguo, are all alot bigger than me and own parts of China. I'm TRYING to take the land that they have not. Feasibly, I cannot continue such a fast pace. Remember, most of the areas I have occupied were very sparsely populated.
Also, if you remember, I had two different attacks, which explains how Baotou and Qingyang were occupied at practically the same time.

OOC2: Yeah it is pretty much useless to conquer territory without recognizing anyone in it. However, NO ONE has stepped up to claim the territory being attacked.
Hudecia
22-04-2004, 00:31
OOC: You call Beijing sparsely populated?

Several of the nations I've had to contact through telegrams because the forum boards are giving us trouble. Often times you'll have to wait days to get any response.. although if you get it at the right time you can get responses in hours.

One of the wars I fought with this nation involved waiting days at a time for the other side to respond. Some people have tests, internet problems, or whatever, so patience is always required.
22-04-2004, 00:55
Which nation is it?

I havent taken Beijing yet, nor even advanced across the second part of the Yellow River towards it. East Turkestan and the part of China I occupied are pretty sparsely populated. The Panzers are holding steady at Baotou and Qingyang, ready to strike at either Xi'an, Beijing, or both.

OOC: Well, aside from the concerns of the speed of attack, I don't really know how to respond to this. The thing I could say is that since it seems like that there are tens of Chinas here (including me), there might as well some kind of a Jingzhou China. Surely, if I claim that I have the Central part others may argue against me, and since I would have to start after the forces has completely overran one or two major Military regions (in which if you actually invade me, it'll take a lot of more effort to get there than this) and I have some business to do with my main nation and RL matters, I'll be out of this for now.

ANd i do have troops in Xiaguo, because i asked him if i could put forces there.

And Jingzhou, you really should wait for someone to play China; its hard to simply steamroll across the western border; the place is fortified as hell, adn there would be numerous troops operating as guerillas even if your initial blitzkrieg did succeed.

In light of the recent wars in Asia, the Islandian military has been put on a war footing. Hundreds of tanks and airplanes are sent as fast as possible to Xiaguo, in northern Manchuria, as are three independent missile defence brigades.

Total Islandian forces in Xiaguo number 60,000; these forces have been built up over two weeks (NS time) and are below the 500,000 troop limit set by Xiaguo. Units include:

3 Armored Brigades (9,000)
2 Artillery Brigades (6,000)
Mech. INfantry division (15,000 men)
AIrborne (12,000)
Special Operations Forces and support wings (3,000)
Independent Artillery Brigades (6,000)
5 fighter brigades (9000)

The Reichswehr halts.

The Blitzkrieg was at the end of its manageable supply lines, and nothing too substantial had materialized to throw them off their newly acquired territory. The halted at the positions of Baotou, Yuling, Qingyang, and the shore of the Yellow River which these cities faced. Numerous river forts began to be constructed, and the Asien Korps began digging in. The Osterreich [Eastern Empire] maintained a rapid response force to target any insurgencies of invasions, and began instituting a police presence in all major urban and rural areas. The Kaiser's official statement was that the Reichswehr would halt. The borders of the Osterreich could be determined by the cities nearest them but out of reach: Linfen, Zhangjiakou, Hanzhong, Kaifeng. In the west the Reich ended at the Kunlun mountains. Now began a period of consolidation.

Befuddling Jingzhou's attempts to set up a static air defense, teams of commandoes coordinate air strikes on positions and EMP missiles are launched at enemy positions. Since their positions are unpopulated anyway, volley after volley of EMPs find their way to the target areas, although it remains to be seen how much damage they inflict.

H9 bombers, armed with standoff missiles, begin preliminary probing strikes. MLRS crews begin a steady barrage of rockets on lists and coordinates of targets provided by infiltrators in the area and sat-int.

More special forces troops are dropped into enemy held areas, to find the undoubtedly numerous people who have been caught behind the advance and are more than willing to resist. They will be resupplied by night drops from MC130s and MY8 aircraft.

Only precision guided munitions are launched at targets in the cities...

As Major Qu's feet rushed towards the ground, he bent his knees and tucked, rolling as soon as he hit the grassy knolls as he had been taught so long ago in jump school, back in the tropical climate of Islandia.

He quickly got to his feet as soon as he stopped rolling, and packed in his chute as fast as he could. All around him, men and women did the same, and in a minute, they were ready to go. first, however, they 'sterilized' the site, cleaning up after themselves and making sure no one left anything anywhere.

Then they formed into a straight line and spread out, marching over the night terrain and to a pre-determined rendez-vous point. Qu remembered the countryside well from his last visit, during the war with Mallberta.

Puchao Base, PRC China

Senior Colonel Yamazaki Natsuko squinted through the sighting device. She tapped the driver on the shoulder and pointed straight. He nodded, and floored the acceleration pedal, throwing all of them back in their seats.

"Swerve!" she shouted. He swerved immediately, and Yamazaki turned the turret to track the target-
and fired, hitting it dead on.

"These new systems work like a charm," her deputy commander reported over the intercom. "I think I'm in love."

"Save your chatter, Major," she admonished him. "I thought that it was Vice Premier Park you were in love with."

"Every Islandian man is," he replied jokingly. "Shall we RTB?"

"Certainly," she replied.

The armored company, which had been practicing firing manuevers and reactions, rumbled back to the compound, leaving the flattened area outside a mess with charred targets everywhere.

First General Utani Shirai watched as his men disembarked off the transport. He had been to his father's native Japan only twice, and to his mother's traditional home in Thailand, once. Hence, he found the climate in Okinawa exceedingly agreeable with his senses, which had grown accustomed to a lifetime of tropical air and humidity.

"Fine weather, eh?" Major General Yumawa Risako asked. A tall, beautiful woman, she was dressed in a green camouflage jumpsuit, standard issue for all tank crews, with only a silver flash on her shoulder and a name tag that read "Yumawa" in Islandian to denote her differences from the rest of them. She was as he remembered, beautiful, quiet..the only real signs she gave that she was thinking was the continued circling of her eyes.

He had found that to be interesting, and although most other men hated it, he had found the ever-lingering scent of tank fuel that hung around her, immensely exciting, especially when they had made love in the strange, foggy room in a hotel, during a break from the first war that either of them saw. She was thirty eight now, but if anything, she had only gotten more beautiful, or at least he felt that way.

"Yes comrade," Shirai replied. He was one of the few Islandians who still used 'comrade' as a form of address, even if East Islandia had never fully embraced communism, only bits and pieces of it. "It is good to see you again."

"And you, Shirai," she replied.

"Last time I saw you was in Chimeini Atoll, fighting for our lives against those bastards," he said, face hardening. He longed to embrace her, but the curious looks nearby troopers were giving them stopped him from doing anything but chatting with her casually. "And now you command an armored division."

"I remember," she replied softly. She turned to watch her troops, members of the Eighth Guards ARmored Division, mingling and speaking with the members of the elite 6th Guards Jump Brigade, which Shirai commanded. "I also remember how you left me like that."

SHirai sighed. "I'm sorry, Risaako, but-"

"But nothing," she answered. Her voice now was stony, and her eyes were distant. She slipped down her sunglasses over her eyes before continuing to speak. "You just left me, and the only other way I had to talk to you these past years was by phone and mail. You didnt visit once. Not even once."

"I'm sorry," he repeated. What was there to say? "I havent been with anyone else since then."

She looked at him strangely, perhaps in a new kind of light? "That wasnt too smart," she replied. "But, that does sound like the Shirai i know."

"And you?" he asked, venturing the question.

"None could compare to you," she replied. "Thats why I never married."

"You'll be a spinster, Risaako," Shirai said, laughing.

"At this age?" she shot back, but there was no menace in her voice. "I'm young enough to be Miss Islandia."

"Well, the young part I dont know about," he replied. "But you certainly are beautiful enough to be."

She looked at him once again. "You bastard," she said softly.

"I know," he replied, flashing his trademark grin. "I know."

"5 o'clock tonight, at Card's," she said to him, so quietly that he would have almost missed it. "We'll see how well you'll fare with a lady's emotions."

They both paused for a minute. WHen SHirai spoke, he was serious.

"what do you think will happen this time?" he asked her.

"Who knows?" she replied, shrugging.

"Get me the green line," Foreign Minister Yu ordered. Her aides nodded, and left.

In her late twenties, Yu Meijin was quite young (too young, some whispered) to take such a high position in the government. She was also chided by the establishment for being unorthodox, wiht her black miniskirts and strange style of dress that seemed to take in quite a few ambassadors and foreign representatives.

When the line to Granzi was dialed, she picked up the phone.

Staffers ran the hell out of his way, and did their best to turn away from him. Doubtless Qiao was angry at Yu for missing her appointment with him at three o clock, in order to coordinate on the issue of the upcoming China war and consolidate their allies.

He paused, panting. His physical fitness was not where he wanted it to be, and the blazing heat was not helping.

One of his aides pointed to a closed door, and Qiao almost kicked it open before the man opened it with a key.

Shirai sat at the table at Card's, an expensive restaurant just outside the base. Although it was so close, the fact that the place cost so damned much deterred many an enlisted man from entering, and those who did come usually were officers.

Risaako showed up, resplendent in a beautiful evening dress made of blue reflective spidersilk. Although spidersilk was used in various things, including their flakvests, it was also a very elegant, beautiful thing and looked excellent in dresses or suits. The blue spidersilk reflected light at various angles, subtly glinting a glowing metallic blue.

She was wearing little makeup, except for some lipstick and eyeliner. Otherwise, her pristine face radiated health, and she smiled at him.

"Well," Shirai finally managed to say. "Now thats something we dont see every day. the young commander of the Eighth Armored Division in an evening dress."

"That's Eighth Guards Armored DIvision to you, Mister," she said, leaning in close. Shirai's face flushed as he looked down her dress, and he turned his eyes away. "You've seen those before," Risaako continued. "Nothing new."

Shirai laughed uneasily, and kissed her on the lips. "Of course not," he said. "What are you hungry for tonight?"

THe look she gave him convinced him that food wasnt all she was after. Probably his life too, for leaving her the way he did so long ago, but first, first-

First she would take his body...then mayb a little revenge was in order.

Premier Chai splashed the water over her face.

Think.

She shook her head, and supported herself weakly wiht one hand. The events of the past few days were too much, she thought. She had quarreled with her Vice Premier, Park Hyemin, and worse, nearly all her dear friends were off somewhere, not here to give her support when she needed it.

Chai swallowed a pill, and quickly washed it down. They were amphetamines, and the same type that the military gave her as an officer in the Islandian wars, when they had to fight nearly 24 hours straight for one or two days at a time. Those things would eventually lead to a huge, marathon nap, but for now, they were what kept her going. She was afraid that if she were to sit down, she would fall asleep immediately.

And another problem of hers that few knew was the fact that she took depression medicine. Ever since she had returned from the hellish civil war that her country fought years ago, decorated for bravery and with the rank of a Major in a Second Flag (Reserves) rescue unit, she had been plagued by nightmares. They had only gotten worse after her fiancee, an officer in the military, died in the recent Sino-Japanese war.

Now, she was the leader of Islandia, and she knew she had to act as such. Ever since clawing her way up from being an agent in the Independent Committee Against Corruption to leading the nation, she had been depressed, but managed to hide it.

But now, it was coming apart. With news of heavy Islandian casualties from recent wars, the death of her husband, and the alienation of her closest friend, Park Hyemin, she was getting hit hard. Chai took a few more deep breaths, and left the bathroom, shutting the door behind her with a resounding thud that seemd to be so final...

~STARBLAYDIA TODAY - NEWS UPDATE~

*The mature, greying, well-tanned anchorman with the deep, fruity voice and perma-smile looked up at the camera and began his report.*

In world news today, the recent press reports and government rumours that have pointed to the fact that Starblaydia's Pacifica Fleet is moving across the Pacific towards the troubled, war-torn states of China were confirmed today.

Mere moments ago, a statement was made by Carlito Orfosi, the Defence Minister, about the conflict.

*The scene cuts to the Press Room of the Starblaydi Government, A large, well-built man with a large jaw and close-cropped hair reads a prepared statement*

"Ladies and Gentlemen, in response to recent events, the great Lord Protector of Starblaydia has, in conjunction with our friend and ally Granzi, moved to defend the state of China from imperialist attack. We know that the state of Jingzhou has embarked upon a drive for lebensraum, and that drive must be halted.

"To this end, we have sent the Pacifica Fleet to China's eastern coast, to shore up their defences with our highly trained naval aviators. If conflict comes, the naval version of our brand new all-purpose stealth attack fighter, the A14-N Sea Gryphon will be unleashed to defend Beijing.

"Admiral Yanosh Clarke will command this expeditionary fleet, and this will support the main Granzi fleet that is arriving. The Atlantis Fleet is also being put on high alert and recalled to Starblaydia's shores in case it is needed.

"We condemn Jingzhou's actions in the strongest terms, and will only submit to the complete withdrawal of all forces from occupied lands.

"Are there any questions? Yes, Andy..."

*The picture cuts back to the anchorman as the sound fades down*

"We have been given the composition of the Pacfica fleet, which runs as follows..."

Pacifica Fleet
1 Nimitz Class CVN: Repulse
1 Roydia Class Battleship: Hood
1 Helina Class Battlecruiser: Knife
3 Ticonderoga Class Missile Cruisers
5 Arleigh Burke Class AEGIS Destroyers
3 Spruance Class Destroyers
4 Grevant Class Missile Frigates
1 Executor Class Combat Logistics Ship
5 Trafalgar SSNs: Triumphant, Tremendous, Tireless, Targeter, Tracker

"Of course we at Starblaydia Today will keep you fully updated on all events in this action. In other news, today a cute little kitten rescued a good-looking fireman stuck up a tree in a remarkable..."

OOC: Hehe, I dont know why you are all deploying naval forces, I wouldnt touch the Pacific with a 10,000 mile pole. The only navy Jingzhou has to speak of are river ships. Also, I am not advancing any farther for awhile, logistical concerns foremost.

The Kaiser looked up over the skies of Xining, where a dozen Alpha-Jets had caught an incoming Islandian plane trying to supply rebels. "Damn Islandians. More annoying than deadly. We must watch them." He spoke to no one in particular. Many of the Kaiser's friends chastised him for walking alone at times.
As we walked back, he hoped the renewed air support would end the Islandian presence in the new Osterreich.

General Lonitz put into military terms the Kaiser's orders: Constant air missions being flown over conquered territories: in strength. He began flooding more troops into the trouble areas, and tactical strike groups were formed to respond to any reports of trouble from Special Ops groups. Anti-Air installations were set up at an increasingly brisk pace, despite the efforts of doubtlessly Islandian saboteurs to derail them. Lonitz began increasing the military presence as this happened. The Osterreich poured its resources into Fortress China, as the men affectionaly called it. Gigantic minefields were layed on the German side of the Yellow, as artillery emplacements were manned and fortresses built. The SS infiltrated the main cities of the new Osterreich, and began covertly apprehending anti-Jingzhou militants and enemies. The Kaiser was thinking of a new move towards the ancient land of Shu, with its capital of Chengdu. Lonitz had tacitly supported the plan, but not too soon. The Osterreich was stretched for resources.

OOC: Are you going as far south as the border with my nation?
25-04-2004, 21:21
OOC: No, an all-out land war with a significantly larger mainland nation is the exact thing I dont need. The one exception is Xiaguo, who is currently busy fighting Dra-pol in North Korea. I am not going further south then the Yellow River, or possibly Hanzhong. Beijing and the area around it are out of the question, just too many people to control. The attack would come through the eastern Gobi Desert toward Linxi, in order to flank Xiaguo and end that country as a base for Islandian-backed resistance movements.

AIr Forces already in China begin to fly sorties against Jingzhou planes, first beginning with probing attacks, followed by widespread EMP missile sorties to knock out radar, and then finally thrusts by fighters. Air defence installations all across PRC China are put on high alert, and artillery brigades begin bombardment of enemy territory.

Scramjet missiles are launched into areas of construction, and fifteen thousand pound bombs are prepped for launch. Once Wild Weasels can knock out as many AA installations as possible and EI fighters have the upper hand, they will begin full scale bombardment.

In the meantime, 15 thousand pound missiles (believe it or not, yes, these huge things wiht 5 scramjet engines that fly at normal cruise missile speed) are launched at construction sites, air defense sites, and military airfields.

Missiles and artillery are launched in vast airstrikes at military areas. ONly precision munitions are used against targets in urban areas, and no fifteen thousand pound munitions are used against urban targets.

*****
Special forces keep up their raids, and more are inserted in via night flights. The procedure for insertion begins with massive EMP strikes on nearby installations, scramjet missile strikes, and then, SF teams are inserted quickly.

Due to the increased enemy vigilance, several MY8 planes have been downed and their crews killed or captured.

At the same time, we prepare for the worst, deploying troops around the nation and asking Nianacio if we may use their northern borders as a deployment point for air sorties and our own army to make moves against Jingzhou if necessary.

Hundreds of transport aircraft stand by ready with fighter escorts to transport soldiers into Nianacio's northern borders; bombers and fighters and other aircraft themselves prepare to fly into Nianacio for deployment; cargo vessels are now shipping vital supplies; ten fleets are on deployment to the region escorting several oilers and cargo ships shipping armament and other supplies; and many, many, many soldier transport ships are transporting battalions of men.

Planned complete mobilization apart from our ten naval fleets and extensive air forces will be 410,000 armed combat ground forces at the present.

OOC: Personally, I'm using my navy to ship troops here and protect the transports. You can't be too careful.

Secretary of the Navy Barlow scanned over the growing pile of memos on his desk. Damn paper work, he thought. Wish I was still on a ship. Ah, those were the good old days. Freedom, action, excitement. Now, I'm just pulling puppet strings here. A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. "Come in."

His aide enters. "Sir, we have recieved a transmission from Jingzhou. Seems like their imperialist appetite might not be satisfied after all. There are rumors that enemy troops will infiltrate the north, while Xiaguo is occupied. What are your orders?"

"Hmm. Our forces there might not be enough. Contact the Prime Minister and advise him to dispatch some more. Maybe 100,000; I don't know. We need the army for this." stated Barlow.

"Sir, why not send in the airforce as well? Our new contract with Zoogie for the ZaS-27A fighters could provide the air cover we need. Jingzhou has hinted at dispatching large groups of aircraft, we need to combat this as well."

"An excellent suggestion. Just make sure to run it through both commanders."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Within the hour, hundred even thousands, of aircraft have been readied for flight. A single stopover will be made in Taiwan be fiying to various airfields in Shandong and Beijing.

At the same time, the navy is preparing to set sail. Silently, soldiers march aboard for the trip to China.

"Mr Orfosi, Sir, COMPAC-Fleet on line one."

"COMPAC, go" the Secretary of Defence said, instinctively using the military terminology of his younger days.

<Admiral Clarke here,> came the voice, crystal-clear over the satellite linkup, <There's no longer a threat to Beijing, Jingzhou looks like they want to turn north, we haven't even had any engagements over Beijing at all.>

"That's good, Yanosh," Orfosi replied, "but can we still harry their flanks?"

<Only at extended range, sir.>

"We need to land forces and stop them from taking any further ground. Diego, where's the nearest AFB?"

"Its...um..." the Sergeant scanned the large map on the wall, "Petyrson, on the island of Skeggi, North West Pacific."

"Great. Admiral? We shall be sending you some long-range support immediately."

<In the form of what, Sir?> Clarke was always blunt with his replies.

"Our B-2s, F-23Ss, A-14s and some Tankers. Ground forces and Spec Ops shall also be prepared."

<Thankyou, Minister. PACCOM out.>

"This will almost guarantee our Air Superiority, won't it Sergeant?"

The Sergeant could only shrug. If there was anything better than the latest in stealth capabilities then there would be a serious conflict up ahead.

OOC for Jingzhou: The Fleet was to help protect the Eastern shores, which you've turned away from.

OOC for East Islandia: "15 thousand pound missiles (believe it or not, yes, these huge things wiht 5 scramjet engines that fly at normal cruise missile speed)"
That's not actually possible. Scramjets don't kick in until about Mach 1.5, IIRC. Therefore you need another propulsion system to get them super-sonic. And, as normal cruise missiles fly sub-sonicly, you've merely got five very expensive funnels on a 15,000lb paperweight.

The first leg of deployment has begun. A large number of KN-12, C-240, and C-145* aircraft are now systematically engaged in the transport of some twelve thousand troops and supplies into the northern reaches of Nianacio (Bhutan). Military basis will be established there some forty miles from the border with aircraft being transported there as we speak*.

C-71s and An-225s* are now flying in a planned twenty-six thousand troops; with a further twenty-six thousand troops due to be steadily flown before and in the early stages of combat, and thousands more* to be flown in as combat operations commence and continue.

Cargo supply ships are now carrying military equipment in great volumes into Nianacio, systematically shipped up to the Bhutanese area. Certain C-5s* and C-240s have now taken on the role of shipping supplies as well.

Helicopter assault ships, LPDs, LSDs, as well as a large number of troop transport ships are now sailing towards the closest naval port to various points in Nianacio-controlled Nepal and Bhutan and further down for soldiers to be stationed temporarily before moving to their designated posts in the north. These are escorted by naval carrier fleets or individual ships/submarines.*

------

*

[i]34 KN-12 aircraft, 67 C-240 aircraft, and 54 C-145 aircraft are engaged in the procedures to deploy 12,800 soldiers into northern Bhutan.

40 C-71s and 34 An-225s are flying an additional pair of 24,600-numbered soldier groups into the southern areas for temporary stations before being deployed upward as the front line advances.

72 C-5s and 37 C-240s are also engaged in flying in supplies and materials necessary for construction or food.

20 An-225s and 26 Boeing WIG aircraft are flying in to transport tanks and helicopters, or light aircraft/UAVs...or supplies in general if necessary.

125,000 soldiers are scheduled for rapid deployment by sea; a further 160,000 are expected to go soon after; the remaining numbers of deployment personell are to be transported via any means necessary for deployment as battle starts and develops.

Four air force bases have been set up in Northern Bhutan for deployment; with Nianacio air force bases used as logistical stopping points. Not including helicopters or logistical support aircraft, a significant number of ZaS-27, ZaS-42, A-10, Su-34, A-15, F-42, Su-39 and Su-37 aircraft have been deployed to the region and south of there, among other aircraft such as the naval F/A-18E/F; others may be deployed in smaller numbers.

Tanks to be deployed are M-1A3; M-26Um; and Type 98 with slight alterations to allow for ATGMs to be fired from its 140mm turret. Infantry fighting vehicles will comprise of Bradley IFVs and M-12s...light battle tanks (amphibous assault) will be nearly exclusively comprised of M-34s. The LOSAT is to be used, along with other army materials that I have obviously forgotten at the moment.

A crowd had gathered at the Qingdao waterfront. Dozens of workers scurried about the harbor, carrying heavy equipment and materials. For over a week, they had feverishly been renovating the docks in preparation for the Granzian fleet. "Look!" someone shouts. All eyes turn to the ocean, straining for any signs of ships.

Slowly, they emerge over the horizon. Tiny specks, first one, then ten, finally hundreds. Within the hour, individual ships could to made out. The battleship Vigilant is at the vanguard with others stretching out as far as the eye can see. A dull boom, like thunder, sounded as a flash of fire seemed to erupt from the ships. Two more times, the guns signaled as the fleet continued the approach.

Later that day: The fleet has docked. Admiral Escali stepped down the gangway, his aides not far behind. A quiet, elderly man in his 60s, Escali radiated authority wherever he walked. "Are all the vessels safely docked?" he asked.

"Yes sir," one of the aides replied. " Landing craft and transports have been secured. We may begin unloading the armored vehicles and troops once you give the order."

"Excellent, tell the army commander that I have no jurisdiction over him or his men from now on. They are feel to begin operations as they see fit.
Meanwhile, the marines are to secure this city and the surrounding area; patrols are to begin the next day. All naval aircraft are to be on high alert and on the watchout of enemy raids. Sorties will begin tonight."

The Alpha-Jets stayed in a tight formation as they scoured the skies for anything unusual. The last patrol had stated all was clear, but reports said otherwise. Suddenly, the enemy planes appeared, their missiles locking on and firing. Immediately, dozens of SAMs opened up on them, along with thousands of AA troops on the ground. The remaining planes limped along before the constantly-reinforced Jing planes destroyed their remnants.

The concentration of armor, men, and supplies was almost unoticeable under the constant screen of flying planes and jamming radar instruments, but it was indeed there. In a dazzling mini-blitz, the German forces swarmed over the Wei and Yellow Rivers in four different places. The tanks rolled along extremely fast as Alpha-Jets and Tomahawks softened the area up. Finally, the the twin targets came up. Ahead of the Germans lay the ancient cities of Hanzhong and Xi'an. Taking care not to damage the ancient capital, artillery emplacements used mortars and machine gun fire on enemy positions before it resorted to tank barrages. Xi'an fell, a day after Hanzhong. With these acqusitions, the roads to Chengdu and the Central Plains lay open. The Germans began the now-routine policy of entrenchment.

Alarmed at the blitzkreig on Xi'an and Hanzhong, CC (Central Command ordered the immediate repostitioning of troops. The 67th Airborne Division parachuted into a field near Qipan Pass. Heavy equipment was dropped and the work began. Within hours, communications had been established, a forward command post functional, and fortifications were under construction. A race against time was underway, as this pass through the Daba mountains was the only direct way to the the rich Central Plains beyond.

At the same, the 14th Light Armored Brigade entered the nearby city of Guangyuan. Finding the airfield in bad need of repair, soldiers began excavating the earth. The airfield was to be lengthened to be suitable for large tankers and transports. Work continued into the night.

Meanwhile, the remaining forces advanced to the cities of Zhengzhou and Xiangfan. Tyre Class Patrol Cutters have begun patroling the lower stretch of the Yellow River and the Yangtze.

Many miles away, a long line of transports left Boralis Harbor. Headed for the port of Hangzhou, they would arrive by the end of the week. As they were leaving Granzian waters, the whirl of engines was heard above. As the soldiers looked upwards, hundreds of heavy transports flew over, bound for Chengdu and Zhengzhou. It only remained to be seen if there was enough time...

"Targets acquired."

Just outside Mianyang, on the route to Chengdu, they'd overflown their Granzi allies. Now, up head, the Jingzhou forces were digging in. Hundreds of troops and tanks had begun to settle down for the night, as not even supermen could stay awake and work twenty-four hours a day. It was 00.35am, and the flight of 12 B-2 bombers were high and still stealthy, their flight paths having kept them away from Jingzhou lines until now.

Squadron Leader Velasquez looked at his display. The SAM sites and control centres had their radar lighting up the sky like April 5th, Starblaydia's Foundation Day. They would be simple targets, the smart weapons could hit a cigarette packet accurately, never mind a fully-lit-up radar station.

He opened his bomb-bay doors and his computer began warning him in that soft, unhurried female voice:

<You have been detected. Stealth no longer effective.>

"I know, babe," he said.

Opening the bomb-bay doors had made his -2 about as stealthy as a thunder clap, and it only took four seconds for the four bombs to release and the doors to close again. Now he was just another shadow, turning away from the enemy positions. His flight followed his lead, turning and burning, skimming the edge of the Jingzhou positions as their smart bombs chose perfect ballistic trajectories to their targets, joining the virtual dots to the ground.

OOC: I'm gonna follow this up with stealthy ground-attack aircraft if this works, if it doesn't, they'll pull away.

Work on the airfields had been complete. That day, around 200 C-17 Globemaster IIIs landed at Guanyuan airbase. Long lines of soldiers marched off, full battle gear on, and stepped into formation. At the other side of the hundred Chamberlain battle tanks had gathered. Another plane landed, its runway, several cargo bays opened, CV90 infantry fighting vehicles and RNI-A27s rolled off. Crewmen climbed aboard the armored vehicles and readied, they rumbled to life. All infantry climbed onto any available space and the long procession drove toward the front.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The trenches were dug, and men piled sandbags on the edge. As General Malloy watched, small "pockets" of SAM launchers opened up, their radar scanning the sky. Suddenly, a low rumble was heard beyond the bend in the pass. The soldiers gripped their rifles nervously as everyone stopped to listen. A cloud of dust was now visible as the rumbling grew louder. As the first tank rounded the bend, a sign of relief sounded. "General, they're our own men!"

Magistrate artillery were pushed into batteries while the XM 142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HMARS) was placed into position. The 3rd Armored Division, the 24th Mechanized Division, as well as the 11th Light Armored Division moved in to reinforce the line. Construction on Camp Jonias was nearly finished, as the night watch began their shift.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that same night:

"Bravo leader, Operation Lunar Strike is give the go-ahead. Get ready for take off. Clear the runway and preform LM checks."

Hundreds of B-2 Bombers and F-117 Nighthawks taxied down the runway and lifted into the night sky. Escorting them were ZaS-27A "Firebird" stealth fighters from several divisions. Once in the air, the group split. Half flew northeast to attack Jingzhou army units at Hanzhong and Xi'an, the other half headed the other way toward Lanzhou. At cruising level they glided sliently overhead.

Meanwhile, over Guangyuan, each ‘Pallas’ Cruise Missile Platform selected SAM and military targets. "Targets locked on. Launch in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... With a roar, a hundred ALCMs lifted off and were gone.

Radio silence was strictly enforced during the flight. Looking down, the pilots could see the soft glimmer of lights. A sudden flash and then an explosion lit up the sky. Knowing the SAM batteries were attacked by cruise missiles, the next phase was begun. Moving quickly, they formed into attack formation. One by one, squadrons of 12 bombers each dipped slightly and released their cargo. Thousands of smart bombs, laser-guided bombs, and incendiaries rained down on their targets.

Gunfire erupted as missiles streaked upwards. The Firebirds let go with all their weapons as evasive manuvers kick in. Several fighters and bombers exploded in fireballs. "There go the cookies!' comes over the radio. Their bombing run finished, all aircraft turn and head home.

Total casualties (for both runs):
21 Firebirds
14 B-s Bombers
10 F-117 Nighthawks

OOC: Ah, deployment. For the sake of roleplay, can we assume that soon after this post I'll have finished my deployment? Jingzhou, how many forces do you have in your holdings, and how spread out are they?

IC:

36,000 soldiers were now stationed at the Nianacio Bhutan's northern edge. With the Himalayas visible in the horizon behind, and Tibet visible in the land in front, deployment to the area was difficult. However, the forces were stationed along the border, where the Brahmaputra river entered into China, and were plentifully supplied and were able to get ships up and down the river for supplies.

While a good deal of Eurofighters were flying the patrols, ZaS-27A aircraft were now taking off from the airfields and flying stealthy air dominance missions in secrecy.

F-16s were stationed there as well in larger numbers; squadrons of highly improved JF-16C and JF-16D aircraft were stationed there for possible strike missions. Air superiority was the main focus so far, however.

--

Meanwhile, six B-2 aircraft took off from Chinese Army, each deployed to simultaneously strike areas of military priority in Jingzhou-controlled China. Four were armed with a precision load of 20 GBU-32 JDAMs, 8 AGM-154 JSOWs, and 8 AGM-137 TSSAMs, and two were armed with the conventional load of 80 Mk 82, 16 Mk 84, 36 CBU-87, 36 CBU-89, 36 CBU-97.

The two gravity bomb-equipped B-2C Spirits strategically bombed locations in the immediate region above the Bhutan forces, in areas such as military checkpoints and bases along the Salween river, and in Tibet.

The other four were deployed to attack strategic locations - such as military HQs, C&Cs, important supply lines, and a specific city - two were dispatched to specifically bomb military holdings in Xi'an.

After the extensive bombing strikes (conducted at 60,000 feet or close to it, thanks to increased structural stability in our own B-2 upgrade), four B-2s returned to base in Bhutan, and two landed in Xiaguo-owned Beijing.

---

After these strikes ended, a fleet of twenty-five AC-240 cruise missile platforms launched a surgical cruise missile strike, engaging hundreds of particular targets and military installations, with each aircraft carrying a load of eighteen cruise missiles. Many of these were directed, again, at Xi'an. Another fleet of AC-240s will standby for more strikes as our aircraft maintain a fierce patrol over Bhutan.

---

With two fleets deployed in the Bay of Bengal, and three more in the Gulf of Tonkin, with more fleets due to each area, there is rumour that as many as four fleets may be diverted into the Gulf of Chihli, only a short distance from the cities Tianjin and Beijing.

The High Command knew that it wouldnt be long before Allied ground troops got into range. Xi'an was highly defensible, but Hanzhong was fairly open to attack. Jingzhou, the ZaS-27 is a stealth aircraft, and flying at least above 30,000 feet (eliminating AAA, unless you have AAA that shoots at 30,000 feet) and SAMs would not be able to lock on to it. I'm playing it safe for now, although my Eurofighters would be in more of a predicament; and when i send in F-16s and A-10s for strikes, your SAMs and AAAs will be a royal pain in the neck.

First day of air combat; losses:

4 Eurofighters

(am assuming air to air engagement was fairly light)

--

With the stealth ZaS-27 still flying air cover, Eurofighters and JF-16s now geared up for SEAD. An unacceptable four Eurofighters were lost to SAMs the day before, and the SAM threat had to be flat out eliminated. There would likely be less of an air threat given the ZaS-27 aircraft flying cover, but their mission was still a dangerous one. SAM and AAA can hurt really badly.

Two squadrons of 4 Eurofighters each took off, as well as six squadrons of two F-16s, with the job of eliminating SAM threats and to a certain extent AAA threats in the area.

Meanwhile, forces scanned for mines in the land ahead of them. Please respond to the large amounts of precision and gravity bombs/standoff weapons deployed from B-2s at you in the previous post, and the 450 ALCMs fired (you'd obviously shoot down some cruise missiles).

With them followed the newly formed 100th Army division, all of them Chinese. The cargo bays opened, revealing hundred upon hundred of crates put on top of another. The forklifts went to work, bringiing out the crates and placing them in a semicircle around the the field.

When they were opened, neatly stacked bundles of AK-102 rifles glinted in the sun. Another was broken into, revealing semi-automatic machine guns. General Sung Minlee, Islandian Pacific Forces commander, has asked allies for a temporary, one day bombing halt for Islandian infiltrators already in the city to wreak havoc and for Islandian spearhead troops, already near the city walls, to begin their assault.

Specialist Zhu tugged at his harness and sighed as it loosened. The troops of his unit, the 1st Urban Combat Brigade, moved quietly through the rubble of Xi'an, their gray digital urban fatigues shielding them from harm. Woven into the fatigues were also small, thin disruptive threads that absorbed light, thus further breaking up their outline.

The men moved quietly, and took up positions behind a small pile of rubble of what used to be a fortified position. Command had asked its allies to halt its strikes for now, as troops on the ground began to attack various objectives and as tanks began their sally into the city.

A whistle was heard, and the men fired, moving quickly and quietly through the dark night, seeking positions. EMPs began to detonate, and the men knew that their radios, goggles, and tac-sets were useless.

The Osterreich made its first retreat since its original aggressive attack. Jing forces were pulled back from Xi'an and Hanzhong, but artillery positions and anti-aircraft guns held tight the Wei River. In order to counter-act the EMPs (in the worst situation), a truck messenging service is set up between every fort and command post along the Wei and Yellow River. Intensive mine fields are set up, along with barbwire. In other words, a big effort is made to 'de-electrify' the Jingzhou defences. Most of the aircraft continues fights with the Allied coalition, assisted by AA guns on the ground.

OOC: But anyway, what kind of camo is everyone using? I'll answer even though I haven't deployed, yet. The basic Nianaciana camouflage pattern is a tiger stripe pattern to break up the distinctive straight shapes of a person and to boost morale, with pseudo-random pixellation to degrade the image produced by night vision equipment. To further improve night vision camouflage, the green pigments have EM reflection spectras that closely match natural greens. The colors were chosen by a computer using many pictures of the terrain the soldiers would fight in (so the colors will represent Nianaciana forest), and are overall quite light, so the camouflage will work well in open country in addition to the jungle. Lighter areas break up the human shape in the woodland by flattening out undershadow.
Anyway, you are telling me there is no way to block EMPs at all? There are ways, but to protect electronics from a nearby EMP is very expensive.

The missiles are frantically shot at, but more many of the Jingzhou forces it is of new use. They slam into various military installations, knocking out many a system and killing many a German.

In response, Jingzhou pulls itself together and unleashes an almost direct duplicate of the Taiwanese assault. Tomahawks are launched at every East Islandian, Xiaguo, or Taiwanese assault groups.

170mm shells pound the city of Xi'an from across the Wei River.

Assault groups in the Pacific fire up EMP anti missile projectiles, knockign out quite a few of the missiles. HOwever, damage is incurred to five assault ships, three catamaran cruisers.

In retaliation, J37s secure air superiority by hunting down as many ALpha jets as they can and either forcing them to land or shooting them down.

Special forces infiltrate enemy positions, doing their utmost to destroy artillery positions.

The First Storm Division begins fording the Wei River, as increased airstrikes and artillery strikes by Islandian forces cover their movements. Smokescreens are also set, wiht a special blanket feature that can obscure a large area from thermal, visual, and satellite imaging.

Smokescreens are also dropped in Islandian positions, to conceal the activity going on there.....

EMPs are fired at Jingzhou positions as the First Storm Division and Spearhead divisions cross the Wei River, near where it connects to the Huang He.

Swift river craft cross into enemy territory on lightning raids.

OOC: Wanna try that again? This is the most heavily fortified part of Jingzhou. As far as I am concerned there is a wall of humanity along the entire northern bank of the Wei, manning hundreds of thousands of artillery and in hundreds of tanks supported by thousands of planes and thousands of SAMs. A few planes, no matter if they are 10x better than my Alpha-Jets, will not penetrate my massive missile shield, let alone the swarms of AJs in the air. If anything even comes into sight along the river it is going to be pounded by hundreds upon hundreds of shells and missiles. You are going to need alot more firepower.

Ok questions:

You're under constant bombardment and EMP strikes. Wanna try that again doesnt work, cause I probably have about half your infrastructure knocked out right now. And mass wall of humanity? Your population doesnt even breach 500 million. How many troops, max, could you have on the Wei River? You're being hit from all sides, and you dont acknowledge anything. Even if your electronics werent dead for hours from the EMPs (and ours would be too), you wouldnt have a massive missile shield on your territory. THere is just no way. The Wei River is too big to reinforce, and too big to completely fortify.

I dont have a few planes. You're staring at close to 2,000 fighter jets from six fighter divisions, almost a quarter of my standing strength, combined with probably a same amount from other forces. My SEAD planes are taking huge shits on your fortififcations with 15 thousand pound bombs, and even if a good number of them are shot down, they are still quite effective with them.

And factor in constant airstrikes, close to 2,500 special forces and even more numerous Chinese partisans (caught up in the Jingzhou advance and now trapped in enemy lines), river boats, missiles, and 15 thousand pound bombs, and you have a problem.

Besides, you only conquered this part of China scarcely a week (in real life) ago. In NS time, that couldnt have been more than two or three weeks max, not enough time to transport the scale of artillery you're talking here.

OOC: There could still be a wall of humanity. Just a significantly less protected wall of humanity. Anyways, as for the air, I would accept that eventually the Alpha-Jets are going to be destroyed. But I have millions of soldiers with AA guns pointing at the sky. I'm sure they would hit something.
Nevermind it, Im going to withdraw anyways. To significantly increase my chances of a succesful (ie Jingzhou not destroyed) defence.

All across the Wei River, the Jing Army beats a hasty retreat, leaving thousands dead in the abadoned fortifications. They make a massive retreat, as the Kaiser decided that the current type of warfare ensures defeat for Jingzhou. Qingyang, Yulin, Baotou, Xining, Yinchuan, Zhangye, and Qinghai Lake are all abadoned without a fight. The Jing Army now focuses on a mobile defence of Anxi. From this point, the panzer divisons have mobility to attack the HEAVILY stretched Allied supply lines. Anti-Jing fighters will take time to re-base and again come into range of the Anxi defence. From now on it is a fight to retain the army, rather than gain territory, and the Reich will fight ever the harder.

Xiannese forces on coming into the retreating lines gather thousands of bodies either cremating them or burying them nearside the mountains. The forces also occupies the abandoned forts and begins a defensive postition and allowing supplies to gather up at Qinghai and an organized line was set up to insure allied troops a powerful retreat or advance.

"They're running like only Germans can, General."

"Can we pursue?" Fyreskar asked.

"A whole army? Well... yeah, I guess, Sir"

"I'm only kidding, Sergeant." he said with a smile, "We barely got set up before they backward-advanced all the way home."

"The Air Force got some, though."

"True. But we did what we came here to do. Keep airborne surveillance on them, and lets pull back for home and leave the Chiniese to rebuild this burg."

"Yes, Sir."

Advance forces halt completely in their tracks, as assault divisions and reinforcements quickly arrive, filling in the gap as fast as possible, although not fast enough. Three armored divisions have arrived at the port of Hangzhou, and supplies are flown in by air, or taken from the local countryside, whose inhabitants are reimbursed.

Central Commond: Following the rapid abandonment of their defences by the Jingzhou troops, the stance of the Commonwealth forces shifted as well to Peacekeeping Status. Granzian forces fanned into newly regained territory and began distributing humanitarian aid to the inhabitants. After crossing the Wei River, army camps were established in every city and patrols of the streets began to restore order immediately. All over Shaanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia provinces, social infrastructure was being rebuilt or improved by.

To combat the long supply lines and growing problems of logistic, a large portion of the standing army was diverted to supply duty. Supply depots and operations centers was created at Yinchuan and Lanzhou. Large cargo ships will land much needed equipment there which will be taken to the front (To all Allied armies) in either convoy trains or by transport aircraft. Medicine and arms will also be taken directly to the front via Beijing by cargo plane. All convoys will be guarded against attack by squadrons of soldiers and fortified checkpoints and positions will defend the supply route.

The remaining air divisions will be moved to airfields in the Lanzhou/Yinchuan region and will continue to launch attacks into enemy territory. Another fighter division will arrive in 2 NS days to beef up air superiority.

OOC: This will free up Allied forces for attacks into Jingzhou territory. Since all of the land originally taken by Jingzhou has been recovered, our forces will stick to a more passive role. However, Granzian will continue to offer support and airstikes will not end.
